We had a great stay at Home Suites, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and beautifully clean. The upstairs bar/cafe is a lovely spot to enjoy views of Sea Point. The staff were so friendly and everything is within easy reach to explore Cape Town. The hotel is up a steep hill from the main promenade (if planning to walk)

We needed to check out a little earlier on our day of departure (7.15am) but breakfast wasn’t open until 7.30am. We did ask if we could perhaps take something away without needing breakfast service but were told we couldn’t. It would have been a nice touch to have been able to have something to eat before departing when it was only 15 minutes before breakfast service.

The staff. The staff at the front door for check in to the amazing service we received in the restaurant. The staff at the front door provided recommendations on things to do and how to navigate the city as well were always helpful and concerned about our safety. Let me tell you about the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. The variety and the care in each item were very impressive. I tried new things, and each one was super delicious. Even chatted with the chef almost daily about recipes and spices (which I spent forever trying to find because I had to have it). Our coffee was made with beautiful designs and delivered with a smile. We really got to know the staff and appreciated their friendship. Now a huge bonus was Charlie. Charlie is the chef's dog, and he is a shitzu that walked around and just became part of the restaurant. He brought such joy to us every day as we were missing our pups at home. He really made the place feel more like a home than a hotel. Some people may not like dogs and consider this a negative but for those who do I thank you! Thank you for sharing Charlie with us. Location.... it was unplanned but we attended a Springbok rugby game and were able to walk to and home from the stadium. If booking for an event at the DHL Arena please stay here.

Its on a super steep hill if you will be walking be aware of that.

From the start till the end of our stay, we were simply blown away by the hospitality, the design, the location, the views, and the fantastic welcoming staff. We came for a trip to South Africa to celebrate my birthday and the staff prepared a beautiful welcome setting in our room. The rooms are impeccably stylish and comfortable, everything is thought through till the very detail, and the views from the hotel are just out of this world. What needs a special praise is the cafe/restaurant area and oh god the delicious breakfasts!! Downright best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel. We also enjoyed coming up for an evening drink (the restaurant makes very nice cocktails) and enjoying the ocean view. Finally a huge thank you to all the staff who were just beyond amazing - it truly felt like home. As for the location, it was a great and safe spot for a Cape Town visit location in good uber distance to all major sightseeing spots. Can't recommend this place enough and simply can't wait to return!!!

Superb room with huge, comfortable bed and exceptionally well equipped bathroom. Also in room fridge and coffee/ tea making equipment. All the staff I met were thoroughly helpful and professional. A complete asset to the hotel. The breakfast was beyond belief good. A sensational range of food, cooked brilliantly. Evening meal offerings were also substantial, remarkably well priced and exceptionally tasty. The hotel's rooftop terrace has panoramic views of Sea Point and the area up to the DHL stadium, which is clearly visible, plus a small pool. As a hotel, this is the standard all others should aim for.

If I really want to nit pick, it's a bit of a climb up from the Beach Road, but I'm looking for issues, rather than feeling that a problem existed.

From check in to check out home suites staff were very helpful and accommodating. I checked in at like midnight and 3nights later checked out at like 6am, and at no point did they make it seem like an inconvenience to them. I had a lovely north facing room, and it being winter the sunshine through the windows brought beautiful warmth into my room while looking out at the ocean. Breakfast was simple but really great, enough choices for a hot/cold breakfast, buffet type setting, my made to order omelet was delicious. I made use of the hotel Cafe alot because they offered room service throughout the day, and the food was really great - when I'd come in late I could just text through an order and find it in my room that night. This establishment is small and I think that's what allows them to give great service with a personal touch. It was a beautiful peaceful stay and I really felt at home.

Bathrooms only offered a shower, having had a sporting activity on one of the days I really needed a hot water soak. But that really was a minor detail.

The breakfast was wonderful. Hugo went above and beyond to make a great cup of coffee (with new designs each day). The omelette was delicious and keep making those blueberry muffins. The views from the couch area every morning was amazing.

It wasn't clear on how to reach the front desk. I had to go into your website to figure out that I was to WhatsApp for the front desk. Once this was sorted our needs were met very promptly, thank you. The kingklip I ordered at dinner one evening was not too great and the table wasn't closed off properly as it still showed upon checkout despite me having settled the bill on the night.

We enjoyed everything - the spotless room was large, well appointed, strong, Wifi, lovely color scheme, the beds and pillows extremely comfortable, quiet location. There were fresh flowers everywhere, including our room. The roof top area was open, but not being used because it was cold. The restaurant was good for dinner and exceptional for the most incredible breakfast. We couldn’t believe they put on such a great breakfast with so much variety and a fairly small place. There was a lot of seating as well. Service was excellent.! The staff were great.

Extremely comfortable beds, lovely clean, spacious and modern room, all the staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. Good location in quiet neighbourhood. Nice touches in the room, coffee maker, kettle, teas and teapot. A daily bottle of water provided. The breakfast, served between 7.30am and 11:00am was exceptional, everything you could want and more and we were even provided with a breakfast box when we had to leave at 6.30am for an excursion.

Would have been nice to have local TV channels. Only YouTube or paid channels were available

The location was excellent (we went to see Robbie Williams at the stadium) for our needs, and the views, staff and hotel its self were truly amazing! I felt like I was on a "real" holiday! The roof top pool and bar were excellent, the breakfasts were delicious and fresh, and the fact that its pet friendly was amazing (I would book again in the future for a break, and bring my dog with)

Only comment (and not a bad one) was that for myself, the breakfast only being served from 7.30am was a little late. I had to work the following day, and with traffic in and out of town, I had to leave at 7am the following day so missed out on the breakfast. If you have a large vehicle, I would also just be careful as getting in the car park is quite tight, and on a one way street....

Perfect hotel. The sheets were exceptionally soft. The breakfast was just the right size with some items cooked in front of you and exceptional tea and coffee service. We had a drink at night in the same room and it was cozy and friendly. The staff was welcoming and helpful. This hotel was the perfect size for me -- not a huge resort and not so small that you felt limited. Parking was protected behind a gate. Check-in was quick. The hotel dogs were a lovely touch for me who was missing my dog. A perfect stay.

Nothing
