It is a basic small hotel, elevator, minimalist decor, artful touches, with very helpful and friendly front desk staff. The location is exceptional, and one can walk out the door and be at multiple major attractions with a brief walk. Room was simple: bed, chair, no desk, but small balcony and fresh air (and tables to work are in lobby and by coffee machine). Reading lights over bed. There is also a 4th floor outdoor terrace area (no real view but pleasant place to work.) They have breakfast for a fee but i am not a big breakfast person. They do have a fab 24 hr. coffee, fancy coffees (with decaf option) and teas. It is the location that sold me. Also, I had a package delivered when I was there (important) and the front desk paid for the courier and I reimbursed. No fuss. That was a huge help. The only real 'transportation' I needed was Uber to and from airport. The rest i walked. Wifi fine and free. Very clean.

Mattress was basic and a bit hard. Pillows were great.

Our stay at this hotel was simply unforgettable! Everything was perfect from start to finish, and we are already planning to come back. The location couldn’t be better, and the staff are just amazing – so kind, attentive, and always ready to help. My boyfriend had his birthday during our trip, and when I asked if they could do something special, they surprised us with chocolate. Such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture! We loved having 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and milk, and sometimes there were even delicious desserts waiting for us. The shared kitchen with a fridge was also a big plus. Our room was always spotless, everything worked perfectly, and the bathroom was well stocked with shower gel and shampoo. It truly felt like the staff cared about every little detail to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, hospitality, and warm memories!

The TV was on the smaller side, and the shower was a bit tight, but it didn’t affect our overall wonderful stay.

Everything was great 👍 the receptionist and housekeeper were very friendly and helpful. Jan was the best 👍 and the coffee available 24/7 👌. You can leave your baggage at the reception after checkout incase you have a travel after 12 pm . Metro station is close to the hotel and there’s a bus stop right outside the entrance. Very close to all the places to visit while in Madrid.

The location is perfect!You can reach any must-see in madrid within 10 to 20 min walk. It's 2 min walk from the metro station. You can take metro line 1 from the train station to the hotel (Tirso de molina station). Carrefour and late opening supermarkets just around the corner. Other than that free tea and coffee with honey (sometimes with chorus!) anytime you want.Microwave is available at the cafe area. You have a nice terrace for smoking on the 4th level. On top of that the friendly staff keep your luggage for free after check out if you have late flight.

The location was excellent. Free coffee was lovely. Slept very well! Clean with everything we needed for a very short trip to Madrid. The receptionist was lovely and helpful and always spoke to us when we were going in and out. Cheap, clean place to sleep.

It was fine for what we needed. The hotel is very basic and reminded us of halls of residences from our uni days. A few things needed repairing in the room, like the metal around the shower tray. However, it was a place to sleep.which is all we needed, and we did sleep well. We thought we would hear traffic, but we were not disturbed.

Location is perfect, very central and off a side street. The doors are locked at night but someone is at reception 24/7 to let you in, which makes it feel very safe. We arrived early and our room was ready so they let us check in. We checked out very early in the morning as we had a flight to catch and all staff were lovely and accommodating. Comfy room with everything needed. Would definitely recommend.

Only thing was there was a bin in the bathroom but not one in the room for general rubbish. That’s the only thing!!

The hotel is located very central within walking distance from many interesting sights. The staff so friendly and welcoming ,the guy who did the check in and check out was so pleasant and helpful , many thanks . The other members of staff that i cam across were very nice and welcoming. I liked the fact it has a menber of staff at the reception 24 hours a day ! For me it's vital , just incase you need someone.its good to know someone is there if you ever need something. The hreakfast was great very nice and reasonably priced . The room was modern, clean and well equipped with all the toiletries ,clean towels etc.. A real value for money Would highly recommend it .

The friendliness of the people behind the desk when you arrive. you feel welcome. Information that they gave us. Great hospitality. Availability of tea and coffee, hot chocolate etc 24 hours COMPLIMENTARY, which you will not find in other hotels.

The only thing that bothered us is the noise outside of the cars passing during the night especially that of the Police which you have no control. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU ARE ALWAYS ADDRESSING ME AS RUBEN BUT I AM PETER I HAVE ALREADY REPEATED THIS SEVERAL TIMES.

It’s very central and the staff was very kind and helpful. Water and coffee available for free h24. It was my boyfriend birthday and they left in the room a card and chocolates. Loved it!

It would be good a little retouch to the rooms. The shower had only coloured lights pink and red/ blue/green, don’t know if it was broken. It’s small and functional but it would be great to have one more chair or something where to put your stuff.

Good, central location, easy to reach by the metro. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and within walking distance of the main galleries, Gran Via and central Madrid. A good-sized, clean room.

Slightly shabby compared to other places we stayed in during our trip to Spain.
