The staff was incredibly helpful and caring throughout our stay. They were very understanding of our situation after our airline cancelled our flight, and it was clear they genuinely cared about their guests. Everyone checking in was treated with the same enthusiastic and welcoming attitude, which made the atmosphere even better. The hotel itself was perfect for our family. The kids absolutely loved the pool and had such a fun time. Our room was spacious and very comfortable for a family of four, and the bunk bed was a big hit with the kids. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would not hesitate to return if we find ourselves in the area again.

Near airport and shuttle service is handy and reliable. 10-15 euro for uber into city centre. Rooms are large and ideal for family of four with bunk beds.

Stayed last year as were happy with our stay. However disimproved quality this year. Cleaning staff knocking on room at 8 am to clean room and then did not return on a number of days to replenish water, coffee, toilet roll etc. at a later time as requested. When they did come to clean room beds were changed but bathroom or floors were never cleaned during our 10 day stay. No variation on breakfast, exact same items each day. One coffee machine for the entire restaurant causing large queues. Coffee machine located at entrance door of restaurant also causing congestion coming in out. Bunk beds uncomfortable and more for a young child..

Good location, not far from a mall. Obviously close to the airport, which is great.

The breakfast area was crowded in the morning and they only had one automatic coffee machine, so there was a lineup. It was approximately 10 AM and by 10:20 they were starting to clear away the breakfast. Also, the restaurant didn’t open until 8:30 PM which is very strange especially if you’re traveling. They need to have some sort of vending machine or shop where you can buy snacks or sandwiches.

The beautiful rooms and cleanliness. The unique rooms you offer such as the newsroom, the Wii room, the bizzroom and the gym. Something for everyone and a lot of thought has gone into designing the hotel to cater for different needs and modern life.

I would have liked access to the swimming pool. I understand that it is normal for outdoor pools in Spain to only open between late May to September and i also accept that water shortages have to be considered. However, the temperatures in Spain (like everywhere) are climbing due to climate change. The hot weather is definitely becoming prevalent much earlier in the year and for longer. It is time this is reflected in the pool openings. Also, if not the actual pool itself please consider opening a little outdoor seating area to enjoy the sunshine in your private hotel grounds. I would have loved to sit and enjoy the sunshine today for the few hours i had before my flight.

I was given a large room overlooking a field so it was not loud and I appreciated that.

Of the 3 times I have booked at this hotel the room refrigerator was not working two times. I have allergies and carry food so I specifically requested one, and I still ended up with staff bringing a different one to the room. They were fast and I appreciated that but the food needed to be cooled. I would like to see ice machines available instead of requesting this from the restaurant I don't use.

We have stayed at Axor Barajas more than a dozen times over the years and they always exceed our expectations! The room is so comfortable with soft bedding and black-out curtains plus a wonderful shower and bathroom. The bedding sheets are just right! The breakfast is a definite go to get your day started. Book at the time of your reservation or the morning of for breakfast, but the best deal is at the time of booking. The staff are fluent in Spanish and English which makes things much easier for me. The restaurant is open late at night and offers some delectable meals. We arrived after 11pm and we were happy to see such wonderful cuisine at that hour. The shuttle picked us up right on time and also got us to the airport right on time as well. Book your spot on the shuttle at the time you check-in. This will always be our go-to hotel while in Madrid!!!

I do not like that the air conditioner gets very cold at night during the summer months and too hot during the winter months. You can only choose your air temperature to be cold during summer and hot during winter.

The room was comfortable for a family of 4.

The food that we ordered for room service was one of the weirdest food experiences we have ever had in a lifetime of world travels. It was like a child trying to come up with a made-up recipe based on the name of the meal. Truly absurd and needless to say, disappointing for the price and category of the hotel. I wish we had taken pictures of what was brought to us. It was ridiculous….

Hotel room was squeaky clean. Staff wasn't very friendly, rather obnoxious.

Liked the location and free shuttle service, though the lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly at all. The driver of the shuttle was an oxymoron. Despite my telling him several times that I needed to get off on terminal 2, he, for some reason, stopped the van at T4 and told me to get out. After I refused to exit the van and insisted on being dropped off at T2, he then reluctantly took me there. That almost made me lose my flight. It was an ordeal I would like to forget.

Great rooms, super comfy beds & pillows. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Room was stocked with a large bottle of water. The reception team was great, even letting me check in earlier than the permitted time at no additional cost. The shopping centre is within walking distance of the hotel & has great coffee & cake shops. The free Madrid airport shuttle from the hotel runs every 30mins & is on time & very convenient. Shuttle driver is friendly & helpful. Had a good stay & would totally recommend it for the convenience.

The dinner didn't have much vegetarian options on the day of my stay & not much of a coffee or tea selection. (No cappuccinos or Cafe late etc.) The dinner staff could have been more friendly.

The location was close to the airport with a shuttle service included. It was near a Spanish Restaurant( la Grada ?) 5 min walk and also a large mall with food court 10 minutes away. There were some nice communal areas for conversing. There was a lovely clean modern bathroom on the main floor. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our shuttle driver was especially pleasant and friendly. English was spoken and our luggage was stored until shuttle time when we checked out.

The breakfast was not included for us and seemed pricey. The pool had no water. It was 27 degrees when we arrived and we had hoped to have a refreshing swim. There was a kettle in the room with complimentary coffee and tea but the last cups were too flimsy for hot drinks. We also found dirty hiking socks of a previous guest under the bed.
