The location is about 10 minutes by car from the center / main streets, but really not an issue, as there are plenty of parking garages. And if you feel like walking, you can get there in about 45 minutes (depending on how fast you walk.) The hotel has private parking (which is nice) and it is 5 or 6 floors so not TOO big. Rooms were a nice size and clean. Bathrooms were also clean and there were ample amount of towels. The hotel also offers a breakfast, which has a little bit of everything.

The only thing I wish they had onsite was a coffee maker to make espresso or cappuchino or just more coffee options.

We had a top floor room with a balcony. Check in was smooth and all staff we encountered were very friendly. Excellent bus service to the old town - with stops just outside the hotel.

On one of the days we noticed the daily complimentary bottle of water hadn't been refilled and returned to the room. We weren't too bothered as we had bought some water ourselves. However, we were having a coffee after checkout before our drive to the airport in Bilboa and a young lady from reception asked us if we had taken the glass bottle from the room.

The hotel is very good, clean, comfortable, it had parking which was very convenient (at a cost). The staff was awesome!!! Very very helpful not just for hotel issues but for eating and tourist locations and transportation. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again!!! Thank you for making our stay awesome!

Nothing. It is not in the center but moving around is easy and it is at about a 25 minute walk from the beach and tourist attractions.

The location was great, we had driven from Bilbao so it was very easy to get to, being on the edge of town. Parking was very good. The room was a good size and the bathroom very good, great storage space. Great coffee in the morning in the lounge. The staff were excellent, more than helpful. Clear, simple instruction on how to get the bus down to town - very quick, easy and cheap. But also offered a map, showed us where to go for the sights and gave us a list of all the best bars and restaurants in each area - fantstic!

There were some small cobwebs high up in the bedroom. Air-conditioning didnt work and it got quite warm as we had some very hot days.

Very nice hotel in residential quite area very close to the old town and main attractions. We travelled by car and hotel has its closed private parking, In 5 minutes you can be in city center by car or taxi. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful, full recommendation. Breakfast is good and overall atmosphere calm and enjoyable. Be aware that there is a very busy street on one side of hotel so if you need to open the window you hear traffic noise, which was not the issue for us, but may be if you would stay longer.

Be careful when existing the parking because there is no indication that the door will be opening up on the car. My husband went out from the car to push the opening button and by the time he got back the door almost hit against the car because the door opens lateral rather than sliding as we expected and hence approached by car closer.

I loved the room, the bed is amazingly comfortable and the bed linen of very good quality. Everything was very nice and pleasant. Housekeeping were very good. Having air conditioning was so great for me, as although only the end of May, I found it very warm. I was a solo traveller without a car and the bus service is really good from this hotel to San Sebastián beaches and centre. Really great.

My room was just beside the lift and above reception and the noise from the reception area travels upwards particularly in the morning.

Ane is exceptional… she gave a really warm welcome, was really informative and helpful with logistics. In my decades of travel, she is one of the best hospitality professionals ever. I’m very grateful for her great directions and advice on using the bus, negotiating areas closed to traffic, etc. A superstar. The hotel is very clean and located in an authentic neighborhood near many good cider houses, if you want to go deeper than the usual tourist route. I have health issues and needed taxis in a city without Uber and the staff were all very quick to call taxis for us. I’m very grateful for this hotel being pet-friendly. I want to return to the Basque area and will consider this local chain.

The price is high for a location a bus ride away from tourism areas. The gentleman who checked me out was very aggressive about me paying for my breakfast. I understood they had taken a deposit out of my credit card for charges… were the breakfasts these charges? I repeatedly tried to ask this question but was unsuccessful because he kept interrupting me to repeat “You pay for the breakfasts.” Maybe he was having an off day? It was hard to be patient when they cut off my card access an hour before checkout, complicating packing my car. Lastly, the garage is insane - you have to WALK out of your car to CALL reception to open this enormous gate … if you don’t RUN back to your car the gate will swing and HIT your car.

Pros: large clean rooms, everything is in very good condition. The bed is a large size, the three of us slept with a 5-year-old child. The hotel staff is very polite, we were checked in 20 minutes earlier. The main disadvantage: the room was hot and stuffy, it was not possible to turn on the central air conditioning, but we did not bother to call the reception. It was also a little noisy from the road, how long the window was kept open. There is a free parking close to hotel.
