Location is terrific, near Puerta Del Sol, Barrio La Latina and only walking distance from a lot of museums. Considering that it is a hostel, I found that everything was in order: good rooms with air conditioning, nice terrace, beds were acceptable (maybe bring your own pillow for comfort?), friendly reception, good hygiene. I would definitely come back here! (for those who care, the hostel is for the quiet traveller or couple of friends.)

I am sensitive about sleeping so the mattress could be more comfortable. But even if I consider this, I would come back here.

I had a wonderful stay here! The host family was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home-they were super nice and flexible with all our needs. The location is perfect; we hardly needed to use public transportation because everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. The room was more than great-comfortable, clean, and exceeded our expectations. I will definitely come back again and can recommend this place to everyone. Thanks a lot for such a fantastic experience!

excellent location - close to theater area, restos in Plza Sta Ana, La Latina area and walking distance to the museums ( not to mention close by Metro and grocery store.) In a traditional apt. block with the noise intrusions this comes with from other floors- water flushing through pipes can disturb plus courtyard slamming of doors, lift, etc. at all hours. Room was spacious, comfortable, and as advertised. Use of kitchen is great. Very friendly family welcome. Bathroom situation was fine. Low season.

The beds were amazing, the pillows, too. Great location that would have been uber quiet had it not been for construction. The hosts were very accomodating with our specials request and so helpful. Not sure i'd call this a hostel though. We had our own room with a bathroom directly outside of our door. It didnt feel like we were sharing a bathroom. Great price and location for a last minute booking. I cant believe they still had a room.

Nothing to dislike

Although the showers were shared, there were enough bathrooms for all the rooms and they were very clean. My bedroom had its own bathroom with a toilet and sink, which was very much appreciated. Besides, the place is very nice and well-located. I didn't use the kitchen facilities cause I was in Spain trying to make the best out of the cuisine! But it seemed pretty much complete and organize.

Host is a very nice person willing to help in everything you need. It's an apartment a bit old but good enough for a few days stay and in a pretty nice location which is essential for visiting the city

Nothing to complain, few little things that are well ignored.

We only stayed for one night on our way further north so didn't have much chance to use the facilities. If we had been there longer we would have made use of the kitchen. The location was very good and we were given excellent instructions on how to find the accommodation. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was good and very quiet.

Perhaps we didn't read the description of the room correctly, but we were surprised that there was not a shower in the room, although there was one down the corridor.

Great central location, clean and comfy room, a balcony with a view. Next to many bars/restaurants, two supermarkets as well as the tourist sights. Lovely and very warm hostess. Quiet property, no one disturbed us, no parties, noise, etc. Nothing negative to say about this one, we would stay there again.

Location was amazing and the host was super nice. She let us leave our luggage in the house after check out to also still explore the city. Our room also had a separate toilet so that was great.

There was not a ton of amenities but that’s it.

Centrally located but on a quiet off street. Hotel had a kitchen and fridges so you can buy some bits in the Supermarket which is a help. There are two supermarkets within 100metres and Sol is just a 5min walk. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated us with bag storage on the final day by allowing us to hold onto the key for a few hours(which is essential to access the hotel to retrieve the bags).
