Very comfortable beds. Liked the Charlotte Reis products. The wine tasting was fantastic and very good white wine (was too hot for us for the red wine so only had white). The staff is very friendly. The room was quiet considering it was new years eve.

The hairdryer cant be used with a mirror as the plug doesnt work in the bathroom and there was only 1 mirror. Like other comments, the pool is in the shade in the afternoon, perhaps if the trees are cut out under you will get more sun by the pools as the water is a bit cold. However it was good to have a dip in the pool after a hit afternoon.

The staff are extremely welcoming and accommodating without being intrusive. The location is excellent - it's a short walk into town, making it perfect for enjoying the Wine Tram and other delights without worrying about driving. The bathroom is enormous - almost larger than the room itself - and is equipped with everything needed. Parking is off-street and secure. The swimming pool was being renovated while we were there (it being winter), but I can imagine it being the ideal place for a lazy late afternoon after a day of sight-seeing in summer.

There wasn't much privacy for the room but luckily for two of the nights the residence was quiet so we were able to open the curtains of the french doors and the side window without concern for other guests looking in.

The room (room 8 upper floor) was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Electric blanket, aircon and fireplace to keep away the cold. Nice kitchenette to prepare basics with a minibar with good mix of drinks. Shower has good water flow and even a pair of robes to wear after. Within walking distance of some nice restaurants.

Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles, fortunately not all rooms were booked so we could make a plan. Just a note to future visitors, this room over looks the hills and mountains, but also the solar panels. Fortunately they are neat so not an eyesore.

Little parking space inside the fence Room was very cold - the only heating is air conditioner and it takes time Don’t book in advance, they decrease the price closer to the dates. I lost 40 euro for 2 nights like that - chose the cheapest option in March not seeing it will be non-refundable a month before. When they deducted money beginning of April I checked the current price and was shocked that price became much lower. Booking said that the reason is that the new rate is non -refundable - just tell me the difference between non-refundable a month before and non-refundable as a new reservation at the same time

I enjoyed everything about my experience at Corner House. It was perfectly located to walk to the Huguenot Memorial Museum, as well as The Franschhoek Theatre. I could also get to the town's main street very quickly, which was convenient for starting the Wine Tram tour. The absolute highlight of my stay was the five-star service I received from Leticia. She was friendly, professional, and had so many wonderful recommendations. I visited Dieu Donné on my way out of Franschhoek as she had suggested, and the view was phenomenal. I also really enjoyed the Haut Espoir wine tasting that she hosted. I look forward to visiting again!

Lovely pool, a big room which was always cleaned beautifully. Amazing breakfast. But best of all we’re the staff who were just lovely. They were really sweet with our daughter and ready to help with anything or answer any questions. Preston also had lots of recommendations for places to eat and wine farms. The hotel is a short walk to the main street so we had the benefit of a very quiet location but convenient for restaurants and bars.

Staff friendly, helpful and ready to assist with requests. We felt very at home during our stay and could access the property on foot and had onsite parking. The residence is in walking distance from the main centre and restaurants. Franschhoek is a very safe and quiet town. The breakfast was AMAZING. Fresh and local produce, made with love. Our room was well appointed with no need to ask for anything else. Spacious bathroom with large shower and natural light.

It has a central location, the rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good.

I am a Genius 3 booking. Com and was supposed to have a free breakfast, that was not the case. The hotel says we would have a wine tasting experience there but we hadn’t. They left a bottle of wine and sprinkles next to our complimentary water so we thought that was the gift: they wanted us to pay for those at the end… of course we left their bottle but that was very disappointing and unnecessary

Location , very pretty and quaint outside , but very modern , minimalist rooms inside . Not huge room , but more than adequate for a couple of nights stay . ours was Sauvignon Blanc. New modern en suite bathroom

The bedroom window had wooden slatted blinds and unfortunately there was an outside light right outside our window , so the bedroom was lit up all night . I like to have darkness to sleep well ! The addition of a dark curtain would fix this easily !

Beautiful accommodation within walking distance of Franschhoek main street. The complimentary mini wine tasting was a great experience, especially as we were passing through without much time to visit the vineyards. Amazing breakfast and lovely pool and relaxing garden area, plus a large luxurious room well decorated with everything to hand. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend!
