The location is excellent and staff very welcoming and it is just across the road from two very good restaurants

The breakfast in the coffee shop next door, very average, rather don't pay in advance for breakfast and find a decent place on the beach or in town. One word of caution which is not very clear when booking is that a Cash deposit of R1,000 per room must be paid on arrival to cover any breakages - you have to either pay cash, eWallet or EFT, you do get the cash back when you check out, but this is not clear when booking and may be an inconvenience to foreign tourists.....why can't the deposit be held on a credit card????????????

The property was clean, quiet and well maintained ,we had everything we need in the room

The property is clean and nice , but they showed pool on booking.com but no access to pool , they said the pool does not belong to them ,its run by a separate entity . which i found deceiving because they show the pool when advertising

The rooms are clean & are reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful. Only downside is the pool is not available & advertised with deceipt. They claim it closed for the odd function which is a blatant lie as it is sub let to a third party who locks it for the weekend . I did a bit of research & transpires staff are forced to lie about this aspect . I really dont understand why the directors have the pool advertised in a very misleading way plus the photo as number 1 photo. The place is still good value without the pool which is why i have given it a 9 score . Its not personal, just factual.

I liked that the place had an aircon and the fact that every morning they had a cleaning service. They allow you to keep your bags there before check in and after check out.

I appreciated the air conditioning and the daily cleaning service—it made the stay more comfortable. However, I was disappointed that the rooms didn’t include a microwave, which I think should be a basic amenity. Be aware of the R1000 security deposit required before checking in. While I understand the need for security measures, this felt excessive. Another issue was the strict no-visitors policy. While I respect the need for privacy and security, I think there could be a compromise, such as allowing visitors to sign in and stay for a limited time or enforcing a curfew for guests. Being so strict can feel unnecessarily restrictive. Overall, while the basics were covered, I believe the experience could be improved with a few adjustments to policies and amenities.

New modern. Comfortable. Spacious. Fantastic Location. Lovely water pressure in shower. Beautiful views of mountain and city. Friendly staff. Very secure building. Lovely bath products.

No beside pedestals. Plug point needed near mirror. Shower screen too short and floods the floor. Weird smell with windows open courtyard facing. Expensive parking.

The apartment was well laid out and designed and was very clean and comfortable. I stayed for two weeks but could have happily stayed longer. The housekeeping team were superb. Very friendly, efficient and professional. And asset to the business! The location was another big bonus!

I didn't like having to pay a deposit at check-in to cover any breakages. It made me anxious, and I was behinning to feel I'd made a bog mistake. But when I saw my room and all the great facilities, my anxiety melted. I was overcome with delight. Another negative was that some of the other guests were young and very noisy. But regardless, I loved my stay. I will definitely stay again!

Property was clean . Easy to find . Location is good with walking distance to restaurants and other places of interest . The bed was comfortable and shower hot . Aircon worked properly and cooled us down . The overall arrangement and look of the room was pretty

The check in process was horrible . We had to wait a good 30 minutes for the receptionist to check us in . I booked 4 rooms and R4000 holding fee was required . This would’ve been nice if it was communicated before-hand . The website only made mention of R1000 so assumption was that R1000 would cover all booked rooms . Upon arrival in the rooms we realised , The furniture is cheap . The microwave made eery noise when heating food . And the vanity in the bathroom was chipped

The location is amazing, corner Bree and Strand street so it's very central. The room was clean when we arrived and cleaned everyday which we loved and staff was very friendly

The hotel is situated in a busy area, which I was aware of, but I expected the rooms to be better soundproofed, especially with a nightclub right across. The noise made it somewhat hard to fall asleep. Additionally, the shower caused water to flood the bathroom floor. It also took a long time for the R1000 deposit to be refunded to my card. When I reached out to the accommodation for help, they weren’t very responsive. My banker and I eventually let the hold expire, which took a month for the funds to be released.
