It was a very good place to stay and super easy to get to. Both members of staff who I spoke to were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything you'd need. I enjoyed having the coffee maker right in the room for when I was getting ready in the morning. There were nice little touches like some little cakes if you wanted a snack and a carafe of drinking water set up in your room.

The location was great! The staff spoke good English and the owner even spoke Italian and Romanian, beside Spanish and English, which was excelent! We liked the complementary snack and coffee and the cleaning lady brought us more soap and paper when we asked for it. They were all very nice. The room is clean and small.

The sink was very little and we always got water on the floor which was inconvenient, I suggest eighter they buy a bigger sink or put a little rug under it. Also maybe in the room 302 maybe they could put a shelf for clothes next to the TV, that’d be a nice addition given the fact it’s not much space to put your clothes.

Would have liked a mirror in the bedroom as we couldn’t both use the one in the bathroom at the same time which slowed us down when getting ready Noise both within and outside the hotel - although we were aware of this from previous reviews

We stayed 2 times within a week. 1st stay the room was perfect. 2nd time it was a bit too cramped and had no sound isolation so it was a bit inconvenient there So if it was just the first stay id give a perfect score but the second one brought it down a bit. Im still giving a high score because the staff was great and overall it was good

We had a triple room for 2 nights with a private toilet. It's 2 minutes by foot from the teal (1) metro Tirso de Molina. Everything is close to it, the plaza espania is about 10 mins walk, the palace and the cathedral too. There's a LIDL and carrefour right next to the same metro station mentioned before. There's a fridge for everyone to use and you can leave your baggage there in the morning, make sure to tell the person at the reception though. There's a lift too! Highly recommended

The hostal was in a great location close to bus and metro stops. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. Bed comfy and it was peaceful and quiet at night. Some good coffee and breakfast places nearby. Short walk to Sol, Retiro and all the main sights in Madrid. Elevator is also great to have so you don't have to carry luggage upstairs.

Room was clean and well equipped, really enjoyed the bathroom facilities. Staff was super kind and helpful every time we met them, room service wasn't intrusive and there was a lot of communication on how to do the check in. The location in particular was fantastic, specially when the metro station reopens again.

Leaving the bed was a bit cramped but doable, and I WISH (not expected or required!) that it was possible to connect a device to the TV (HDMI adapter) so we could see our own content. Also wish hair conditioner was provided (only shampoo and body wash)

We were able to check in our bags early which was amazing and even let us know the room was available early. The AC in the room was amazing they even had a portable AC unit. Washing machine was great to. Really good communication from hosts as well

The shower did go cold at one point. Not a major as it was super hot in Madrid.

The room was very clean and everything seemed new. The bed was comfortable, staff were very nice and friendly. The location was central in a very hip and cool neighborhood with colorful streets. Self check in late at night was clear and easy, the hotel communicated very well with us to explain how to self check in.

The room was a little bit small for us. Shower and toilet were separate and toilet was in a very small space.

The room was comfy and cozy tucked along a side street in beautiful Madrid. It was a little difficult to find, but a neighboring hotel helped us locate it as it's location is a little confusing. It is located in a very walkable area in Madrid and was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Having a bigger sign and/or instructions on where it is located from the message sent when booking or on the actual street it is located on.
