The Wink is well located and a modern, secure building. Rooms and bed was comfortable, but not overly large. As an aparthotel, do not expect many staff to assist you as would be the case in a full service hotel, but it was very comfortable.

The included breakfast was off-site a half km away (not 5 minutes) and not pleasant during bad weather, although the staff and food were quite good. A design flaw to note if you are a light sleeper -- the room doors of adjacent units close with a thunderous boom that shakes the entire floor.

The location is spot-on in the CPT CBD and a 3-5min Uber ride to every crucial amenity in CPT. The people were great and genuinely ready to assist. For a solo traveler on a budget, I recommend the hotel without any reservation.

Sadly the coffee at the restaurant downstairs. As a heavy coffee drinker, the coffee brew and blend is something that needs improvement. But I noticed this is not unique to the hotel, but the town in general.

Location is really good. 20 min walk from Cape Town Waterfront and close to the sightseeing bus stops number 4 and 5. Recommended for couples and solo travelers, good value for money. Helpful staff.

The breakfast, It is located outside of the hotel. You have to walk one block to get to the place. I had not read this information before going. Ventilation can become an issue for some guests, as it is a small room located very high, and there are no windows to open for fresh air. The swimming pool does not seem to be used and is not really appealing for guests, in my opinion.

The breakfast was superb, friendly staff and neatness was amazing.The food was prepared as requested,and it took minimum time to prepare.

The fact that I paid very early for my stay to avoid inconvenience,and only to be informed two days before my arrival,that there's a maintenance,and I was relocated in a filthy place that is total beyond the standard of service I payed for.

quiet room, very spacious and well equipped

The check-in was messy and complicated. The parking staff are irritating & rude they need be told to ease back a little on new arrivals, we had only just arrived after a day of travelling, and the guy was pushing his face in the window, telling us we needed a permit and had we got one with us. The situation was sorted by reception who used the words "ignore him i'm in charge of him you can park there" I don't appreciate being sent 3-4 messages before i arrive which corrected some errors in the property particulars (parking not free, breakfast in another building deposit needed) get your offers correct dont take the money then tell people things are not as you advertised its unprofessional. the area around the place is uneasy to walk around at night.

Great WiFi, no loadshedding, pretty aesthetic. Very functional for my weeklong stay.

The room was a bit dirty (floors were dirty, old food stains on the inside of cabinet doors) and smelled a bit dusty. The bed was hard (though this would be a plus for others, it was too hard for my taste). Additionally, I arrived early and asked them to store my luggage until check-in and was charged $200 Rand, which seemed a bit ridiculous.

Excellent location. Smack bang in the middle of Cape Town. Useful kitchenette in the room. Coffee shop in the lobby.

Check-in could've gone a little quicker. Would have preferred the breakfast to be in the same building - it's a 5 minute walk to their sister hotel...

The property is good clean

The hotel has no restaurant of their own. You walk 15min to their sister hotel for breakfast which is unsafe and far.
