The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. Its within easy walking distance to the major sites in Seoul, as well as very close to the metro and bus lines and right across the street from a small convenience store. The area was quiet at night and felt very safe. The room was spacious and lovely. We read that there were some issues with the shower and toilet being in the same room, and requested a room with seperate toilet and shower. The room was wonderful, modern, and clean. Both of the lounge areas were very nice, as was the rooftop area. There was also a laundry room (with available laundry soap).

Its a quibble, but we needed to request room cleaning the day before. That could have been due to the time we requested it (9:30 am), but it would have been nice to have same-day cleaning. We did, however, really appreciate that fresh towels and water were left outside the room every day. There were a couple of broken tiles in the shower that could have been replaced, and a screen could put on the window to allow it to be left open. Breakfast was not available. This would be nice; however, the convience store across the street did have a variety of foods available and the hotel does have two areas where you can microwave your food and eat.

I was surprised by how nice this hotel was- the room was clean and spacious, there was a cute lounge area on the roof, and it’s not too far of a walk from Myeongdong or Jongno areas. The staff was friendly and the service was great. Thanks for a great stay!

They have free laundry BUT only one washing machine and one dryer, so cross your fingers that no one else wants to do it- or go to a local laundromat.

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the metro station and important locations of Seoul. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Sometimes the room smells bad.

We traveled in June. The hotel is very clean. The bed sheets and the room itself was tidy. The aircondition (even the dry mode) turns off automatically, when you leave the room, so when you come back, the room might be a little hot and humid. Also the hotel has a beautiful view from the roof, and also you can relax in a reading lounge area. We didn't use hotel's laundry room, but since it's free of charge, I guess it is super cool and useful for others.

I'd prefer that the hotel has at least some rooms with a big size of bath tube. We had only shower room, but the bathroom was very clean too.

We liked the location of this hotel - between Insadong and Myeongdong. It was easy to walk many places and the subway and buses were also close by. The airport bus is also very close. I understand the rooms were larger than some in Korea and we appreciated having chairs in the room and plenty of space for our luggage. They were clean and comfortable and our bathroom had the shower and toilet in separate rooms. Our kids had it all in one and was a bit inconvenient - you might want to request a room that has the toilet and shower separated. The Wi-Fi was excellent. We were there in winter and the rooms were plenty warm, if anything, a bit too warm at times. We liked being able to open the window. The staff was friendly and we used a translation app to communicate with them. While they do not offer breakfast, there are lots of places around to eat. We were regulars at Isaac Toast, the dumpling/donut place next to that and the fruit stand next to that. We would bring it all back to the lounge to eat. I would stay here again.

We had rooms on the lower floors so the view was of the wall or the rooftops. The window in our room and in the hall way did not seal well. So we had smoke coming in our window and the hall window was letting lots of cold air in. Wish they had breakfast, but we figured it out.

The location was good as the Jongno 3-ga subway station, which is an interchange for 3 lines, is only a 2-minute walk away. The exit was one of the few at the station with an elevator, so that was helpful as there are many stairs in a Korean subway station. The room was not exceptional in any sense, but functional and clean.

The deluxe room had 3 separate rooms for the toilet, shower and bath, which seem quite a waste of space. Room could be brighter - too dim for my liking.

The staff were always happy to help and answer any questions I had about the surrounding area and even transportation. Even when we had a problem with our bathroom they offered us a room change. The hotel is also in a great location being walking distance to 2 train stations. You are able to access the green, orange, dark blue and purple lines. This made it very easy to get around Seoul without having to transfer trains. CU convenience store is also right outside the hotel and a pork bbq. There are many food options around the hotel. It is also a 10 minute walk to Ikseondong and a 5 minute walk to Insadong. One station away from Anguk which has many popular cafes and restaurants. Gwangjang Market is also a 10minute walk.

The only thing that I didn't like was the heating in the room. (went in winter). The floors and the room were always extremely hot even after adjusting the floor settings. You cannot adjust the room temperature. I found myself having to turn the aircon on and have the window open (-5 degree) to keep the room cool.

I liked the price of the property, it was very reasonable, the property itself is good in size and all facilities are in good condition.

Overall, the stay was pleasant, but there are a couple of things that could be improved. The shower curtain had an unpleasant smell after getting wet — it might be worth replacing or washing it more frequently. Also, the ventilation fan in the room was quite noisy, which slightly affected the comfort.

We loved this hotel, specifically because the location was so close to everything, the alleys surrounding the hotel were filled with locals so you get a more authentic experience, and the hotel itself is really comfortable. The concierge were incredibly friendly, the bed was comfy, the room was huge by Asian hotel standards, and the area itself felt super safe.

There's nothing I didn't like per se. But Western travelers might not love the bathroom concept that's one open concept room. I loved it because it's pretty standard in Korea, and that's the experience I came for. Just buy some flip flops for the bathroom if it bothers you. I did notice a little bit of mildew around the sink that could use a little bit of a scrub.
