Simply put - everything! Location. Property itself - beautiful, bright, modern, spacious. Stayed heading into Winter and was fabulous. Over summer it would be hard to beat, other than perhaps for the strong winds that whip against the bedrooms at night. But that could happen anywhere. Overall it was as close to a perfect place for a family getaway as one could hope for

There was nothing we didn’t like, per se. Just potential for a few easy and logical “fixes” that would add convenience. The bathrooms don’t have towel rails or hooks, which seems like an obvious oversight for such a high-end, immaculate property. Low-hanging fruit. We found the lighting in the living area to be quite dull. From the architecture it’s easy to understand why it could be tricky to install more ceiling lights, however, there should then be some floor-standing lamps, particularly in the dining area.

We took an Uber from the airport and instructions for property access were faultless. Upon arrival we were able to leave our bags at reception (luggage storage) until 3pm checkin apartment 003A ( two bedroomed terraced), relaxing canal views. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and issued us with our security passes immediately. Lawhill Apartments are in a fabulous location in the V&A Waterfront next to the One & Only Hotel, very safe and secure especially at night for accessing the Waterfront restaurants and bars by foot. During our stay we had a hire car and secure parking at Lawhill was provided (your security pass allows access / exit). The apartments are cleaned daily to a very high standard and we very much look forward to staying again at Lawhill Luxury Apartments. Excellent location. Within walking distance of the waterfront and access to many of the tours. Apartment complex safe with card access everywhere. Very clean. Excellent facilities.

The second bedroom was a little disappointing. Would have been fine for 2 adults and 2 children but for 4 adults the difference in the bedrooms was significant with no mirror in the second bedroom meaning it was difficult to dry your hair and no view.

Outstanding location. Literally minutes from the V&A waterfront, exceptional views of the canal and close to everything.

The cleaning/housekeeping was hit or miss. Coffee pods were always forgotten, soap and conditioner not placed in two bathrooms, water bottles not replaced a couple of times…nothing that can’t be fixed with a quick call to the super friendly reception…but it is still an irritation

Everything … perfect secure location for the V&A and generally visiting Cape Town. The apartment was very comfortable, the general facilities are good - gym, onsite cafe, helpful guest relations team and excellent housekeeping. We also parked a hire car on site and this was all very easy to arrange. The staff are super helpful.

We could not fault this property. It’s in a beautiful location close to the Waterfront and within easy reach of all amenities. The swimming pools were easy to find and my daughter made full use of these every morning. The property came fully equipped with everything you would need including Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Dishwasher Coffee machine. You name it and it was there.

There was nothing to dislike about the property

We stayed here for a few nights and the apartment was very spacious with beautiful views over the canal. There is a well equipped kitchen, washer dryer, plus 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet for a family of 4. Perfectly located about a 12 minute walk to the centre at the V & A. We would stay here again in the future.

The only downside is the loadshedding, which is a pain. It’s not the accommodation’s fault but it does mean that very little amenities work during that time. Our Wifi didn’t work during loadshedding. We got the times via the app, to manage our day. But it was tricky because there were 3 lots kf loadshedding in 24 hours.

Beautiful accommodation, in a stunning location, safe and walking distance to the waterfront. Perfect!

it was tricky to find the actual property, as it’s in a closed estate and the driveway goes all the way to the end and down into a Parkade and the reception is in the Parkade area. All good once you actually know where to go.

The apartment was lovely and comfortable. The view of the canals from the balcony was nice and it was just a short walk to the V&A waterfront shops and restaurants, and the views of the amazing Table Mountain.

There was no hair dryer in the room and had to get one from reception. The reception in the car park was a little hard to find when we first arrived.

Fabulous stay! The location and the ammenities were exactly what we wanted. We could walk to the waterfront and enjoy the shopping and the restaurants! The apartments were modern and beautiful with an awesome view!

It would have been nice to be able to use the blow dryer/curling iron in the bathroom with the right electrical outlet.
