This was our first stay on a game reserve and the 'tent' we stayed in was vast, luxurious and opulent. From the wood burner to the rain showers and stone basins, the large windows overlooking the reserve it was perfect. We went on two game drives, hosted by Kai who is a font of knowledge. We saw a range of wildlife, elephants, rhinos, lions, cheetahs, impalas, hippos to name but a few. Not only did Kai educate us with facts and figures about the animals on the reserve, he also served a great G&T sun downer and unforgettable hot chocolate and Amarillo combo on the early morning drive.

The most incredible location located on a hill above the river which affords incredible views from the bar / dining area and the rooms alike. Rooms are newly refurbished with some of the best bath / shower views I've seen in a long time.

The wildlife felt a little more like a safari park (Longleat) than other private reserves I have been too, and also the spa had recently burned down. It certainly caters for the 'volume' end of the market with very large numbers of day visitors possible which detracts from the feeling of isolation. Breakfast and lunch were excellent but the dinner menu was more disappointing sadly.

This is a fantastic place to experience 4 of the 'big 5' along the Garden Route. We planned to spend just one night and to do a jeep safari, but as soon as we arrived we decided to stay 2 nights and also did 2 horseback safaris and a picnic lunch. The whole place is beautiful, comfortable and well run. The staff really care about their animals and want to show them off when they can. The Game Reserve is huge, and seeing the animals on horseback was an amazing experience. We both wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in a 'tent' lodge, which was comfortable with the 2 of us and a heater, and the outdoor shower was terrific! The food in the restaurant was excellent too.

It's not inexpensive, but it is worth it!

This place is a dream. We booked the deluxe tented suite and it did not disappoint. The outdoor shower, balcony, fireplace, bed, layout, everything was perfect. The game drives were amazing and we saw 4 out of the big 5 in 2 days!!! The massages were absolutely incredible. Thanks to Collen for looking after us and Mandela for the informative and entertaining game drives. Angelique and Maria at the Spa were amazing. The staff are amazing and make your stay very comfortable.

Location, location, location!! Horse riding safari, on other safaris our guide Mandela was outstanding.

The table reserving by numbers in the inside dining area was crazy - just do it all on first come first served! Disappointed at wasted energy eg lights on in bright sunlight and amount of plastic packaging used

I had an amazing stay at [Hotel Name] in [Location]! Despite the winter cold, the room was cozy with every detail thoughtfully designed. The hotel's atmosphere was inviting, and I loved the activities like the safari and horse riding – they were totally my vibe. A monkey even visited my balcony, and the view with all the animals was incredible. Highly recommend for a unique and enjoyable getaway! حلال كل فلس عليه، الفندق ولا غلطة.

The food was good, but there weren't many options.

The location was perfect in near driving distance to George airport and several golf course. This is Important for people who are staying longer and don’t just want to go on game drives. Beautiful setting overlooking the stunning landscape. Food was very good and reasonably.Staff was very friendly

The spa seemed badly run. The pool felt oily and there was a film on the pool edges.when we asked if we could use the showers and sauna we were told that the shower facilities were only for guests who had treatments and we needed to go into the adjacent gym building for a shower. The saunas were turned off and apparently needed to be booked. The staff were ready clearing up at 4.30 preparing to close at 5 pm. Most people who want to use the spa would like to do so after a game drive when arriving back at the lodge at 6pm.

I had one night in the suite for our honey moon which was cool. I had a safari trip in the afternoon and saw 3 out of the big 5 animals. The next day I went on the horse ride safari both were extra charge which I enjoyed alot. The foods were good ,and staff were helpful.

I was a bit pricy considering everything need to bay for but was a good experience.

The Safari trip was nice , not that much animals to see, if you book a trip make sure to your guide is Simba 🫶🫶 Also i would like to thanks for the free room upgrade ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My room was far, and when i call to ask for a golf car the answer was its not for guests just for the luggage, the person answerd me was rude, The water pressure in the bathroom was a little bit low Next time I will book a trip without an accommodation.

Being a bit elderly, some steps to get into the game drive vehicles would have been helpful. We were fortunate tgat we were at the tpp of the hill butbour friends accomodation no,11 was at the bottom. Some warning of the steepness on the website might be appreciated.
