Both hosts are very pleasant people and are helpful, received many city tips from them. The breakfast exceeded expectations, and the breakfast area is beautiful. One day I've had a tour so had to leave before breakfast time, so I've received a personal breakfast pack with fresh fruits, granola, and yoghurt. The rooms have enough space, comfy beds, hangers for clothes, hairdryer and mini fridge. There are sockets both usb and regular, and for regular ones there are international adapters. Shower gel, shampoo and hand soap smell mild but wonderful and are environmentally friendly.

For the rooms at the ground floor the sockets are too far from the bed, and also you could hear the top neighbors a lot. For the top floor rooms both things are covered (usb sockets from both sides of the bed and no top neighbors). Really nothing else to comment, this place is really a gem

Bayflower Guest House is an absolute gem — perfectly located for exploring Capetown, yet peaceful and quiet enough to feel like a true retreat. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and every detail was arranged for a relaxing stay. What truly sets this place apart are the hosts, Jeanne and Michael and their staff. They are all exceptional — warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure guests feel at home. Their hospitality made all the difference. They gave me great tips for my trip down the garden route following my stay. And the breakfast? Absolutely perfect — homemade, delicious, and the best way to start the day. I can’t recommend Bayflower Guest House enough. Whether you're visiting for a few days or longer, this is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

The staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The property is clean and comfortable and had everything you needed but it didn't have the Wow factor as other properties we have stayed in. There are restaurants within walking distance and a large supermarket. Walking to the V&A waterfront was easy and took about 20 minutes. You can catch the hop on bus nearby at stop 11 or 12.

Nothing not to like, our room had a very small bathroom and the water only trickled through the sink basin taps but this wasn't an issue at all.

Bayflowers guest house was a beautiful place to stay whilst visiting Cape Town. Michael and Jeanne were wonderful hosts and were extremely accommodating, especially with letting me arrive early and stash my bags so that I could head out to explore the city before my official check in time. The room was comfortable and perfect for what I needed. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer to really make the most of the host's hospitality. For a solo traveller, I couldn't have felt more secure and looked after. Thank you!

Great and safe location, wonderful breakfast (especially the homemade yoghurt and the cakes!), very clean and lovely room with super comfy beds and a huge terrace. The staff was just the sweetest, big thanks to Debbie, who really made us feel so welcome and had great advice on what to do and see in the city! We highly recommend bayflowers guest house!

Everything was perfect!

The guest house, while in a quiet and safe area, is located in Greenpoint which is a prime location in CT. Our room was spacious and had everything we could possibly need. The staff are the stars of the show though, making incredible breakfasts every day and taking care of our every need.

our room was overlooked by a block of flats as well as next to the communal area. we personally felt the need to keep the curtains closed in order to have a sense of privacy.

Fantastic guest house in a great location which is ideal for exploring the Cape. The hosts Michael and Jeanne are terrific and are extremely helpful with great local guidance. Breakfast was a real treat - most of the food is either local or home made (bread and yoghurt). Jeanne also bakes a 'treat of he day' which is always delicious. Our room (202) was excellent - large bedroom with a terrace facing the sea. The property is in a cul-de-sac and so it is very quiet. Highly Recommended

The location was great but, most importantly, Jeanne and Michael were the warmest hosts with a passion for making guests feel welcome. The breakfast times we shared with them almost as if they are family, were a highlight .

This is an absolute must. We ended our trip through South Africa there and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere in a quiet environment. The clean rooms, the excellent breakfast and the very friendly staff deserve a big 10. Debbie is a super friendly hostess who ensure an unforgettable stay.

A great place to stay in Cape Town! It is on a very good location in Green Point (a good neighborhood). The host is very kind and takes the time for you about what to do in Cape Town. The breakfast is good and also the other staff was very friendly. The rooms are really comfortable: the beds are big and the shower was good as well. Also it is really quiet, so you can really sleep well. I can really recommend this place to stay over!

Nothing I can think off.. breakfast times could be a little bit earlier (starts at 08:30) in case you have to go early, so we had to skip breakfast one day because of that, but it is a minor thing. Most important for us was to have a good room and to sleep good and to be on a good location.
