We really enjoyed our time at Wilton Manor. The communication prior to arriving was excellent. When we arrived, we received a warm Welcome just as though we were family returning Home after a long absence. We were given a tour of the property as our things were being take to our room. The beautiful converted mansion is located in a quiet, safe and upscale residential neighborhood. Proximity to nearby Restaurants was really good, and getting an Uber was fast and inexpensive. Breakfast was delicious, and an honor bar made it easy to access beer, Wine, soft drinks, Water. Not only were all the staff friendly and helpful, the guests were as well. My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful African artifacts that decorated this beautiful property. The outdoor decks were very comfortable as well however the cold rainy weather prevented us from spending much time outside. Our bed and pillows were very comfortable, and we slept really well. We wish we would’ve had more time to spend there. We would definitely stay there again another time when we are in Cape Town. It felt like we were leaving family when we departed.

The main thing we would improve is the Internet. It was extremely weak in our room so we have to come downstairs to the dining room to effectively access WiFi most of the time. And it would be great if they served dinner, but with restaurants nearby, they were happy to let us do take out. They supplied tableware, glasses, and even cleaned up after we finished eating.

Nadine and Sarita were sooo kind and helpful. I love you. The location is absolutely good. Great walking possibilities to the Waterfront, Sea Point promenade and Green Point Park are by daylight very safe. For the rest is Uber my friend. The place is very warm and cosy, maybe a bit old fashioned. But that has its charm. My bedroom was well equipped, even a nice balcony with 2 chairs. Breakfast was ok, no way to complain. The presence of security all night was very reassuring. Top!!

If I must say something small it was the early fuzz which woke me, but that was because living above the kitchen.

Overall, I had a positive experience at this guest house. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location was convenient, and I felt safe thanks to the great security on the property. The breakfast was also excellent—definitely a highlight of the visit.

There were a few areas that could use improvement. The walls were very thin, and I could hear a fog horn at night, which made it difficult to sleep. Also, the room opened onto a shared balcony, which affected the sense of privacy. The pool was quite small and not really suitable for swimming.

Nadine and the other blond lady ( sorry I can’t recall the name) are super kind, welcoming and go above and beyond to satisfy your request! I asked to have my shoes washed after the hike and they didn’t charge me for that! The place is lovely, with a small yet refreshing swimming pool! Location is perfect to reach many shops and restaurants by feet, and even the waterfront! It also feels pretty safe and they have over night patrol security! The room was bigger than expected and with all the comforts! The breakfast is very good! They offer a continental one but it doesn’t offer a huge selection, not for Europe at least - but I learned that’s they way almost everywhere in Southafrica!

The rooms are indeed a bit smelly, I think it’s the wood! But one can get over it! The shower is pretty roomy but the microphone is fixed at the wall, which is the case in many other places, but still not my favourite.

Conveniently located. Approx. 15 min. walk to the V&A waterfront and a short Uber ride for most everything else. Located in a quiet, safe area. Staff was lovely and attentive to all our needs. There’s a security guard on premises during the late night/ overnight hours. Breakfast was more than sufficient- homemade breads, fresh fruit and yogurt and eggs made to order. Room was spacious and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

The staff were very kind and helpful, the space was clean and organized, breakfast delicious too, specially the quiches made by lovely Mrs. Elizabeth, cooker with blessed hands. I can say the location is great because is at a safety neighbourhood and is central to go to all main touristic attractions and it is a 46 rand run by uber from V&A waterfront. The decoration and furniture are Also part of the pleasant experience of Stay.

The only thing can be improved is the shower box (a lot of water wets the floor, Maybe giving an extra towel to dry floor) and a bit of noise from floor (maybe because of the type of wood or old materials) . But any of these things were a problem at all.

We stayed in unit 9. It was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. You have to go up several stairs to get to the bathroom which may be a problem if you have mobility issues but we loved how it looked. A very pretty unit. There was a gorgeous balcony with outdoor furniture that we enjoyed tremendously. We had the use of the rest of the manor which included many special dining spots, refrigerators, microwave, and a refreshing swimming pool. The location is wonderful. We felt very safe walking to restaurants and to the DHL stadium at night. The staff was wonderful and made us feel at home. We were served a very nice breakfast each morning.

Nothing, but could see the steps of the multi-leveled building could be an issue to some. The different levels add to the beauty of the historical manor, though, so would not change it

Good location, building has lots of character rather than a white and cream coloured places you find, Large rooms for the price, we stayed in room 4 which I think was a "king delux" which had lots of space, Shared balcony very relaxing to watch the unset from, friendly staff, cute dogs, excellent breakfast with these homemade quiches which are worth a particular mention!

I had a 10 day stay at the hotel and I absolutely loved it. Very nice decor and interior design, very good breakfast, nice rooms but as its an old building its not very soundproof. It did not bother me though. I felt very welcomed and the service is top notch. Thank you very much again to Nadine, Sari, Elisabeth, Allen, Bodvin for your every day smiles, positive energy, kindness and your care. I believe the place wouldn`t be as wonderful without you. A beautiful, well laid-out and decorated property. Our room was large, comfortable, quiet and well-furnished. The owners/managers were very accommodating to our requests to arrive early to leave our bags and also to extending our stay. The communal areas, both interior and exterior, were very inviting and well-furnished and maintained, with plenty of natural wood furniture and fittings. We tried to sit in different places over the three days we were there, in order to enjoy them all. The weather was just a bit too chilly to try the inviting-looking pool. Breakfast was served in these communal areas and consisted of a wide range of cereals, baked goods and cold options plus hot options cooked to order. Very tasty! The property is an easy 20 minute walk to the V&A, aquarium etc and also the Green Point bus stop for the Hop-on, hop off buses (red and blue routes plus Cape Point tour). There are a good number of restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk, in a safe neighbourhood. Property security is fantastic, with a fob for both the front gate and front door plus key to our room and key code operated safe in our wardrobe. They also employ a security guard at night.
