We had a lovely 3 night stay at the hotel and found the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful. Cleanliness was exceptional throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect for us and Donostia-San Sebastián was so beautiful that it was great to be able to walk anywhere we wanted to from the hotel. We had breakfast on the last morning and it was very enjoyable too, the two ladies catering the dining room were very friendly and efficient also.

Brilliantly helpful staff. I made the mistake of booking another hotel 4 minutes away and Arrizul Congress was my savior. A hotel that is light, airy with a modern feel. We stayed in a double room which was spacious. The bathroom was perfect and the location fantastic. The complementary 'coffee corner' was a perfect place to wind down at the end of the day or grab an espresso to get you moving. I would most definitely stay again.

It’s location to bus station and central to almost everything else

The room including the bed were a bit on the small size there was very little room to open the wardrobe doors against the bottom of the bed. The fridge light worked but the temperature was too warm to keep a bottle of water cool. This was my third consecutive year to stay in this hotel San Sebastián can be very wet and windy at this time of year but the umbrellas supplied by the hotel are just to delicate.

My room was tiny. It was difficult to access the closet as the bed blocked opening it normally. There really was no place to sit other than the bed (even though there was a small desk chair - but with the luggage rack just behind it - it was pointless)The only window was a view to a horrible, ugly adjacent building. The bathroom and shower were wonderful!! The staff were amazing - so helpful, kind and accommodating!! I loved the daily breakfast and I loved the daily Champagne.

Definitely the location is the biggest asset. Beds are firm enough (comfortable), pillows are comfortable, and staff is accomodating and nice.

I did not listen to the reviews saying that it is too expensive for what it offers in comparison with other hotels around. They were all true. This is not a dislike, but we aware the the parking costs and it is two blocks away.

Nice property and room. It's generally a crapshoot booking a hotel in a different country, so I try to book 4 star and up just to be safe. This hotel is listed as a 4 and did not disappoint. The coffee and water in the lobby from noon to 8 daily was a plus. Bed was comfy. If I were to nitpick, I'd say the only issue was that the AC could have been a little cooler at night.

This hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location. 5 min walk to Old Town, but far enough away from Old Town that the weekend crowds don't keep you up at night. Large bathroom and very clean. Staff was very kind and welcoming.

Hotel in an excellent position for exploring San Sebastián. The lady on reception who greeted us on arrival set the tone for the stay. She was very welcoming and provided useful information on how to get to the old town and key places to visit. The first time a hotel has provided a handout on recommended pintxo bars (and the dishes they are renowned for) and restaurants which was really useful. Staff at breakfast were great as were all the staff.

Great location for exploring San Sebastian, felt clean and comfortable but a little corporate, but functional. Some free drinks provided in the mini bar which was a nice touch. Can't complain about anything really! Our room had no view at all but it was very quiet, and with the air con and blackout curtains we slept well. We didn't have breakfast and just got coffee from Syra nearby

Room was quite small, and another mirror by desk would have been great.

Easy 300m walk from train & bus station. Close to walk to all beaches & sights has supermarket across road & places to eat in side streets that aren't too expensive like the main tourist areas. Would stay here again & enjoyed the free drinks!
