Beautiful establishment. Beautifully located for easy access to waterfront and all the fun stuff to do there. Spacious apartment with everything needed for a comfy stay.

Check-in staff just allocated apartment 003; which was on the last building, ground level, with not much sunlight nor best views (different from pics online). Should have been given the opportunity to choose the best apartment in the complex. *** Household was a bit slack. They did not refill coffee in the apartment. Had to ask for it plus shower gel. And wait till the next day to get it. A disappointment When i asked for other items, I was told it makes long because my apartment was far, and they were attending to other queries. I suppose I was supposed to just understand???

Re apmt Palgrave 102: The lighting was a little haphazard, and we failed to get the lounge 'mood lighting' to switch off on a few days, and the kitchen lighting was also intermittent. The lounge TV did not seem able to allow viewing of anything other than the BBC news (although no problems with the bedroom TV. It took a long time for the hot water in the bathroom to come through. The bathroom sinks need attention in regard to the lift mechanism for the plugs - unless you prized them up with your nail the water would take a long time to drain.

The V&A Waterfront is a safe location and in short and safe walking distance to the Waterfront with it restaurants and shops.

So it seems the owners of the apartments use an outside company to rent out their apartments. It appears that the best apartments are used for marketing purposes. The particular unit we had had all the basic necessities and it was neat and clean, but the decor leaves much to be desired. The fact that we had to do an EFT after the booking is also an inconvenience.

A very safe, convenient and stylish place to stay in Cape Town. We were travelling with our older teenage boys and enjoyed being able to eat out at restaurants at lunchtime but then cook for ourselves and relax together watching a film etc in the evening. The apartment was very well equipped and had lovely views of the canal and we really enjoyed being able to use the pool and gym during our stay.

Check in took about 20 mins despite already checking in online - but actually it was all security related eg checking and making copies of our passports, making us a pass each etc and so good that they are thorough with these things!

Great apartment in the perfect location! Beautiful views and easy to walk to the V&A. Very secure and serene complex, would definitely come again. Very convenient, also ordering food etc. was not a problem.

The only thing that I found very unfortunate is that when I chose the place, it said that a cot for my infant would be available on request free of charge (which was one reason why we chose it). However, when I requested the cot, we were informed that it would be 600ZAR per day - this is ridiculously expensive for the flimsy cheap travel cot they provided us with - with what we paid in four nights for the cot, they could have probably purchased this one three times. Next time, I would literally purchase a travel cot in Cape Town myself and just leave it there, that would have been cheaper... PS. The conditions have now been updated and it only says "cot is available on request" without the "free of charge" part.

Prior to arrival clear communication with information how to access facility. From arrival until departure could not fault staff- all very courteous and any request met with willing attitude to make stay only a pleasure. Stayed in two different units- one ground floor with view of water way, second unit with mountain view. Very clean , neat units and has everything that is needed ito kitchen, laundry facilities including ironing boards etc, parking on site, good security, close walking distance proximity to V&A Waterfront, air con on hot days, noticed underfloor heating (not used as visit was during hot summer). Had a rental car, parked in basement with excellent access to N1 (Winelands route) and N2 Airport.

We had a great 1 bed apartment in the V&A Waterfront complex, Handily situated at one of the bridges, so the access to the shops/restaurants of the V&A was a quite handy 7-12 minute walk. We were directly across from the communal pool/gym area which also has a great cafe which does a fantastic range of breakfast items, so that was a bonus. The kitchen and living area of the apartment is very good, as is the bedroom and wardrobe space. Bathroom towels etc were very good (not always the case, so this was appreciated). The outdoor area is also very good. The overall feeling of being secure is never better than at the Waterfront, with your access passes giving you a feeling of being 100% safe and sound once inside the complex. The housekeeping staff was a wee star also, very friendly and very good at making everything just right.

Our apartment was great overall, I'd maybe pick out the bathroom as being the weak spot. It's totally fine, but just a touch tired looking, and the shower wasn't in keeping with the quality of the rest of the apartment. The hose and shower head could do with an upgrade, and replacing the screen seal, as we were getting leaks onto the floor, until we sussed to seal the gap with a facecloth. Ground floor isn't my favourite location, I'd prefer to be higher up as passers by can see in if you don't have the curtains drawn. That said, the blackout curtains were very good at keeping the room dark for light sleepers like my wife.

A fabulous apartment in an excellent location. It was everything we wanted; spacious clean rooms and excellently appointed kitchen and wonderful views over the Marina and into the V&A. From the other side of the flat we could also see Table Mountain.(Ellesmore A 402) We wish we could have stayed longer and will book here again.

The reception check in process was painful. Nearly a full hour to check in. One of the systems was down and a security guard was reluctant to work and input details manually. I had already pre-checked in but it makes no difference as you go through it all again when you get to reception. The entire process needs to improve and requires more reception staff, particularly at a time like Dec 30 when Cape Town is known for being busy.

Proximity to the waterfront, great views, quiet, easy location for sightseeing

My first booking was cancelled due to non payment when you had my credit card details, no warning or email from yourselves ? As it was over the Easter weekend no 2 bedroom apartments were available so ended up paying for 2 x 1 bedroom apartments which cost an additional A$1,200. I hadn’t realised you had a different payment system especially after I had confirmed and had a confirmation email from you too! I’ve always settled the bill at the beginning or end of our stay with Booking.com ???

Not the easiest getting the keys and the 1st apartment and the host didn't really explain the site and amenities, didn't have WiFi or satellite tv which we expected and issues with air con. That evening had several people round and eventually the next day we were moved. The 2nd was brilliant and got us moved to the new apartment.
