The rooms were very nice and the staff was super helpful and nice whenever we had questions or problems. They spoke very good english. Inside the hotel there is a convenience store where you can buy drinks or ramen to eat in your room, since each floor has a refreshment area (microwave, hot water, etc). The location isn’t exactly the center of Myeondong, but is bordering it, saving you from the noise and crowds. They have different pillows in case you don’t like the one they put by deffect.

We spend a bit extra money to have a higher quality room with views to the city. Our views were a construction site which started at 6:30/7 am. When we asked to lower the category of the room to avoid the noise and having the shades constantly closed they only offered us to pay even more, since the hotel was almost fully booked. It was disappointing and we ended up having our curtains closed all the time and wearing ear-plucks. Avoid the Sky Double Room…

It was a lovely hotel in a great position.

We stayed in a couple of different rooms because we extended our stay in Seoul. In one room the heating was stuck on 27 degrees and the staff couldn’t reduce the temperature and sent us a fan and told us to open the window. The power point where we needed to plug in the fan didn’t work. This also was a problem for charging phones etc.

Incredible location, friendly staff and comfortable room. I stayed here for 17 nights and would highly recommend the Nine Tree Hotel in Myeongdong (and their other hotels in the city). THE ROOM My room was exactly like the image I saw online, was pretty spacious (with a couch, desk and small circular table) and had a smart toilet in the bathroom (fit with a bidet). A bit random but I loved the brand of toiletries used here (leave your shampoo and conditioner at home), the shower had great water pressure and everything was clean. The bed was also really comfortable. My only note of feedback was that my room wasn’t soundproof. I could hear other guests talking/ laughing regularly. WIFI & FACILITIES I chose this hotel because of its location and because it had a coin laundry facility. Neither disappointed. :) Coin laundry is on the basement level and I never had to wait to use washing/ drying machines. They accepted cash or card and were easy to use. Strong WiFi throughout my stay. On my floor, there was also a station to use a steamer and microwave which was useful. LOCATION Myeongdong is a great location for tourists to stay—in general—but I really loved how close this hotel was to numerous stations (12 or so min, maximum); making it easy to catch various lines. It’s also a short walk away from the Myeongdong Shopping Street which transforms into a street food market each evening. There are loads of restaurants nearby and a handful of convenience stores. CONVENIENCE STORE Speaking of convenience stores, there’s one (G25) on the ground floor of the hotel! It made picking up a snack or drink, charging transport cards, etc very easy. STAFF Everyone I met was professional and friendly.

The room was spacious, quiet, comfy and with very nice views. The location is perfect to visit Seoul as a tourist. The convenience store downstairs open late very convenient.

Do not take breakfast at this hotel. I repeat, do not take breakfast. We got the "breakfast included" option as part of the booking (in spite of reading the bad reviews about it), and it was so disappointing we did not even go on our second day. The choices are very limited, and most items are gone quickly with no effort from the hotel to restock the food stands. We really liked our room, but as for breakfast other hotels in the same price range offer much better breakfast.

The staff is very helpful at reception, also room is clean and location of the hotel is very convenience. Good facilities, we could able to do our laundry after our long day. 24/7 laundry service and locker service are bonus! we also like the 24/7 convenience store on GF also very handy. We will be back to this hotel when we visit Seoul again.

it would be good if there are more room for putting luggages in the room. as we have 3 people for our room with 3 large luggages, there are not enough space for us to put and open our luggage, we had to open one as a time.

Clean, efficient. English was not a problem. It was close to a bakery across that had an amazing assortment of bfast choices. You don't even have to avail of the hotel bfast. We walked all the way from the hotel to the Namsangol Hanok village then walked towards Namsan tower. Myeongdong high street is within walking distance. Hotel bed was comfy and shower facilities amazing. We parked our luggage downstairs in a locker as our flight was in the evening.

Its biggest strength is the position, close to Myeongdong pedestrian area without being too chaotic, close to a lot of attractions in Seoul and close to public transport. In addition to that you have also a good convenience store on the ground floor. The room was also quite spacious. Generally the staff speaks good English.

Room does not feel a lot like a 4-star hotel (in the details and in the maintenance) and it was also quite cold, despite our room being not even a basic one. There is not a true “hall” in the reception or in any other space in the structure where you can wait if needed

Hotel organized a taxi and we were charged three times what kakao taxi app was estimating. Other times it was about double the rate of what kakao taxi app was saying but to be charged three times the rate it was just unreasonable and we initially thought getting a taxi through the hotel reception would avoid instances like this.

Location - 5 min walk to Euljiro 3-ga station (Exit11 / Exit 12 (with escalator)) and about 10 min walk to Chungmu-ro station. Walking distance (around 10 min) to Myeongdong shopping area and many restaurants nearby. Direct airport limousine bus no. 6015 and alight at Euljiro 3-ga exit 12 station There is also a convenient store (GS25) within the hotel and many coffee places nearby. Room was spacious and clean.

Breakfast - to provide more varieties as we are seeing same cooked food daily. Coffee machine is unable to dispense warm milk.

The location was ideal for us since we have a 1-year-old traveling with us. It was nice and quiet. There were a lot of coffee shops, cafe, and restaurants nearby with a cheaper price compared to myeongdong area. It was about a 10-min walk from our hotel to myeongdong night market. The staff in the front desk was very nice and approachable and they can converse in English, so communication was not an issue.

The room space was big but we did not get the city view that we were expecting for the amount of money that we paid. We availed the buffet breakfast once, the food was okay but the staff were not that polite. The cleaning of the room sometimes is not that clean, i guess it depends on who cleans it.
