This charming hotel was a perfect location for exploring Grenada. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the room was small but lovely. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again!

We didn't care for the breakfast room (in the basement) or the scrambled eggs, which were cold. Thus, we were glad we didn't include breakfast in our overall stay. My recommendation to the hotel is for better signage for the stairs. One morning the elevator wasn't working and we could not find a way out or how to get to the lobby. Other people had the same problem. Finally, we encountered staff who were helping another couple to get out and we followed them. This meant we had to go outside to get to the lobby. The door leading outside was not obvious because it was covered in paper and there was construction in the room. If there was a fire, this could have been a serious safety issue. Please install signs for your guests 🙏

Wonderful hotel located in the old part of Granada, walking distance to restaurants and Cathedral. For us also to Alhambra, but I know for some it would be to far. Breakfast (delicious, by the way) until noon is definitely an asset for late sleepers like us. And so is late checkout. Wonderful view from the roof. Beautiful and comfortable room. We would absolutely stay again if we ever come back to Granada. Which we will, because Granada itself is amazing. :)

Pool is small (which we understand - limitations of the roof) but could be open longer.

A lovely hotel. Very clean in a very central location. The bed was super comfy and best pillows ever. We had the room on the top floor with the terrace which was very private - a lovely view of the city and a nice sun trap - I wished the room was a bit bigger but it suited our needs. The breakfast was excellent and staff very friendly. If the weather was a tad warmer we would have stayed on the roof terrace alot more as it could be a sun trap - the pool is heated - an amazing panoramic 360 view of the city. Super location - close to main sights and restaurants. The only thing I will say is that as soon as you book your room and you have a date you MUST book the visit to the Alhambra - this is basically the MUST thing to do in Granada - the ticket costs about 20 euros from the ticket office (link below)but you have to book at leat six weeks in advance - what we found is that the tickets get sold out weeks in advance - mainly being brought by tourist companies who will then sale it in at an inflated price - we were offered one ticket for £200 - it is a scam if they say you can buy on the day - you can’t - this wasn’t just our experience but lots of people we spoke to. This is no fault of the hotel - I just want to let you know as it was such a disappointment for us not to get a ticket (I even stayed up at midnight to try and purchase last minute ones from the ticket office but it was impossible) https://www.alhambra-patronato.es/en The above is the link to the ticket office - don’t be scammed like so many others. Great central location in Granada, clean, very comfortable. Landed in Malaga, bus from outside airport straight to Granada then metro from bus station to hotel. Three nights of sightseeing and relaxation. Great views from the roof top pool area. Breakfast was good, no need to eat any other meal in the hotel due to the diverse and numerous places around the centre to eat. Lovely city to visit. Highly recommend.

Being picky…would have been nice if the roof top pool area was bigger but then it wouldn’t have fitted on the roof. Can’t really be negative about the place

Great room, great location, super friendly and helpful reception staff. Amazing breakfast that was very good value for money. We really could not fault this hotel. The room was lovely, very comfy bed, sofa, chair, small table, kettle and tea and coffee (more provided on second day) Very nice bathroom with good quality products. The location of the hotel was great. We did catch a taxi from the train station but it would have been walkable with less luggage. Very easy to get a taxi right outside the station. Everything you want to visit is within walking distance, great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend the breakfast. Great selection of food and good quality. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful. You could take breakfast until 12 o'clock. We followed recommendation by reception staff to get a taxi to the Alhambra. They will phone a taxi for you and it will be there within minutes. There is a convenient pick up point just around the corner from the hotel, outside Burger King. Reception staff will give you a card with the number of your taxi on. Great system. We left our luggage on the day we arrived and left. We had two nights and 3 days in Granada and would recommend 3 full days to visit the city. We had read a few comments about noise early in the morning outside. We were on the first floor. First morning we did get woken up at about 7.30am but then it was quiet and the second morning no noise to be heard. Nothing that would put us off booking this hotel again. We did not have time during the day to enjoy the roof top terrace but did go up there one evening just to take a look. There were a few different areas to sit or lie and it looked a good space. Pool is small, but slightly bigger than a plunge pool.

Nothing to improve

The location was perfect.The room well sound proofed,overlooking a pedestrian walkway,big comfy bed,kettle & daily cleaning service. Buffet breakfast selection good.

No resident lounge area,only honesty bar on rooftop terrace .Modern but dark decor with narrow corridors & stairs with very limited natural light. We were there during the major power cut .There was no emergency lighting on stairs & corridors,smoke detectors also out.

It is at the perfect location with all attractions in walking distance. It is also not a long walk for us to walk from the train station with a small suitcase. Lots of good restaurants and shops nearby. The room size is decent with everything we need. We are really happy with the roof top and the pool with the panorama view of the city. The breakfast is also good with decent amount of options. The staff helped us to arrange a taxi to the airport and it worked smoothly. There are only very few (4?) rooms on each floor and it is quiet. We don't hear much noise from streets either.

We did not drive a car so not a problem for us that this hotel is in a pedestrian area. For people who has a car, it can be a bit inconvenient to park.

The hotel was in a really good location for us everything was walkable, we were only round the corner for the hop on hop of train which we used to get a feel for Granada and to visit the Alhambra Palace. The receptionist we had when we visited was excellent, she helped us to getlour last minute tickets for the Alhambra Palace

As with a lot of hotels we have visited in Spain 4pwe have been disappointed with our views, as once again all we had was a view of a wall, so it feels like we are in a box

The room was clean, and location was great and very central. The rooftop pool and view was amazing, and just a nice touch to the hotel. There was water available in the reception for refilling, and the staff was lovely and accommodating, the reception is available 24 hours. The hotel’s location is also great for bus stops, we could get any bus in Granada near the hotel! The only issue we experienced was the shower head’s pressure caused leaks in the bathroom, and maybe some maintenance around that would be a good fix.

The location of the hotel was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The regular breakfast was very good and my friends were delighted with the array of food. My bed was exceptionally comfortable and I had a very good nights sleep. It was quiet. We really loved the roof terrace which had fabulous views over the city. The hotel were also very accommodating and allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel after we checked out which we really appreciated. .

There were a couple of small things the hotel could improve on. First of all while my room was comfortable, the plug in the sink was stuck. My friend had an issue with a lock in her room. The hotel did their best to get the situation sorted out as soon as possible. However she did have to spend one hour in the bathroom. She also had a problem with the AC in her room and the hotel eventually brought up an electric fan . On the positive side in order to compensate us for our inconvenience the hotel did offer us free breakfast and also did not charge us for the items from the bar.
