Delicious breakfast, beautifully served. Super location, Sea Point for peaceful stroll along the promenade and the V&A Waterfront walkable in 15 mins. Safe and secure location, easy to walk to local restaurants within 5 minutes even after dark (ordinarily you are not advised as a tourist to walk after dark - Ubers super quick and cheap). Staff really friendly and helpful. Bed super comfortable, immaculate room and bathroom.

Pool only suitable as a plunge pool, smaller than photos depicted. Some noise as guests returned in the evenings but after about 11pm we didn’t hear anything.

Beautiful High Ceiling and very comfortable beds, we arrived early and they allowed us to drop our bags while we walked around the area. we were not out for very long and on our return the rooms were ready early. The staff were very friendly and nice and nothing was a bother for them. We were out most of the day at the V & A and on our return we went to the supermarket right across the road from the guest house which was great. We spent a little time in the garden and plunge pool which was great to have in the heat. The rooms were very nice although the TV has no channels so we signed into Prime and had a Movie night after along day, the staff very kindly allowed my daughter to make noodles in the kitchen which was great. You have to Pre-order your breakfast which was easy and it was very nice. I ordered a Fruit Bowl and a Full English and the Fruit bowl was hugh. Great Location close to DHL Stadium and V&A which we walked to with ease.

The staff were great, all very helpful and friendly. They also made a great breakfast! A highlight of our stay (the juices were amazing). The hotel is very nicely decorated inside and outside with a nice little pool for enjoying some afternoon sun. Beds were comfy and hotel is well located to explore everywhere in Cape Town. Definitely recommend!

It’s a sweet renovated Victorian home with lofty rooms and a sweet outside for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly - letting us leave our bags while we went for two nights and then returned.

The first room we were put in (we had two stinks there) was number 5 and we didn’t like the layout of the room. There was also barely any wardrobe space for both of us/ the view was also out to an old dusty block or flats so not a nice view. The second room 2 - was perfect.

Harpers House was our base in Cape Town for almost a week. You can park the car in the gated drive way which was very helpful. The location felt safe and we walked around during the day and had no problem. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. The room was spacious with high ceilings. The whole house has just around 5-7 rooms, so it felt very cozy.

The lighting in the room was quite dim, and the bathroom was on the small side. However, we only noticed it because we stayed there for quite a long time.

we had an amazing time at Harpers house, the place is simply beautiful and the location great to travel around CapeTown. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the breakfast really good. We definitely enjoyed Harpers House and will be staying back on our next trip.

Wow! What a beautiful place, it really is more like a house than a hotel / b&b. Staff = AMAZING! Could not be more helpful and accommodating. The room was huge, with a big tv / sofa / chair / wardrobe / fireplace / high ceilings, massive and very comfortable bed. Great security without feeling like it's needed and your own fobs for the gate, front door, room etc. Harpers House was one of our best accommodation experiences in 13 nights in South Africa.

We loved everything.

The whole house is stunning, clean and tidy. There is secured parking available even though Green Point is a safe neighborhood. Breakfast was always very nice, the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The bed is a bit small and not very comfy. Since the house is quite old you will hear everything what is going on in the corridor and smell in your room as soon as the first people attend breakfast.

Wonderful house, beautifully decorated (inside and outside). A pity we couldn't enjoy the pool since it was winter. We were very happy to have a place to park our car. Breakfast was exceptional, I'd say the best we had in three weeks in South Africa. Great choices, delicious and fresh food, in a very beautiful breakfast room.

It's an old house and a bit noisy (you hear the other people), but nothing that a pair of earbuds can't fix.

The rooms were big and great bathrooms. Excellent location - about 20 min walk from the waterfront and just down the road from a series of great restaurants. The staff were all very friendly and there is a comprehensive breakfast choice.

Breakfast service could be a little slow when everyone was down at the same time as it is cooked to order - would need to bear that in mind if in a hurry. But if on holiday it starts the day of in a relaxed way.
