We stayed in room 26 & 27 which made a great little flat for our family of 4. Lovely comfy beds (king size in 27) and good quality linen. TV's in each room plus safes and a hairdryer in 26. Very nice kitchen with dishwasher. Complimentary tea inc rooibos , sugar, coffee and some milk pods in the fridge. Small but nicely kept outdoor pool and lots of outdoor furniture areas to sit under the trees on the grass. Communal braai area, fire pit and loads of workspaces. Had a delicious vegan breakfast at the on-site Nourished. (They do a few vegetarian dishes too) Just a suggestion to have the menu in the rooms? Staff at Neighbourgood were friendly, thanks for the stay...☺️

Unfortunately the bathroom needs a bit of a refurb. (I realise that's time & cashflow dependent) Also just a bit of work needed on some outside tiles. Other than that super good value for money.

The most pleasant, professional, caring, concerned, genuine, helpful crew across the board. Constant smiles all around. Nothing was ever too much trouble. I had a very very sore leg the 4 days I was here and every SINGLE crew member checked up on me, came to say hi as I was marooned in my room, and made me feel special, welcomed, precious and important. Must mention Lissar and Pamela and Michael and Sikho and Shannon and of course Sino as outstanding angels.

Small issue with loo not flushing very strongly necessitating multiple flushes. A minor problem to be sure.

My goodness the staff is soo friendly an warm, they take care of the guests in soo many good ways, the rooms, kitchen, bathroom were clean the beds are soo comfortable, the place is soo clean an quiet, you can take nice pictures there, we arrived before booking time with my family but they still catered for us same applies to checking out, The staff made a little beautiful surprise for my sister as itwas her graduation. The guest house is not far from the beach an shops, I highly recommend it for anyone who is coming to Cape Town, I'm definitely coming back. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I would like another fast and hot cooking stove the 1 we had was not that hot for cooking , but otherwise excellent place 👌

The room, although small, is well laid out and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and room very clean. The staff are friendly and willing to help with anything. It doesn't feel like you are staying in the city. There is also a pool. The weather was, however, too cold for us to enjoy the pool. There is a lot of attention to detail in the room and the shared spaces.

There is only limited street parking available and were advised to park on the pavement with two wheels on the pavement. Did that and got a traffic ticket. Still waiting to see what the fine is. So if you are traveling by car, make sure you can park legally. We had the downstairs room and the people above us sounded like they were rearranging their room. The floors and walls are very thin, so you can hear everything upstairs and outside your room. We did stay there the night of the Rugby World Cup, so we did not expect it to be very quiet, anyway.

This was a fantastic place :) Felt very very safe! I was also always sharing my Uber rides and also my location,and reception always made sure someone knows where I am ! As a solo female traveler,this was very very important to me and very much appreciated! The room was spacious and clean ! The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was very clean! The vibe was great and I met some very nice people ! Will absolutely be coming back when in Cape town and will absolutely recommend it to anyone! Very warm place. Special thanks to Michael!

The hostel is in a safe and good location, there is a coffee place inside that makes delicious food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy check in and checkout. We had a private room that was clean and cozy, just a bit too cold and humid coming from the windows. Definitely staying again next time!

In three room was cold.

We had the greatest stay. Myself, my wife and our 2 boys were absolutely blown away by the amazing staff, exceptional services and just an all round perfect atmosphere. The only 1 thing I can "criticize" is that 1 staff member wasn't as friendly, my kids agree. The pregnant lady. Aside from her, we would definitely come again

Perfect little "oasis" for working and relaxing in Cape Town. The place had a generator so wifi was steady. During the day the place were really busy with visitors at the small (and really good café) and people working. The place where in walking distance from most places (the promenade, Seapoint, Jasons Bakery etc.). We loved staying there and would definitively come back.

Loved the location and the service, the cleanliness and the space in the apartment. Would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in that area. Parking is a problem but we were able to park on the curb right in front of our rooms.

There was nothing we did not like, the stairs were a little problem for me owing to my age but I coped with the help of my family.

Excellent location. Second room we were given was spacious, clean, everything worked well. Staff at reception were extremely friendly, helpful and understanding of our initial problems with the rooms and did all they could to ensure that our stay exceeded our expectation.

The first room we were allocated was extremely small with a very small window. My wife is claustrophobic and so there was no way we could have stayed in that room. Both the rooms we stayed in had very little "cupboard" space for two peoples clothing (in fact there was no cupboard, only an open shelf with hanging rack). We also asked for an extra blanket for the bed and were told that there were none.
