Location is absolutely spot on. So much within easy walking distance and a R60 Uber gets you to everything. It is just far enough away from the bustle to have some peace. The bar area is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good.

Whilst the venue is very good value compared with similar properties in the area, there were just a few things that made it feel a little "budget" I was there for 6 nights and only got 1 bottle of water on the first night and same with soap etc. there are no wardrobes to hang clothes and there is no desk and just a stool to sit on. I think for a quick visit it is perfect but 6 nights was a little long for me. I can't quite work out the genre this place falls into

Love this hotel, been a few times now and will return again. The few faults I can find are easily outweighed by the amazing, happy, bubbly staff who are all more than willing to help you. Great location, fabby breakfast and a great atmosphere all round. Ask for Room 601 if you can, it's got a nice living area and it's the only one with a balcony!

I hate hate hate wired hairdryers in the bathroom for two reasons, if you are two people then you are taking up more time in the bathroom than is really necessary and most of all, if you are as tall as me trying to dry the back of your hair is really not easy! Annoying that for some reason they kept forgetting to leave us clean towels, no big problem though, we asked and we received.

we liked the location, competent and friendly staff as well as the interior decoration.The breakfast included in the price was also excellent.

We couldn't set the aircon cooler - the staff assisted us with it, but still the room felt a bit too warm. There were no shelves to unpack your clothes - you really lived out of your suitcase - but we enjoyed staying there.

Great location between Waterfront and downtown, good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable beds.

Room was an unusual shape due to the sloping wall - gave it character though! Plumbing over one of the beds also kept me awake every time upstairs flushed - problem solved by moving to the other bed.

The location is amazing, from the hotel you reach the VA Waterfront in just 6-7 min walk along the water canal, rooms are clean and comfy, the staff is very helpful and always ready to give advices on tours and hours, always nice and smiling; breakfast is continental (eggs, bacon, cheese, omlette, ash browns, at least one variety of veggies, muesly, pastry, bread butter jam...) - plenty of food but not that much variety from day to day, it was okay with us though. They just opened a massage room, which was a bonus for me. Would definitely recommend your stay there: excellent stay at a good price given you are at the Waterfront in Cape Town.

Room was best, it was beyond my expectation. I did not expect it. I liked the location as well as it is near to convention center and not far from V&A waterfront. I liked the breakfast as well.

Internet can be improved

Great Location, very nice and small hotel 15 min walk from Waterfront. Personal is very helpfull and kind. I’ll definitely stay in this hotel next time i’m in Cape Town.

It was a bit cold in the room.

Location to the V&A dock and felt very safe. No trouble walking back in the dark

Evening meal was average and noise tends to travel easily. It was ok with earplugs though

We paid to upgrade to a suite with a wraparound balcony and loved the location and views. We ate one night at the restaurant and it was good Breakfast was usually good however it wasn’t always kept hot. We were across the street from the canal and were able to walk to the waterfront in 10-15 minutes depending on route we took. We were taking a cruise and were able to walk to the cruise ship terminal which was actually closer than V and A Watery.

Carpet in room was a bit wonky. Dark but looked like it was either cleaned and color had faded or had some other issues like maybe the bathroom had overflowed onto carpet and it doesn’t look uniform.

Great location. Really good value for money. Very helpful staff.
