A true little gem within walking distance of the Waterfront area, with beautiful interiors and attention to every detail. Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely sea view balcony. Delicious breakfast freshly cooked every morning. Lovely atmosphere and friendly and very efficient staff: they were all so adorable with us. The location for access to the V&A was quite good. The hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill, so if walking, it can be a bit of a challenge in the heat and certainly if you are of limited mobility. The staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Some extras like afternoon cake and drinks were a nice gesture, The hotel has a driver that you can book to take you to restaurants or wherever. It is paid for through your room bill. The room was pleasant. We had one on the top floor with sea views. There was a small balcony just large enough for sitting. The breakfasts were good.

There was no fridge in the room, which in hot weather is a downside. The amount of shelf space in the bathroom was poor. There was covered parking, but only room for 4 small cars and difficult to park in some of the spaces because of a large tree in the middle of the garage, but the hotel staff do help with this and will move your car for other guests if necessary. We had a slight issue with something being disposed of from our room even though we hadn't put it in the waste basket. An explanation was given but we didn't feel it was the maids prerogative to decide on what should be disposed of.

The staff here are lovely - there is definitely a personal touch. The location was excellent and the hotel benefits from their own drivers who can help when needed. The included breakfast was very nice and catered to all. Hotel was quiet. There was always someone on front desk all night - Phiwe had the week we were there and was always very attentive. We loved are stay and would consider returning!

Not much. The bathroom would benefit from a few hooks for the supplied robes.

Staff was great and very friendly. Hotel is beautiful and the room spacious. Breakfast was great.

At breakfast can improve by having side plates available for bread, pastries, etc. Parking was problematic in that the street is very narrow and it was difficult turning around the car. We also booked sessions at the spa. The treatment was not quite 5 star, we were not asked which of the options on the menu we wanted and the noise levels from outside the treatment room carries very loud into the treatment room. Not very relaxing due to the noise from reception area.

We stayed in a premium mountain view room. Very pleasant stay. Rooms clean and comfortable. The staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Attention to some small details. Very good breakfast. Safe parking for rental car. We can only recommend this hotel! Thank you.

Due to a main road going past the back side of the hotel, one can hear traffic until early morning hours. Cape town is a big and busy city, especially during peak season, so this would be a minor complaint and not be a reason for us to book as a returning guest!

Breakfast options were good. There was plenty of choice ranging from fresh fruit, yoghurt, meats and cheese to cooked options and pastries. The hotel is a little oasis once inside and the staff are the best I have ever encountered for making you feel welcome.

Although it's not the hotels fault, our room backed on to a busy road and could be quite noisy. It is a busy city so it's not too surprising that you hear noise from other properties when relaxing by the pool. The access road is quite steep so not for those with limited mobility.

Excellent location. Clean hotel with great facilities. The staff we ALL amazing. Attentive, friendly and always happy. The pool was a ‘plunge’ pool that could only accommodate 2/3 people at a time. Breakfast was excellent. Cooked as well as continental.

We arrived without a hire car, therefore we had to get taxis everywhere for our own safety. The hotel sorted these for us each time which was fantastic. The drivers were prompt and cars clean. It was a little expensive and added a lot to the bill. Table Mountain transfer R500 a trip to Woodstock district R600. Having mentioned this it was still a great service that we used and needed. So paid for willingly. The shower also was a little unnerving at 1st as I felt I could be seen from outside. You cannot. It is a boutique hotel and therefore the shower was made to feel like it was outdoors.

The team was fantastic - Sheila & the team really took care of us. The room was spacious and super comfortable. The location was fantastic and the area was very safe. The room and bed at the LookOut suite was fantastic, and the balcony had a fantastic view!

The swimming pool was a bit small but we hadn't planned on using it much so it didn't hinder us. Additionally, lighting in room is a bit dim at times but using the lamp helped brighten the room.

WiFi was a little bit intermittent Private parking was good but was a tiny bit tricky to access the car as the spot is quite tight and backed onto a main road. However we were happy to know the car was in secure parking

Highly, highly, highly recommend. The staff was amazing - particularly Sheila and Elton who were tremendously helpful arranging dinner reservations and travel to/from the hotel. Whether it was their recommendation or a special request, they just made it happen. Peter was an excellent driver and was super helpful, taking us early in the morning, and picking us up late in the evening. Loved the breakfast and the dining area, the food was great! The room was very nice, turndown service was great.
