After reading so many bad reviews about Los Olivos we were worried about this place. But it EXEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS and it was a pleasent surprise! Everything was perfect! First of all the check in was at 03.00 pm but they gave us the room earlier without extra charges, that was realy nice after such a long trip we were exhausted, after that we enjoyed free welcoming drinks at Margaritas rooftop. The room was large and bright, all the facilities we needed were already in the room. The location was perfect- close to the beach and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable, the room was super clean and there was a large balcony, qute place for a good night rest. We were stayng only 1 nigt but we made a reservation for another 3 nights! See you soon Los Olivos :)

What's not to like?

We stayed 2071 gold apartment. I was a bit concerned after reading it reviews, but we had a really nice stay. Didn't see any cockroach as previously mentioned in reviews. Our apartment was very clean and cleaning lady came almost every day. She did a great job. Breakfast was amazing. We always get a table to sit even the hotel was fully booked. It's a little bit hilly but it wasn't problem for us. Location perfect for everything beach, shops, restaurants. Great views from roof terrace one side mountains and other sea. We definitely would return to this hotel! Thank you so much for great stay!

1.Our Apartment was with a roof terrace, but only had one sunbed. We mentioned in reception 3 times about it but still didn't get second sunbed. It should be two sunbeds per apartment. 2. Pillows wasn't comfortable at all.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom silver apartment. It was a nice touch to arrive to bottles of cold water left in the fridge and coffee pods beside the coffee machine.The apartment was very spacious with a lovely private terrace.(We could’ve done with a clothes horse to dry stuff outside).The kitchen had everything we needed except for a toaster but we had breakfast included which we took advantage of most mornings.The cleaner came every day with clean towels and a sheet change one of the days.Never any trouble getting sunbeds and the pool was warm. The location was absolutely perfect for the beach,shops and restaurants.Definitely hope to return next year.

Our room was 1118 and was situated right beside the gate used for deliveries.The gate was constantly banged shut every single morning it was so loud I could even hear it through my earplugs :( Maybe a soft close mechanism would help!

The facilities, the location and the food were excellent. I enjoyed using the gym every morning and the very short walk to the beach. The parking discount came in handy too.

Some of the reception staff were unwelcoming and rude, whilst others were really friendly. Some customer service training would be useful and it gave me a bad vibe upon arrival.

The location was excellent- close to everything. The resort was clean and well laid out.

The breakfast. It was difficult to navigate the buffet in a dark & gloomy location. the gluten free bread was truly awful. The staff were not helpful. One morning was enough- I didn’t have breakfast there after that.

Fantastic location, so close to everything. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers/young athletics adults who eat alot! We went half board, breakfast and dinner. It worked very well. Breakfast was lovely, loads of fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals, breads and meats/cheeses, bacon, sausages, eggs etc and freshly cooked crepes every morning. Dinner was very good, different choices every night. Great value for money. Great facilities, very spacious appt. 2 ensuite bedrooms so we had 2 showers, fab rooftop, balconys, lovely pools, gym etc

Great Location v close to Beach, Bars & Restaurants. Loved the private rooftop area for sunbathing with nice views of sea.

Not a very nice welcome from Pablo at reception on arrival he was quite rude. He would not allow us to check in till 3.30 even though it said 3pm check in and despite us emailing to ask for earlier check in as we were on very early flight. Shortage of beds at pool too. Also towels weren’t changed after 3 days so we had to ask for clean towels at reception.

We have been coming to Los Olivos for many, many years and always enjoy our time here. We use the Los Olivos property as a base as there isn't very much on the site, e.g. restaurants, entertainment.

The apartment was advertised as a one bed Gold, luxury apartment. This is not accurate. It was very basic - certainly not luxury. Although the apartment did have everything we needed, it was very basic. Breakfast was served in the site next door which was too far to walk for one member of our party, an inconvenience to say the least. I felt the property was over-priced. I would advise people to be aware of the non-sterling transaction fee Booking.com charge when taking payment for the property.

The resort was clean, there were a lot of pools and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The room’s door was a bit hard to open and close, we had to shut it really hard and that could have been noisy and annoying for the guests around us. There was a weird smell coming from one of the wardrobes, so we just used the other one. The restaurant had a buffet with a lot of different types of food, but there were some days where we didn’t like most of it. The area the resort is at doesn’t have a lot of choices for nights out for young people, but it’s good for families and couples.
