The Hotel is one of its kind in terms of exterior design and interior finishing, also it has a great location and amazing staff. it was our honeymoon, so they upgraded our room and they were so generous for suite setups.

Location was great. Food was great. Staff was exceptional. Decor was fantastic. Like staying at the private apartment of your quirky designer friend. Every amenity you could wish for was there. Not inexpensive but worth every penny. Loved the rooftop bar. Only hotel I have ever stayed at that has a full complementary drinks and snacks bar. Views were wonderful ,loved all the light in the room. Furniture was exceptionally comfortable.

I stayed at the Silo for the first time in 2022 after having dinner there for a work event. I was there again for work in 2023, and finished the trip with my husband at the Silo to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. I notified the staff that it was our anniversary and they went far and beyond to ensure that we taken care of. The service is amazing. The details are exquisite. And the experience exceeds expectation. We will be back in 2024 😁

I can't say enough great things about The Silo. I had read all the rave reviews about the architecture, the service, the rooftop pool/bar before booking my stay... the last night of a milestone mother/daughter birthday trip. It was a splurge, but it was a special occasion so I booked us the Duplex Suite. I had noted the birthdays on my reservation and when we arrived we were given such a warm welcome by the staff and they said they had a birthday surprise for us (we thought it was early check in since we arrived a few hours early). We were given a tour of the hotel's common spaces (all perfectly decorated with curated pieces and local art) along with a glass of champagne but weren't prepared for our last surprise when we were walked down the hall and escorted to our upgraded room... the Royal Suite. This was easily the most luxurious of accommodations we had ever stayed in. Two beautiful rooms, two beautiful bathrooms, the interior design details, a bottle of champagne chilling and a birthday treat -- every detail was perfect. Management went above and beyond throughout our entire stay and truly made the last day of our birthday trip so special and unforgettable. If you find yourself in Cape Town don't pass up the opportunity to stay at The Silo.

The rooms were so nice we hardly wanted to leave them.

Very friendly staff; fabulous room (it was upgraded for us!), location to Waterfront and airport; feeling of comfort and care towards us from General Manager to reception staff, to lobby staff, to waiters and every staff member we dealt with. A wonderful stay.

Absolutely STUNNING hotel. The architecture is breathtaking. The decor is incredible. The art will keep you gazing for hours. Mesmerizing views of Cape Town, whichever side of the hotel you are on. Best location to stay when visiting this beautiful city with the best rooftop bar there is to offer. And then the staff. They become like family. They are incredibly attentive to your every need, well informed, incredibly professional and just downright lovely people. They are probably the biggest reason why we have stayed at the hotel six times.

Going home is always tough.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and made extra special by the friendly hotel team (Luis, Michael, Rita and Janice). You all went the extra mile to make our stay not only enjoyable but memorable.

Each of the staff members were friendly, supportive, committed. The room was wonderful. The evening in the Willaston Bar was great. The hotel is very special.

Could not find any negative aspects.

Perfect location and design. Good service in restaurant.

Food was average. I expected more attention to details. Especially during birthday day.
