We had to upgrade our room because on the Booking website it said the standard room we chose had a king size bed but in reality all standard rooms have a queen bed my partner and I need a bigger bed that’s why we chose king size bed as the option in the end we had to pay more for our room because Booking website was false information it cost us 150.00 more Canadian. We also visited the hotel dining and it was also horrible they got everything wrong drinks wrong dinner wrong and so bad that we didn’t even touch it first bite horrible food. It was a beautiful hotel resort but the wrong listing and the food disgusting but the stay and staff were good

I had an exceptional stay at your hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and professional staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The room was not only immaculate but also beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The suite that I booked was very nice. Breakfast was good. The location is great.

I didn't like that I had to continuously ask for things that were supposed to be there. The housekeeping staff forgot about towels, stocking the tea and coffee station, etc. When we reminded them, they didn't rectify it immediately. They would keep us waiting. I booked a deluxe suite for 5 days, and it cost a lot of money, so I shouldn't have had to ask for the amenities. The next time I will just book accommodation in hotels around this one, the same class of room is cheaper.

The location. Easy access to all areas in Durban. The services was excellent and stuff were extremely friendly. the room service restaurant was lovely. hotel was peaceful and good place to rest.

The beds are tough. The room set up for the price u pay isn't worth it . There's no privacy it's a open plan. especially when u eating and someone needs to use the toilet. The pool was dirty and birds kept pooping and bathing in it which made the pool not safe to swim in .

Location is great for a quick visit to Durbs. Loads of restaurants available, but no shops if you need anything. You will need to drive if you need something extra. Hotel SPA beautiful setting and worthwhile to visit. On site gym basic, but perfect if you need it. Hotel reception staff very friendly. Very nice hotel and will stay again....but won't use booking.com, as I didn't get what I booked.

Bit weird bathroom situation as toilet is not very private. They need to add panels to aid privacy. Glass doors was not good. Disappointed as I booked a Seaview months ago and on day of arrival they had me down for city view and we ended up with a pool view. Since I don't live near the sea, this was indeed very disappointing. Unsure if it was the hotel or booking.com issue.

The location was excellent for my needs and close to the beach. If you like morning exercise the esplanade outside the hotel is excellent. Safe enough to walk around and great access to restaurants

Room I was in was a bit small and toilet was only obscured by frosted glass from the rest of the room , as was the shower .

The entry into suncoast is easily accessible. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food. The room was clean and neat.

The menu at the pool is not quite suitable to pool side food. A suggestion would be to add more snack foods ie. List the sandwiches available, do some wraps or pizzas, chicken strips, nachos etc. Keep it limited but easy to eat for kids and in between swims. It would be good to add some more milk "sachets" in the room. There were 2 rooibos tea bags, 2 coffee and 2 decaf coffee, 2 brown sugar, 2 white sugar and 2 sweetners, so a possible 6 cups but only 2 milks.

Staff were all helpful, pleasant and professional. Staff acknowledged my mum's birthday which really pleased her. Staff were very accommodating to our needs with prompt responses to our requests. Daily calls to the room to check on us were really appreciated.

The open plan bathroom does not offer a private space and spoilt the overall feel of the experience. Trees blocked the sea view. Wheel Chair access was poor, with doors that did not open automatically. The system to operate the lift was annoying- should have full operating instructions.

We chose this hotel for the safety value over other factors, and glad we did. The towers are part of the larger casino buildings, so as you could imagine, there was security at every entry point and throughout the grounds. We felt very secure. We only stayed the one night and the room was adequate but small with little space to spread out even two suitcases. It was clean and functional and facilities were all there if required. The staff we very attentive and helpful. There is secured entry to the casino complex via the room swipe.

Room layout was difficult and it was a bit small.

Breakfast not what your would expect of such a well known establishment. Limited choices and long waiting lines for eggs. The chef at the egg station ran out of ingredients and did not bother to order more
