Location is fabulous Facilities are very clean Breakfast was decent, especially given the low cost

Did not like that we reported a sink that would not drain on Sunday and it had not yet been fixed on Wednesday when we left. Did not like that we stayed four nights and did not get any change of towels or linens (even though their policy is every three nights) Did not like that we had to go buy our own toilet paper- that there was only one roll given.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The place is clean and room is modern. The air conditioning worked well. There are nice common areas to use and I appreciated the clothes-washing room although it was often full and I had to visit it many times. Fortunately some kind youth helped me out with it.

My main complaint is noisiness: while the walls are advertised as soundproof - which is probably true because they didnt let sound through - the doors are not. My last two nights, the hallway had a lot of students making noise, banging my door by mistake, talking in the hallway, slamming their own doors at 1 am waking me up. I cant recommend the place for peace and quiet due to this. The elevators took sometimes a long time to come to the upper floors. A minor thing; there was no hand soap in the room. Sure there were little shower gel tubes but those are difficult to use for washing your hands quickly.

The location, close to all public transports, room was nicely decorated, slept well, lots of plugs, good aircon and well lit.

Lack of kitchen equipment such as no bowls, not enough utensils, no washing up liquid or sponge, no glasses, no tea towel. The kitchen is just a microwave rather than a “kitchenette”. Communal kitchen is only an oven with one tray, no cutlery or plates. Floor was slightly dirty in the room when we arrived. We didn’t receive any room service throughout our stay. Reception didn’t give us information ref what floor communal areas were on, where the balls for the pool table were or the location of the washers etc. we checked in online so they handed us a key and we were left to it, no additional information given when checking in online. We did remove one layer of the sheets on the bed due to being marked.

The room was very clean and very well equipped, with a good bathroom and mini kitchen space; the air-con was appreciated too, as it was pretty warm during my stay. For city centre student accommodation, it was surprisingly quiet, and I didn't really hear the street noise at all from my room on the 11th floor. The location was very convenient for onwards travel, as it's literally right on top of the bus terminal (and there's a metro station nearby too). The staff were also very helpful and quickly resolved a minor issue I experienced with my booking.

The room was great. My only complaint would be that the air-con was a little noisy.

Location. Cleanliness. Facility.

The check-in process was long and strange. Prior, we were suggested so many times by e-mails to check in online. We did it. A barcode was issued with the idea to save time and go straight to the room. At the arrival, there was no code reader at the door. The receptionist opened the door and started verifying everything again, asked us to pay. We told him that we paid already at the electronic check-in. He did not want to scan the bar code and made some phone calls. It took us forever to receive the keys. We had to show him a bank transaction for him to believe that we paid. Strange experience.

The location is excellent with the bus station right next door so very easy to visit surrounding towns, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The San Mames football stadium is also nearby with some small restaurants and grocery shops for food. The rooms are also very quiet - not sure if most of the students were doing exams or have finished for the year. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay there again next time I visit Bilbao.

The washing up liquid is provided in sachets and only 2 were provided for my stay of 7 days. They should provide the liquid in a little plastic bottle and would also be good if they provide some form of hand-wash soap in the bathroom. Everything else was perfect.

The accommodation was situated in a great location, a stone's throw from the main bus station (intermodal) and metro (San Mamés). You could travel practically anywhere in the city from there, even the airport shuttle stops right there. You can enjoy a spacious terrace (or bring your dinner there), play pool, play table tennis, ... great value for a "budget" option.

The breakfast consists of a piece of fruit, a croissant, a bun with cheese/salami, a glass of juice, a cup of tea/coffee, you can also have a toast with margarine and/or jam. Certainly doable for a day, but generally gets repetitive and lacks more variability. But again, it's not a 5-star hotel, it is a university accommodation for students - keep that in mind.

Furniture. It has 2 desks and one foldable dining table. Plenty of space for two people to work from their laptops. It has mini fridge (I'd say quite spacious one), electric stovetop and a microwave. Bathroom is suitable for disabled people: it has a handle near the toilet, chair in the shower cabin. The shower cabin has foldable walls. 2nd floor has lounge with terrace, one pool table and two ping-pong table. Also a couple of coworking rooms and a gym (gym has a bench, a couple of 20kg bars, a couple of threadmills and one cable machine). Haven't used any of them tho.

Would be nice to have a small piece of soap in the bathroom.

Good sized room. Laundry facilities and patio/lounge on another floor. Kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Quiet. Very close to Bilboa bus and train station.

Had a kitchenette including a cooktop but no equipment to use it (no pots and pans, no silverware, only 1 small plate, bowl, and cup). Group kitchen on 2nd floor was no better. A fair distance (30 min walk) from Guggenheim and Old Town.

The location is great, right above the bus station and very close to the San Mamés metro. It was very convenient for traveling around Bilbao and for day trips. The room was small, but it was clean and had its own bathroom with a shower, a small fridge, and AC. There is also a common area with a kitchen, a terrace, some vending machines with soft drinks and snacks, as well as a gym. The staff was nice, and it was easy to check in and check out. We arrived early, and it was possible to leave our luggage before check-in.

Although the beds were comfortable, the lack of proper linen was irritating. The quilt was wrapped in two sheets. The room was cleaned every three days; however, each time, they threw away unfinished complimentary shower gel and shampoo, which I consider unnecessary waste. The Wi-Fi required logging in with your name and surname every 24 hours. For an iron and hairdryer, you needed to go to the reception. And although the wardrobe was large, there were only three hangers.
