The staff member who checked me in (I'm sorry, I'm unable to remember her name) was courteous and over-the-top helpful. She represented the hostel very well and helped me, a solo traveler in a foreign country, feel very welcome and safe. My lost backpack, which was very important as I planned to begin my pilgrimage on the Camino del Norte the following day, was finally located by the airport shortly after I'd gotten settled at the hostel; when the call arrived, this same staff member communicated with the Lost Luggage person, gave me good advice on how to retrieve my backpack, and was extremely kind to the soggy mess of traveler I'd become when the tears of relief sprang forth. Please give this staff member a raise, as it's truly well-deserved!

Location (not so far from the downtown), security, amenities, good Internet signal, hot water.

When some people use the hostel as "house" and they aren't travelling is very annoying. They feel like they own all the dormitory and they have a lot stuff around and get mad if you ask for you OWN space that you pay!! So I didn't like that when I stayed there. You shouldn't allow this kind of thing, they can rent their own room if they are not going to be polite with the other people using the dormitory.

Very good location, a very good price for what I got, helpful personal both English and Spanish speaking, cleaning every day in the room's bathroom (I spent 6 nights here, cleanliness important for me, got it). There is a bus stop right below the window of my room, though I can sleep with earplugs very well. I did not hear anything from the train station next street. Supermarket in the same building. Early check-in (2pm). Reception all day long (9am -9pm). Free cafe, hot water (tee limited, off).

There is no stove in the kitchen for real cooking, therefore the only one microwave is sometimes blocked for long time as guests cook their food there. Would be nice to have at least one more microwave. Putting labels onto the food in the fridge would bring more organised and higiene.

The location, price and hostel itself has everything you need for spending a night (or more).

It would have been nice to have a room door that closes (the door was not closing (broken) so no code was needed, which means whoever could enter). Also, curtains in each bed would have been a very great plus.

The hostal have a good distance to the Guggenheim museo (1,2 km), to the old city (1,2 km) and to the busstation. Each room has an individual keycode. The bed was good and not noisy. The kitchen is only basic equiped. Coocking is not possible. But there was a microwave.

For pilgrems or hiking: There was a possibility to wash clothes by hand. But there is no place to dry the clothes.

First of all I really like the rules and actually people were following them: no light's in the room after 11pm, talking by phone etc. People were more less respecting each other, so nothing was really interrupting my sleep from the side of my roommates (except last night when 2 respectless guys moved in but that's a different thing). The rooms were let's say spacious (as for 6 ppl room), the windows had blinds. Cleaning ladies were cleaning everyday. There was a coffee and tea in the kitchen which was really nice. The living room was also spacious. I appreciate the immediate reaction of the receptionist when I told him about troubles with 2 guests (they were behaving really bad and loud at night, and the receptionist immediately reacted). The location was good, because it was pretty close to everything, Plaza Nueva also markets (lidl, carrefour, bakery and groceries). But actually it didn't feel so safe there.

The lack of proper electrical outlet in the rooms (I had to charge my phone in the living room) was a big minus. The windows are to the busy street so it is a bit loud and the light is coming from the street lantern but with the blinds it was okayish. The biggest minus was that they didn't have the padlocks for the lockers, I had to go to the city and search it while my stuff was in the hostel not locked. Also, they let me leave my stuff after the check out but didn't provide any safe space for that, you can leave your luggage just for your own responsibility in the common space. The private bathroom was a plus but at the same time it's a minus when it's only one for 6 people and you have to wait until somebody leaves it. Could also get a hairdyer!

The location is good, quieter area but close to the center. The rooms are very clean, you need to make your own bed but that's good. The staff is friendly and attentive.

The rooms should have two bathrooms or the toilet should be separate from the shower. Because sometimes someone was taking a shower and other guests couldn't use the bathroom.

No communication anout checking to-yome limit. Arrived late absolutely got stuck. NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE posted on the door. 0 sound isolated from the outside street Woken up ew times by human life-noise.

It´s close to the centre, clean, good mats and spacious room with own bathroom, in the morning there is free tea - you can make it, the kitchen is well equipped

They din´t answer my questions about late departure - I came around midnight - in the end they send me the entrance code - but it was on the day of my arrival and I was really nervous before because I didn´t know if I will be able to enter the the hostel so late.

The location is a short walk into the city center and right next to a bus stop that takes you to the central station and a short walk to the train station. They have free hot water and coffee all day and the bathroom is in the room. The rooms have A/C and a window, so you could pick which one you wanted to use. They also have lockers, but no locks.

They close the kitchen area at night and the Wi-Fi is very weak.
