We are repeat payrons of this establishment Reasons we generally choose to stay here when travelling to Cape Town: 1) Secure parking in parking garage with remote controlled access. 24 hour security. 2) Great location, short drive to Waterfront. 3) Always superclean. 4) Love the decor and luxurious feel. 5) Romney Park staff are always friendly, professional, courteous, and helpful. From the reception, watering staff, cleaners, and security- everybody gives the same high quality service. This time, we were joined by 2 friends and we booked a 2 bedroom apartment and received a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom apartment. Such a stunning unit - 104. We felt like millionaires!

Great area and very handy for Ubers to the V&A which was a 5 minute drive away. Apartment was spacious and clean and hot water plentiful. Very quiet and peaceful.

Although the description said air conditioning; it was only in the living room of the apartment and not the bedroom. Breakfasts were ok - the pastries etc were not fresh and if they weren’t eaten they were put out the next day and the next ….the hot food took a long time to arrive. We gave up in the end apart from the final day where our order took half an hour to cook ( pancakes) and what arrived was tiny pancake which was not cooked properly. The laundry service at this hotel is very expensive! And for South Africa even more so …..they wanted almost £8 to launder a dress which didn’t include ironing and £2.50 for a pair of underwear! In comparison we have moved to a different hotel which is a 4* and for a whole load of laundry washed and ironed is £10!

Excellent apartment for 4 people, great sea views, excellent service and delicious breakfast. It was a great value for the money. We felt pampered here.

My stay at Romney Park Luxury Apartments was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm hospitality and the stunning views from the property. The apartment itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean—truly a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals, but I also enjoyed the on-site restaurant for breakfast. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. What really stood out was the location—just minutes from the V&A Waterfront and other top Cape Town attractions, yet nestled in a peaceful, secure area. Whether I was relaxing by the pool or sipping wine on the private balcony, I always felt relaxed and well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Romney Park to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and convenient stay in Cape Town. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

They have really invested in the home away from home feel. As it really felt as coming home and plunging on the couch every evening. Staff is friendly and responsive and went out of their way to make things happen. We wanted to move up one floor to have a better sea view, and although they were fully booked they managed to swap us after a few days. The rooms are smaller than they appear, but because you have enough balcony space and they are furnished really efficiently, that wasn't a real problem. Location is 5-7 minutes walking from restaurants on the main road. The pool area is small, but we spend most time roaming the city, so no need for pooltime. Neighbourhood was nice, went out for a run every morning.

They ran out of strawberries at breakfast one day. Really that was the only thing 🤣 hot water issue in our room was quickly resolved

Staff went above and beyond to help. nothing was too much trouble, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast provided good selection to meet everyones requirements and the staff providing this were cheerful, welcoming and helpful. accessibility and ease of access to Cape Town, Waterfront was less than 10 minute drive and convienently located for access to local beaches and Table Mountain. Accomodation was beautifully furnished, clean and very comfortable for 5 adults.

Where to start? Everything!! This place is incredible. We had a two bedroom apartment for 5 nights and then a one bedroom for 1 night (because we had a flight cancellation). Both perfect. -the location is perfect - super safe (we were 2 girls) - breakfast is big with variety and great staff - the pool is not big but really nice to lounge around - the view from the top balconies is beautiful - the apartment are big and with everything you could need. - this place is really luxurious On a side note: BIG THANK YOU to both Ruby and Thandiswa. We couldn't make our flight so we ended up coming back. They were the sweetest. We felt a little bit lost and it felt like coming back to your aunties. They took our suitcases, brought us breakfast (and even remembered what we liked) even if it was too late and officially we had checked out. They took us to the pool and prepared our new room for an extra night for us. Honestly it couldn't have been better. Such incredible service. We felt safe and taken care of! on arrival they take a photocopy of your full payment card all details (including name, card nunber and security code etc) which I’m not sure why and I wasn’t overly comfortable with but had no choice

What a gem! The location is so close to the waterfront, with breathtaking views across the foreshore. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The front desk staff and housekeeping were incredibly friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable.

For such a large and luxurious accommodation, we expected to have both a dishwasher and a tumble dryer. Additionally, there was no vegan breakfast selection or decaff coffee available, which was disappointing.

Breakfast was lovely but the options were the same everyday guess there is need for variety. The place is so beautiful and peaceful liked that about the place and WiFi spot on

The other room with the twin beds was so cold with no air on and this is where my kids had to sleep. It is the one thing which stopped them from scoring a 100% review from me. No extra blankets provided. On check in the staff carried our bags which was lovely, on checkout we had to struggle with our bags worse holding the gate so that it doesn’t lock up while the staff looked on.
