From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. We were welcomed with staff waiting for us on our scheduled arrival time who helped with our luggage and showed us around the apartment's amenities. Everything in the apartment is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a cleaning service each day who helped with our washing and ironing requirements if we needed it. Fresh water was put in our fridge each day. We had no problems with the load shedding either. Everything was very relaxed with our stay. We loved the location a great deal and can't wait to rebook again for next year.

I booked 3 of the 4 apartments for family attending our wedding in Franschhoek and Le Petite Bijou provided everything they needed and more. Great location in the middle of the main street, close to cafes and restaurants. Facilities were beyond what the family were expecting with modern decor, washing machines and dryers in each apartment and a swimming pool. Easy check out which assisted with us leaving very early on the fly out day. Everyone was more than happy with the stay.

Only improvement would be that the power easily tripped when too many appliances were running but cant complain about this given power situation in SA.

Perfectly located in the very epicenter of Franschhoek. All shops and restaurants are barely in a couple of steps from the property. Specifically we were aiming at Hussar Grill — it’s very close. Two grocery stores are also available if needed. And Franschhoek Saturday market is right across the street. Nothing can be better located! It’s also run like a professional hotel. Accommodations are clean and well maintained, perfumery in the bath is not the cheapest from grocery store :) Airconditionning is everywhere + there is a fireplace with tons of wood if it gets cold outside. The owners are always in touch if anything should be needed (we were missing nothing but always got extra care). So the recommendation is — never miss Le Petit Bijou if you want to visit the SAR wine country and have a good time there.

The apartment was beautifully furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The location was perfect; easy to find and central to explore Franschhoek. Christoff and Karin were exceptional hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we were kept up to date with developments as a result of the storm damage. We were stranded for an extra day in Franschhoek and the hosts brought us food and did not charge us for the extra night's stay. Their generosity and concern for our wellbeing was greatly appreciated. They were truly awesome!

Absolutely nothing

It’s a wonderful place to stay for families.The apartment is conveniently located on the main road within walking distance to restaurants, wine tram station and supermarkets. The parking is available,but we didnt need it.The flat is well equipped with Smart TV, well ventilated with windows to let air and sun in every room.The balcony over looks the main street(only in one of the apartments) Kitchen is very good with all working appliances, utensils, washing machine, toaster etc. The bathroom is clean and tidy.Daily housekeeping was good addition. The housekeeper was very helpful throughout our stay. The host Karen, who was there to check us in ,was very friendly and communicated well. Overall a wonderful stay at Franschhoek and we look forward to visiting again!

Con- Better ensure which apartment is allocated while booking as the pictures are very misleading. Only 1 apartment has the big balcony overlooking which wasn't clear when we made the booking. Luckily,we could move (paying extra) as it got vacant. Load shedding is quite prevalent still. Host said they are planning to add inverters in the future. That would add to the pleasant experience.

Location was perfect and the view from the terrace (Apartment #1) was exceptional. Plenty of choice for restaurants and cafes. Welcome and service from the owner and manager could not be better. Throughout our stay the manager treated us more as family than paying guests. Only negative was that our stay should have been longer.

Situated right in the centre of town. The host was friendly and gave us a tour of the unit upon arrival. There is a pool and sundeck which looked very inviting but was a bit too cold to use. Then unit itself was very neat and clean.

The host explained to us that there was a problem with the main trip switch on the DB board causing it to trip whenever loadshedding kicked in. We had to manually turn it back on again which wasn't a problem if someone was around. Unfortunately we had loadshedding during the night which resulted in no hot water the following morning because the trip switch hadn't been turned back on again. Cold showers all round but not a deal breaker.

Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Furnishings were appropriate and in keeping with the apartment. Toiletries were provided as was tea and coffee. Service was daily and non intrusive. Staff were excellent and helpful. Fully air conditioned and beautiful outside space with a small pool which was heated. Location was very good with easily reach restaurants. A super place to relax

What a fabulous apartment. Beautiful decor with everything we needed. Very well stocked with kitchenware if you want to self-cater. 2 beautiful well appointed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Excellent location, a short walk to shops and restaurants. A nice swimming pool deck for a dip and secure parking. Our host met us on arrival and was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

2 flights of quite steep steps to climb with heavy suitcases. Not a problem for us but could be a challenge for some people.
