Great location very close to the historic city centre. There was parking nearby -€19 per day. The hotel has been extensively modernised but done with taste and style. Our room was comfortable with a spa bath and shower.

Our room had no view at all and only two small Velux windows. For this price we expected more. The restaurant was a huge disappointment. We were put in a small cold and gloomy room with only three tables. The menu was limited, the food poorly cooked and presented. For Spain the wine list was expensive. We were the only customers. I felt sorry for the friendly and efficient waitress. However there are three great restaurants within fifty metres.

The location was excellent and the small boutique hotel was full of character , small and inviting . (We don’t like large commercial hotels with large lobbies and heaps of people ) so it was perfect

We thought it strange the reception had no local recommendations and redirected us to the local tourist office . It just wasted our time finding the office and we are older and have walking issues , much easier to be recommended local places to go on arrival . I had to ask for a map one wasn’t automatically given to us However the staff were very helpful in all other ways . We asked for extra pillows which were no problem . How ever we hated the old lumpy doona / duvet / quilt which although was clean was obviously washed many times . At this price it wasn’t a good impression. However we got a brand new bouncy one when it was changed . It was just a shame not to have had the new one in the beginning.

This is a lovely property very conveniently situated within the historic area of Salamanca. Our room was lovely and well-appointed. The staff were friendly and kind. We were sorry not to be able to eat in the restaurant as it was fully booked when we arrived, then closed. Breakfast was served at the table and was plentiful.

The bar seemed to be closed on two out of the three evenings we were there. The lounge area was lovely but seemed under-utilised.

Ideal location in the old town. Easy walk to all the attractions and sites. Loads of bars and restaurants close by. We parked the car easily in front of the hotel and the staff parked it for us. We didn't need the car during our stay as everything was an easy walk.

Whilst the room was beautifully decorated we had no room to open our suitcases (and we booked Superior Double)

The hotel doesn’t have a garden and is situated roadside. The photos could be make this a little clearer

The hotel seemed very well run, was very clean, in a great location. Our room was lovely and very comfortable.

We had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant, we asked for our meat to be ‘well done’ and it was raw, unfortunately this was inedible for us. The hotel staff were apologetic but seemed not really bothered.

This property was elegant, quiet, remarkably decorated, exceptionally clean, perfect location and the service was quite extraordinary. We have stayed in some very fine hotels, including Ritz, Four Seasons and Peninsula hotels. These hotels should each send their staff to study what exceptional service is by sending them all to learn from the staff at the Grand Hotel Don Gregorio. The attention to detail at every level, from the decor, to cleanliness, to room turn down service to overall service is really the best we have experienced anywhere else we have traveled in the world.

there is nothing at all that we did not like about this property.

The hotel is located on the edge of the old town, it is a 5 minute walk to the centre. We had a room in the back of the hotel which meant no view but it was quiet.

Just one very small thing: if you do a turn down service on the first night maybe try and keep that up for the other nights as well?

Great building in the heart of everything. The staff was very friendly and professional. This is a steal for the rate they charge. For that level, we paid twice that much. Breakfast was fabulously over the top. So, so worth it!

So comfortable & beautifully furnished. Great location for walking to all the interesting parts of the old city. Molten Brown toiletries was nice too!

I would have liked a kettle in the room and the ability to make a cup of tea (but I am English so of course I would!)
