We enjoyed our stay in the Head South Lodge, it was perfect for us during our time in Cape Town. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff was always there to help and assist you. We felt safe and comfortable. Great bed and spacious bedroom. The location is perfect.

Some things to point out, not that we didn't like but important to mention: - There is no lift. - There is only 3 parking spots in front of the lodge, if they are occupied you need to look for a spot in the street, not a big problem as there is always someone in the front gate to open it and also look the cars and surroundings. - At least in our room, in the shower the glass door was missing. The shower is right in front of the place where the door should be, so while using it, the floor outside the shower can be wet.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff will cook most breakfasts for you and even made me some porridge when I wanted it. We felt we were well looked after. Breakfast was good and the beds so comfortable. The rooms were always clean and towels replaced whenever requested. The location was only 2.36 km from the V & A Waterfront so very convenient. Also lovely beach walks across the road. There is a nice small pool to cool down in when the weather is warm/hot and the patio very pleasant to sit out on. All in all, a lovely time at Head South Lodge.

We had an amazing stay at Head South Lodge. The location is unbeatable, especially if you want to explore the Waterfront or catch the red Hop-on Hop-off bus to see the city and visit Table Mountain. The entire staff at the hotel was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. Jeff, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The room was very comfortable, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’re already planning to return in two weeks, and we’ll definitely be staying at Head South Lodge again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town!

The room itself was great, we were just far back in the facility which felt a little claustrophobic, I would also have preferred a lighter room with more windows to open. The bedding was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was sparkling clean and the towels soft and super clean. The breakfast spread was made up of a good variety, covering hot and cold and healthy or classic. I ran out of time to enjoy the entire spread as I had a plane to catch so they agreed to me making a roll for my flight back. The dining room was a classic clean dining space.

The room was just a little too far back in the facility for me which made it a bit dark and made me feel a little claustrophobic, I would also have preferred a lighter room with more windows to open for the rest everything was perfect. A little pricey.

The room was spotless and well presented, hotel situated in very central nice area. Staff were very friendly, our room was always immaculate. Good idea for honesty bar, made things very easy to get what you wanted without the hassle of finding staff. Overall very good :)

Breakfast was good, not great - more for the layout rather than anything - hot food was good, there could have been a slightly better selection for brioches/ fruits. Pool/ loungers were a bit awkward to use as they're right next to people checking in and out of the security gate.

Head South Lodge are beautifully decorated and the rooms are very spaces with good linen and towels. We enjoyed the cool water of the pool in the heat of Cape Town as well as the Self-help bar was amazing. The serve a big breakfast with lots to choose from. Very nice location, walking distance from all attractions.

We had problems with the signal of the TV, the signal kept buffing. The swimming pool was full of leaves and some weed was growing in between pavers around swimming pool.

Spacious and well appointed room. Clean and well run by friendly, helpful staff. Good location for accessing sights.

Breakfast room was a little cramped and breakfast could have been more varied but perhaps most stays are shorter than our 5 nights so this wouldn’t be an issue.

Beautifully decorated property in a wonderful Location at Green point. The facilities were fantastic and above all it was the hospitality and the warm smiles of Pia and Teddy, as well as the lovely ladies, who greet you in the morning at breakfast. It truly felt like being at home. Compliments to the owners have kept this place fantastic and huge thanks to Pia who made our stay even more extra special.

I cannot think of a single thing

The room was very spacious. We had issues with the payment, and the stuff was extremely helpful to sort the issue without any problems. The room booking was kept forvus despite these payment issues and delays in arrival. The service stuff was exceptionally helpful, preparing breakfast ahead as we had planned a very early trip.

The bathroom was not separated (no doors)

The building is amazing, clean and well kept. Jeff and the staff were super friendly and made our stay Fantastic. Everything was clean and we were so lucky to be upgraded to a fantastic room. The location is perfect to explore Cape Town, especially if you wanna visit the lion s head
