Stay was awesome and staff friendly.

The restaurant was a disappointment! Food was not good. Chicken burgers was raw yet we were still charged for it. The garnish on the burgers was minimum. 1 tiny gerkin sliced in half, I get more gerkins at McDonald's. The butter chicken was extremely strong , more like curry than butter chicken. Not pleasant to eat. On our previous stay in March the food at the restaurant was amazing but not this time around. The tables also doesn't get cleaned during breakfast buffet. When someone is done they clear the dishes and immediately reset the table without wiping it. Hygiene is key!

The sun Square Cape Town City Bowl was located very conveniently in central Cape Town. My room was extremely comfortable, especially the bed where I slept soundly every night. The room was well equipped with a water kettle refrigerator, television and desk with plenty of room. I had an accessible room, which was extremely welcome with a walk-in shower and grab bars. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful and pleasant throughout my entire stay. I was especially pleased with the restaurant in the hotel. Breakfasts were luxurious, and the servers in the restaurant like the rest of the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much and would stay here again if I return to Cape Town. Visitors to Cape Town should know however that South Africa has a very unusual electric plug. It is an m type plug. Adapters are needed for nearly everyone visiting this country

I was thoroughly pleased with my experience at this hotel and have no complaints.

The location, staff, cleanliness and breakfast food was amazing. They even let us borrow 4 champagne glasses to celebrate a diamond purchase the other couple we brought made locally.

While the location, staff, cleanliness and breakfast food was amazing, it was overshadowed with some of the housekeeping rules. . Of concern was the limited water, no soaps or lotion and no face towels. It just makes no sense in a hotel of your quality and not consistent with international standards as I'm sure you know. I stay and or eat and drink in Southern Sun in Abu Dhabi and it's not like that. In fact I will be staying there and entertaining clients the first week in September. To that point I've been trying on my own to register for Frequent guest points and keep giving up for the lack of success. I've likely lost thousands of points.

The hotel was magnificent. The welcome from staff was warm and inviting. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean with bar fridge, TV wifi and a really nice bathroom. 👌 The delicious english breakfast was to die for, beautiful interior design of the breakfast and dining area and hotel in general. We enjoyed the breathtaking views of Cape Town from the beautiful rooftop chill area and amazing pool.

There was on going maintenance which was a bit of a disturbance. However, the hotel management moved us to a different room. That was fantastic and so professional.

Excellent and safe Location, 3 mins by car to the VA waterfront mall and close to Table Mountain, not very far from Camps bay (15 mins by car) Very friendly and helpful staff, and good breakfast.

The baby crib was great but needed an extra mattress as it was a bit low. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided an extra one. I needed a bit of variety in food for my 1 year old daughter. For example, I didn’t find cheese suitable her, but I found a lot of alternatives, so it was good anyway

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff and good facilities. Room had comfortable beds, nice bathroom and enough space for luggage. Breakfast was busy but staff worked hard to ensure everyone was happy. The coffee from the barista was great. There was a good selection of food.

There was a lovely pool but it closed so early, at 7pm. Considering it is Summer and people are sightseeing until late, it would have been nice for it to be open a bit later like until 8pm. It was disappointing as we were looking forward to a swim after a long day. The TV in the room didn't seem to have a signal but luckily I didn't have time for that.

We are family of 4 with 2 kids age 9 and 11. We supposed to stay at another accomodation while the host told us the booking was cancelled on the day we arrived in Cape Town and ready to check in. I was so panic and we're already so tired after a long flight but thank God I found this hotel. The reception (forgot to ask her name) was so kind and helpful. She gave us free parking since we only stayed for 1 night. The room is not big but we got everything we need. We could rest well. The view from out room was amazing, we could see the Table Mountain and the Lion Head. The room's price was so affordable and we didn't expect to get breakfast for 4 (and the breakfast was good!). Smooth check in and check out, and all stafs are friendly, we felt so safe in this hotel. This is our first time to Cape Town and we're very thankful for the hospitality.

Rooftop is fabulous ,contemporary club musuc and amazing view for Table Mountain, the restaurant downstairs offer variety of local and international food for lunch&dinner , breakfast is excellent, bed is very comfy and good size , good quality fresh linen , good parking , great location for explore Cape Town . Many international group all over the world use this hotel . Space for everyone. We went to the Cape city hall . The classical 🎶 music concert was outstanding 👌 . The stunning Clifton beaches ⛱️ 10 minutes away by Uber or car. Beautiful white sand and stunning view for the Lion head mountain ⛰️ . Stuff is very friendly and efficient.

Bathroom product is very basic and minimum.

The vibe of the hotel is amazing. Modern, with a touch of perfection. The food was incredible. We had the best appetizers at the rooftop bar, and there after the best seafood, I've ever tasted at a restaurant. Compliments to the chef. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, fresh and modern. Loved the big windows in the rooms, at night we as a family lay on the bed and looked out the of window and could listen to the city. Would definitely do this with my both of my daughters.

Would prefer if they could guide people to their breakfast table. We as a family waited to be seated due to tables that would normally sit 4 people only had 1 person at that current table. There was quite a few of them, but was sorted out immediately after we asked for assistance.

They were accommodating to me having my kids with me which I appreciated , they sent up extra towels with no issues, The view was amazing from that room , thank you so much

I paid for my child's breakfast which wasn't an issue, I was asked to pay at the restaurant which I did , on checking out I was asked about this , the lady at reception phoned the restaurant to check , I only had today's receipt with me , I had thrown away yesterday's receipt , I showed her this but she didn't seem to believe me , she said restaurant told I paid but they couldn't verify how many days , I had to open my banking up to show her , There should be better communication between them and it wouldn't hurt her to smile instead of being cold.
