The staff were all amazingly lovely, polite, well-mannered, cheerful, professional, helpful, and an absolute pleasure to encounter. They made my first visit to South Africa a wonderful one.

The pool was somewhat disappointing, on my arrival. After 24 hours of travelling, the first thing I did was make use of the pool for a refreshing awakening dip. The water was cloudy with a floating film of dead midgies. I took the plunge anyway but made good use of the poolside shower before returning to my room. I mentioned this to the reception staff when returning my towel, and they said they would have it tended to. For the rest of my stay, the water was much cleaner but never crystal clear. In the room, the glass wall between the bathroom and the bed area could do with a blind or curtain on the bed side wall. Turning the light on in the night disturbed the other person. I am able to go to the bathroom in the dark; my partner is not.

İt is my 3rd stay at this hotel and the fact says it all - I like the place. The design is great, beds and pillows very comfy, great breakfast and staff. It is just 10 mins safe walk to the Sunday market and the waterfront. The hotel has a private underground parking for just 55 R per night.

-we found out that despite guaranteed reservation thru booking.com, our reservation was cancelled by the hotel - I want to find out why. Luckily, the manager on duty fixed the problem and gave as the room. -it was quite hot in the room and open window didn't help. the floor AC is way too loud to be switched on for the whole night

The location was fabulous, good walking distance from certain restaurants we wanted to visit, but also just outside the busier areas which meant it was perfect to come home to each evening. It felt safe, well connected and also not too far from the waterfront that we walked to often. The staff were soo lovely and attentive, all staff at reception did so much to help where needed. The rooms were cleaned so well each day also.

The only issue for me was the free airport shuttle, often had long wait times so much to that I had to abandon my scheduled shuttle for my airport jouney back to the airport as they were running late and did not communicate so I could not risk missing my flight.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms are a great size 😃😃 good value for money. The location is very central a few meters from the V&A. The location was also very safe there was a Tuk shop just behind the hotel if you need something small. The beds were so comfortable I slept like a baby through out .Also the windows were insulated so no noise from the road at night. Breakfast was okay.The chef at the egg station was A1 yummiest eggs I have had in a while. One morning the manger was assisting at the dinning area she was Soo friendly and warm I didn't get her name.

First and foremost, Sesona at the front desk was superb – extremely friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The location was perfect, just a 15–20 minute walk to the V&A Waterfront. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and all the basic necessities were provided. The breakfast buffet was excellent – decent variety and quality.

There were no USB charging points and not enough two-prong plug sockets – one was already in use for the telephone, which made charging our devices a bit of a challenge. It also felt a little odd that there was only one chair (office type) in a room meant for two people, which meant one of us had to sit on the bed the whole time.

The hotel was in a perfect location, about 15/20 minute stroll to the V & A Waterfront area and similar to the city centre. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large shower room. Breakfast was lovely with eggs made on request.

The only downside we found was the air conditioning, it was so, so noisy there was no way you could sleep with it on. Our room was at the front of the hotel so the noise from the road was quite loud when the window was open but, in January, it was too hot to sleep with no air con and the window shut. We would recommended a room at the back where the road noise probably wouldn’t be quite as bad, the Mountain View at the front really wasn’t worth it!

We stayed 5 nights on vacation. We had a loft which was very comfortable and huge. Our room had 1.5 bathrooms, kitchenette with lots of privacy. A table and couch for business purposes. The room was quiet. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff is friendly and wonderful. Everyone was great but a standout was Gabby who helped me immensely on several occasions. Breakfast was great and variable enough that we never got bored each morning.. Love the quiet swimming pool to relax. Parking situation was also ideal. I would easily stay here again.

Frienly and proactive security personnel. Lindo's quick and perfectly prepared omelettes. Location conveniently centered to major attractions, nicely slightly hidden from the hassle and tassel of the city but you are still in the city. We were in 520 and thanked ourselves for deciding to not going to that stampede at the V&A for new years eve coz we were able to see the fire works from the room. A balcony would have enhanced the experience... Great wine selection at the bar, no pap saak 😂. Did get to eat the buffet dinner but enjoyed my ribeye steak though not a fan of basting next time they might want give an option of basting of herbs and spices. The steak was tender and medium prepared 🤤🤤🤤. To housekeeping, thanks to those who kept the loft 👌🏿i would have loved to see whoever was responsible. The room was like cleaned by a tokolosh but you may call a fairy. My stay there got me thinking, may be i need to ditch Pretoria for good. Thanks a mill for the proper coffee in the room👌🏿 Wife happy, son happy then I am happy 😁

I hated in fact i despised and i also saw what i was feeling on the face's of other guests especially today, the look and energy of the staff members they looked as if they were happy to see us leaving. To think about it 🤔they have been like that since we checked in. I want to register a formal complaint that i had to checkout and no one did anything to stop me. Next time I am there please make sure i leave because i want to not because i have to. Have nice life with your nice staff at your nice hotel. I hope you are happy!!!

It was clean was at a great location and staff was helpful overall great hotel with great service and at a great location with decent pricing

For some reason there was lack of spoon (they were available just not at the table) at breakfast always even though they offer cereal which I thought was odd. 2. The AC was always turning on and off and didn’t seem to provide as much cooling as expected the ac kept turning high and low noise would make it hard to sleep

Very disappointed, that my special request was not met and this after I received a positive response that it would be met without any additional cost. I then received another response on the 28 February the day of my stay that this request for my 25 year anniversary (bottle of champagne and snacks be placed in room) that this was not possible and would be a additional cost. Response was sent by Achuma, who said you could provide a cake platter which was also not provided. My wife and I stayed at the hotel 2 years ago and my special request for my anniversary was met but this time round was conflicting responses. The welcome letter in my room had the wrong names, not sure if this was meant for another room or a typing error
