The staff were very friendly, especially the reception men Xabi especially. We ate mostly away from the hotel with friends but what we had at Embarcadero was good.The location is excellent with views overlooking the harbour and easy walking to the Metro for trips into Bilbao.

I feel it's time for some redecorating, wallpaper and paint is peeling catch it before it becomes a problem and all will be well but I do like the art deco approach. It's a beautiful building and the views are great, if I visit again I will choose Embarcadero!

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful especially the restaurant manager. We had our breakfast and dinner in the hotel and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the location. The room was small but comfortable. There was a nice lounge area and the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. Parking was available and we were able to leave our car in the car park for 24 hours,

Dinner was quite expensive compared to other hotels we dined in during our trip. One other small thing the hotel does not provide tea and coffee facilities in the rooms but rather offers coffee in the lounge area. It might be a good idea to offer tea both breakfast tea and herbal teas together with a way of boiling hot water.

We visited 10years ago on our honeymoon and came back now for our 10yr anniversary. The staff were so lovely and we were even gifted a bottle of cava in celebration. The hotel is still as exceptional now as it was then. Clean, lovely rooms. Well equipped and with stunning views over the water. Also towels that fit every size!! It might seem a small thing but for a plus size person a size inclusive towel is a welcome surprise. The car park is very convenient with plenty of spaces!

The view was amazing! The room and bathroom was very large with a keyhole window in the bathroom! The staff was friendly, helpful, and eager to please! We enjoyed the walk-ability of the area, the bike trails, the transportation options; the general area is beautiful!

Very minor: it would have been nice to have an iron or a steamer to press your own clothes. We had an issue with laundry since we were traveling through Spain for a while and would have liked to have an less expensive way to do laundry.

Beautiful rooms and common areas. The hotel is located right on the beach. Dinner was excellent.

There were several small things they didn’t provide: no way to make tea in the room or the lounge, no free bottled water for the second night of our stay, and no robes or slippers. (I was told those were only for people who stayed in a suite.)

Fantastic, small hotel in a lovely location. On the seafront, bike lane and promenade at doorstep. Metro for Bilbao 5 mins walk. Xavi greeted us and was absolutely fantastic for advice, friendliness and overall welcome. Great food locations nearby and breakfast, room (suite) and dinner were all exceptional

The hotel was next to the sea resulting in good views across the harbour and port opposite; it was stylish and comfortable with parking on site.

The bar/restaurant menu was very expensive compared with other places we have stayed across Spain including Bilbao. The set menu was not available in the evening.

Beautiful location. Comfortable and spacious room and nicely decorated. Amazing view. Parking available on site. Reasonably priced decent restaurant on site with indoor or outdoor seating. Lovely common areas. Easy walk to local dining. Easy walk to tram into Bilbao. Quiet. Loved the porthole window in bathroom.

Underground parking a little challenging with larger car but no worse than elsewhere.

Location , staff accomadation excellent . Have recommended to my friends . It was just perfect and we will definitely return . Also we had two Labradors with us and it was just brilliant .

To be honest nothing it ticked all our boxes

Clean, well presented, parking.

Proximity to Bilbao Port is exaggerated. The bar/restaurant was exceptionally busy and a separate residents’ bar is really required to upgrade the experience. It felt way too much like a locals’ pub.
