The location was excellent- walking distance to the waterfront, Green point Park, and stores and restaurants. V&A Waterfront is close by as well, but our host recommended taking an Uber there. He was right, as we were robbed of our credit card while walking there. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful. Although close to a major Street, it set back a few blocks and then the location is very quiet. It's up a little bit on the hill, so you can get a limited view of the bay and park. Our room was well equipped with a good bathroom, and functional kitchenette, although it was a little bit tight.

The room was well equipped, and comfortable, but a little bit tight. The bed was a little short for this 6 ft four guest. The front door had to be locked with a padlock and a key, so if one of us left, the other was left behind without a key and would not be able to exit in an emergency.

Very thoughtful host - the accommodation lacked for nothing and was very comfortable. The location is amazing and within walking distance of restaurants, shops etc. It is very quiet and peaceful with partial seaviews. There is a mini fridge, microwave, plates etc in the room and the bed is very comfortable..The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming and willing to assist with anything one needs and the communication is rapid.

Stadium guesthouse is not modern and minimalist which is my preferred style. That said it is comfortable and warm and very easy to stay in and I would stay there again.

If you are looking for a B&B in Cape Town, stop searching, you just found it! This was by far one of the best experiences we had during our travel. Louis and Leana are extraordinary hosts, who supported us with everything, starting with a welcome soup (we arrived at 11pm with empty stomaches), plans and recommendations for Cape Town, over arranging transportation for us and providing a (cold) breakfast option for free. They are very open, communicative and super friendly hosts! The room was spotless during our stay of 5 days, fresh towels were provided, Wifi is available, the nights were super calm, we had a good rest. Also the area of the house is perfect, we were able to walk to and from the waterfront, even at night, it is very safe! As we also went diving, the balcony was perfect for the final airing of our diving suits, before packing them back in our suitcases.

Very friendly hosts and staff. Room was very clean and housekeeping was excellent. Hosts gave us lots of good local advice. Location of accommodation is in a quiet area but close to restaurants, shops and the waterfront. Aircon in the room was great as mornings could be a bit chilly. Breakfast items provided in the room was a nice touch along with bath robes and nice large bath towels. Great bath/shower with lots of hot water. We loved having sundowners on the balcony, which gets the sun most of the day.

We always felt safe at the property but we did have to use 4 keys to get from the garden gate to our room. Padlock on the front door security gate was a bit fiddly, especially at night. TV channels were very limited and broadband downloads were limited. Electrics in the room were a bit quirky.

I loved that it was a self catering room with fridge,microwave, toaster & kettle. There was milk in the fridge, coffee etc, all utensils, huge TV, beautiful bathroom with spa bath & shower and best of all our own private balcony. Louis was very informative about things to do and a very friendly host. Oh and the bed was very comfy! We walked to the Oranjezicht market on Sunday and what a place! 3 mins from there was the V&A at the waterfront, again what a place! All in all a lovely few days. Thank you Louis

Nothing to dislike

Wonderful accommodation! The staff and in particular the property manager (Louis) is what made my stay at this BnB most enjoyable. Upon arrival Louis made us Tea/coffee with cookies and sat with us for 30-45mins to talk through a map of Cape Town with things to do. He provided some local knowledge 'Gems' which we took advantage of and improved our trip. Louis also gave us a very detailed overview of the amenities in the room. Louis was contactable over whatsapp during the stay for any help and advice during the stay. A very warm welcome and stay overall. Wonderful. Many thanks Louis, we will return next time we visit Cape Town!

Everything was perfect!

Louis is an exceptional host - nothing too much trouble and he went the extra mile with everything. We felt like a family friend staying at the guesthouse. Location was very good - lots of restaurants close to hand and V&A Docks a 15 minute walk away. Parking on site. Room was quirky and comfortable with lots of extras (fruit, granola, real coffee, a big bar of soap etc). Just like a home from home in Cape Town. Would happily stay again. Thanks Louis.

Nothing

The accommodation was one of the nicest and most comfortable on our trip to South Africa. The room was very large and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom had a large bathtub. Everything was very clean. Our room had a very nice balcony where we could sit outside in the evening. Louis is a very warm and friendly host. He gave us good tips. The waterfront is very easy to reach on foot. This accommodation exceeded our expectations and we would book there again in a heartbeat.

The room is quite big and well equipped. The location is quiet and close to the waterfront. Louis was very flexible and did everything to make us confortable during our stay.

Some WiFi issues : to be honest we did not really care… Louis helped us to have a minimum connection so we could send news to the family and plan for our days. Not a major issue and he told us he was in the process of fixing it with the internet provider

Owner is super nice and very helpful. Rooms are large and spotless and the cleaning lady is very nice. Location is decent: a 20 minute walk or cheap Uber ride to the waterfront.

AC didn't work in one of our two rooms and the TVs didn't work. Having non-working TVs and telling us not to download movies on their internet seems unreasonable. Bathroom in the upstairs room is a bit dangerous. Getting in and out of the shower is risky.
