Fantastic quirky design. Gardens well kept. Very large place. Various pools including heated indoor. Spa good, breakfast amazing choice. Best room / apartment we had in years. Top quality beds with seperate second bedroom with own facilities that the kids loved. Their own hideway connected to the main rooms through our very private garden.

You definitively need a car on the island. Sure there are things in walking distance like the beaches but for anything else a car is recommended especially when its hot.

The breakfast buffet and, in special the dinner concept one day with a regional/international cuisine and then another day with a menu with soap, starter, main dish and final dessert, really well done; very silent location and plentiful of space in the swimming pools when not so windy. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception, buffet, bar and cleaning service; outdoors with very beautiful landscape and gardens, typical for the region.

Old style gym and equipments, needs some upgrade with better kettlebells and dumbbells, and some olympic bars and appropriate clipping for the disc weights; Quite small parking, during high-season might be an issue; inline telephone in the room did not have any instructions how to call reception, cleaning or for any emergency issue, really lack on details from management for such level of price, there must always be an table listing main internal telephones and how to call other rooms! Only first bottle, then the mini-bar does not have any still filterer water as courtesy;

Genuinely this hotel is fantastic. The staff were a major highlight, we had a lady and a man who’s names we sadly didn’t get on reception and they were LOVELY! So nice and smiley. The rooms look amazing on the pictures and they’re just as nice in person. The breakfast is great, I can’t count how many crepes I probably ate haha. The location might not be for everyone, its about an hour from more central Fuerteventura (€80 for us in a taxi one way), but we loved it cause it was quiet, hardly any kids, but equally some great restaurants and bars on the doorstep, just an ideal couples getaway location. Be aware though: there is a beach on the doorstep where 60% of occupants are nude, didn’t bother us but we did get a bit of a shock hahaha!

The hotel is a perfect place for rest and relaxation. The food is good, especially the breakfast. The room was large and comfortable, the beds excellent. The private outside area each room enjoys is brilliant. The biggest plus, however, is the staff. Friendly, helpful and professional. Be it the reception staff, the restaurant waiters, cleaning staff or maintenance, everyone had a smile and willingness to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Nothing, really. Some wear and tear that wasn't even worth calling maintenance for. Having a fridge with a small freezer - just for icecubes or so - would be nice, though.

The perfect location for a small family getaway. Most of the clientele at the hotel are older couples. If you're looking for partying and nightlife, this isn't the place to go. If you want a relaxing vacation with great food and amazing views, look no further than Risco del Gato and Costa Calma! Restaurant Terraza del Gato adjacent to the hotel is 10/10.

Could have had more pescatarian, vegetarian + vegan options at breakfast. Some staff outside of reception and kitchen don't speak any English but thankfully I know some Spanish. Outdoor pool is very cold but the indoor heated pool is perfect.

The suites were exceptionally cozy and very intimate! I loved that whatever we were doing it always felt like we were home. Coming back to the hotel after a long day was always a pleasure. The food was pretty tasty too. A huge variety both for breakfast and dinner. The buffet nights were super fun and the menu nights served outstanding meals. Compliments to the chefs and the staff. The staff was superb and very friendly, always at your service for anything.

I would consider setting out a few more insect traps, we had a few uninvited "guests" in our suite a couple of times. Nothing too bothersome tho

Lovely room with private courtyard. Beautiful gardens - well planted. Lovely sandy beach a short 5 minute walk away.

Terrible dinner - do not recommend half board. Food was not good & we were hurried throughout - not a great experience. It’s a shame they haven’t put a bar in by reception as lovely views from there.

Very friendly & helpful staff. Great large suites, with own patio, private solarium, jacuzzi, wardrobe. I recommend halfboard - wonderful, diversified food, buffet and a la carte on alternate days. Very good place to go with a dog. Also, I was there in July and there were very few people at the swimming pools, so it was nice, quiet and relaxing.

Could be a bit closer to the beach or a shop but still both within a walking distance.

Great welcome on arrival, very creative designs for each room, nice complimentary products. cosy home, open space. Good shower, hot tub, a peaceful & private environment with lovely palm trees succulent plants. Brilliant spa services too.

Not a lot of shops or restaurants to choose from and quite a distance away from any amenities. This could be classed as a negative but I could also say quite a positive as this was a very restful break for the aforementioned reason
