Using the 19th floor lounge was a real saviour to our break, at first we had breakfast in the canteen on the ground floor which was pretty awful, then we tried the executive lounge which was excellent. Very handy for the canal cruise to the Waterfront and superb view over the harbour. Comfortable bed.

Whoever chose the musak in the lounge must have been a sadist. The assault on the ears with constant electronic drums and wailing women was pretty unbearable only relieved by moving as far away as possible from the speakers.

The location for the conference was perfect. The lifts were super fast (which for a 7 night conference stay is noteworthy). Room was very comfortable and laundry service excellent. I liked bathroom design as being quite functional and elegant. Consistent with other Westin hotels around the world for service, design and amenity.

Porters were overly enthusiastic. Breakfast could become very loud with stressed kitchen at peak times. It was often time-consuming to pay a bill at the end of service.

When talking about 5 stars hotel experience, this is it ! From start to end the staff tends to your every need. Further more, value for money, this is the best hotel we've probably ever seen. Located 5 minutes walk from the water front. Ultra fast Wifi internet .Free valet parking if you tip the awesome guys, drop & pickup car straight from the lobby. Excellent breakfast. Amazing spa with stunning views. Specious rooms. Got to mention the unbelievably fast elevators. The hotel's facilities are clean & sanitized always. We had an unforgettable time & can not wait to come back ! Highly recommend !

Not a thing

Another lovely stay at the Westin, now my go-to place whenever I'm in Cape Town. The location is ideal, the service impeccable, and the staff truly make you feel at home—welcoming you by name and always ready to assist.

I would, however, recommend expanding the late-night room service menu. After a late flight, it's always appreciated to have a wider range of options available

Position is comfortable if you have a conference in CTICC, on the other side of the road. The cost of stay is quite economic compared to European standards. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful.

There was some hair in the shower at our entrance, promptly cleaned by the staff upon our request. Air conditioning was noisy and inefficient: our room was exposed to sun in the afternoon, and it was impossible to cool it down even if we were in the cold season. Sight from the window (3rd stage) was disappointing. Walking outside is unsafe, as nearly everywhere in Cape Town.

The room was lovely and spacious. It was close to the convention center and only a short drive to the water front.

Breakfast was very limited and too sugary for my taste. The coffee machine was very challenging to run! I had to call for help to understand how to use it.

Great location in the heart of Cape Town & a stone throw from the world class V&A Waterfront. Seamless check-in & amazing staff & service. Spacious room & bathroom & super comfy extra-large double bed. Has all the facilities of a 5-star hotel. Not the fanciest 5-star hotel but something special about staying here - ambience, atmosphere & vibe. Lovely breakfast spread & highly organised despite the large crowds. Oldish but immaculately preserved.

Everything about the Westin Cape Town exceeded our expectations, the location was a 12 minute walk from the waterfront which has amazing bars and restaurants as well as up market shops. The food and service at Breakfast and Dinner was stunning served by the most wonderful and friendly staff. All staff members were unbelievably friendly, helpful and contributed to our lovely lovely holiday.

Having to leave

Ideally located between Long Street and the V&A Waterfront and connected via canal cruise. The staff were all extremely friendly and courteous. Spa facilities are great and open until 10pm. The executive lounge has a great view and food and drinks available were very good.

The outdoor pool area is quite small and next to road.

I had an early morning flight getting into Cape Town so I asked for an early checkin, which I got on arrival. Seamless checkin that by the time I was done my luggage had already been whisked to my room . Conciege service always on call and waiting to help whether it’s opening car doors ( which I enjoyed; felt like royalty 🤣🤣) and helping with shopping . I ordered room service for lunch , which was to my spec. Everyone I spoke to at the hotel was always willing to help with a smile , nothing was impossible, very solutions driven and efficient team. I’m sure if I had asked for Table Mountain to o he brought to my room , they would have tried to bring it to me 😌🤣!! Fast and stable WIFI. Quite a spread at breakfast, be sure to take your time . The Chef took his time to explain the technique behind making fried eggs and why he had to break the yolk - an impromptu lesson on cooking , which I enjoyed.Spirit of “ if I can’t do it your way, I will explain why I can’t !” . Overall experience was fantastic!
