Everything perfect so highly recommend this place to base yourself for a few days in CT. Wonderful staff (literally everyone), smiley, helpful, friendly. Amazing breakfast (I am a hotel owner myself and I don't get easily impressed: everything spot on and fresh, eggs benedict superb but every single dish we tasted was excellent. Nice outdoor and indoor dining area. Rooms was very good size, cleaning was excellent, bed very comfortable. Location for us worked very good, a few minutes walk to the V&A and many restaurants close by. Highly recommended!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

A small boutique hotel which was beautifully decorated in a modern style. All the staff were very friendly and made you feel safe and at home away from home immediately. The room I was booked in was very spacious, the linen fresh and clean, the bed super comfortable and had a great coffee machine. I had a view over the garden/pool area. At turn down time, there was always a small treat as a surprise, on the pillow. The breakfast was a mix of a small buffet style and the rest was a la carte. They had great gluten free pancakes! I felt pampered during my stay there!

Not the hotel’s fault but next door were having some work done and it was noisy outside by the pool. Would have preferred both sides of the shower to have opaque glass for privacy, had I been sharing the room as the shower was within a glass cubicle within the room.

Excellent location for us as we were going to a show at the DHL Stadium which was a 10 minute walk away. We could also easily walk to the Waterfront. Staff were excellent, extremely friendly and willing. Room was a good size with an enormous bed.

Parking out front is limited to 4 cars although there is additional space further along the road. It was 36 degrees in Cape Town while we were there and while the aircon worked well, there was no fridge in the room to keep water cold. There is a small swimming pool in the garden area but not heated and in shadow most of the day so very cold.

Excellent breakfast, coffee/tea and cake of the day available in the afternoon. Small bar with snacks. Great staff, very helpful and accommodating. We had 3 different rooms, the first one had trouble with light fixtures and charging devices. They gave us a new room which was perfect. We stayed 3 nights pre-tour and 1 night post tour. Both rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. There are a couple of restaurants very close and a Woolworth's. It's about a 12-15 min walk to the V & A Waterfront. If you want to explore the CBD (good walking tours and museums) you will need to use a taxi or uber. We walked into CBD (about 2 km) but I wouldn't recommend that from a safety standpoint. Better to take a taxi or uber.

We stayed at Zest for two nights and had an amazing experience. Large and quiet room with nice interior design. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. There were enough parking lots reserved for hotel guests in front of the property and the overall premises felt safe. The entire staff made our stay very enjoyable and were happy to provide good recommendations. We experienced a long flight delay that made us arrive in Cape Town one day later than planned and the staff were very supportive and thoughtful. By chance, we later stayed at their sister hotel in Franschhoek, which delivered the same level of quality.

Excellent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room has everything one would need and was immaculate. The dining room was also very pleasant. I would certainly use this hotel again and recommend it highly to friends. There were limited restaurants within walking distance, but one excellent one one block away. It really was not walkable to go to the waterfront from there, but the hotel would provide transportation. That really was not an issue for us.

I loved the location of the hotel and also that it is a smaller little place. Loved the breakfast options and coffee bar. Love love the staff!! They were all super friendly and so kind. Love the room and the view and rooftop place.

There was nothing to not like! Only little complaint was that the rooms are not very sound proof. We went to sleep early for our race the next day, and guest were particular loud and laughing going to their rooms. Which we understand to an extent that would happen, but this was a little louder than usual.

Zest is a fantastic hotel, the location and the wonderful staff right from airport pick up to being dropped off at cruise terminal days later were 5 star. Natale, Tatenda and Mercy were outstanding - Peter and Ishmal also great. We miss them all a total credit to the company. If only every hotel was as good as this the world would be a wonderful place😀 Thanks to all at Zest I miss a beer below the avocado and lime trees with the butterflies floating on the warm breeze.

What a great stay we had. Great location, access, etc. but what made it very special was the staff. Managers Natalé and Yaseen went beyond great as did Tatenda and Sange, Curtley and Chuma. Peter drove us and saved the day with his expert driving and friendliness. A wonderful experience.

Everything was outstanding. Great value for the money in a wonderful location near the waterfront. But it was the staff that made the difference. This small boutique hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and close to shops, restaurants and the waterfront.

The rooms felt spacious and were spotlessly clean. Staff were incredible: professional, warm, and they went out of their way to accommodate our complicated trip plans. The pool area is inviting and comfortable. The rooftop terrace offers a great view of Cape Town's harbor and hills. The assortment of foods for breakfast is fabulous. Convenient location to nearby restaurants, a short ride to Table Mountain, and it's within walking distance of the famed V&A (Victoria and Albert) Waterfront.

Really nothing we disliked. Construction was going on next door (December 2023), so it was noisy during work hours at the outdoor seating areas.
