The location was great; within walking distance to just about everything. Even when we took the metro for convenience we could have walked. The room was clean and efficiently set up, and the balcony was nice. The shower was powerful with immediately hot water and within a fully enclosed stall. We loved the young folks who worked the front desk. They were always cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was good. There's a wonderful soup and salad restaurant right next door that we enjoyed.

There's no coffee pot or even basic kettle in the room, so for early risers there is nothing to do but wait for the breakfast service to open or leave the hotel to find hot drinks elsewhere. But this was the only negative for the stay. Everything else was great.

Location is very convenient. But be aware, the Metro station Anton Martin doesn’t have any lift. There are probably 3 flights of stairs to reach the ground level. There are three lines of bus that go to Atocha train station . The hotel luggage storage is flexible. The breakfast is good value! There are fresh fruits every day. The kitchen lady is very friendly , as well as the reception staff. The Anton Martin Market nearby is a bit of a letdown to us. The restaurant food doesn’t look enticing to us.

Our room is very far from the lift and the windows open to a small courtyard with cooking smell sometimes.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room and bathroom are in clean and hygienic conditions. The breakfast are very good. The supply is generous and replenish promptly when finished.

I requested to pay cash upon arrival instead of charging to my credit card before arrival to avoid exchange rates and card fees but my request was not met by the property who advised that I need to talk to Booking.Com. I sent a message to Booking.Com Customer Service but did not get a reply.

Ideally located within walking distance of old Madrid. The room, although small was clean and had the added bonus of a mini fridge and safe. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was efficient and quiet. Although on a fairly busy road, there was no sound with the balcony door closed. There is a shop 2 minutes away that sells bottles of water. It is possible to walk from the train station, but there is a hill to climb in the heat. The breakfast offered a good assortment. Overall good value for money

Stayed here by myself in mid-October (travelling for a conference; stayed 5 nights). The location of this hotel is great as it is very central and you can walk everywhere. 🚇 Metro options are also available nearby 👍🏻 My room was big with a double bed, a big wardrobe, air conditioning, and private bathroom with a shower. I had a fridge too, and the hotel staff provided me with an iron when I asked. I had breakfast included in the fee and I was happy with the food selection (you get the same selection every morning). My window was facing the inner courtyard so there was no noise from the street at all 👌🏻 Overall, I am satisfied with my stay. The price was also decent compared to some other hotels I’ve seen in Madrid that don’t necessarily provide breakfast but charge >£200 a night! I can recommend this hotel. Also, for clarity, it is NOT a hostel - the name was confusing when I saw it first 😂 but it is definitely not a hostel, it’s a hotel.

It wasn’t too big an issue for me but one thing to note is that the walls are a bit thin here so if you have a loud neighbour, you will hear them and their loud TV! But I had ear plugs with me, and even if there was any noise, it wasn’t late at night so I got plenty of good sleep here.

Location is perfect, in Atocha street, in the center of the city, close to many city attractions like Plaza Mayor, Retiro park, San Miguel mercado, Royal palace, Gran Via, etc. and not too far from Plaza Espanya, everything is in walking distance 15-30 mins. The room was very clean and spacious, even though we had kinder bed in it and we travelled with toddler. There is always someone on the reception, and everyone was very polite and helpful. We asked for child bed and water kettle for our baby and we got it immediately. The breakfast is nice, like in most hotels, nothing special but it was tasty and always fresh. We spent 6 nights in this hotel and were really happy with it. On our last day we could leave our bags in locked room while we were strolling around the city waiting for the ride to the airport.

Breakfast is in restaurant in basement which is not too big, we didn't have space to sit on one occasion due to hotel being full, but this is just minor thing, we came back half hour later and it was almost empty. We were flexible with time so it wasn't big deal, and it happened only once in whole week. Besides that everything was great. Also room had balcony door (without balcony) which looks at inner backyard, and it lacks of natural light because building has few floors, but we were mostly outside strolling around the city so we didn't mind that.

What I enjoyed the most was the breakfast — absolutely worth it! The hostel has a fantastic kitchen staff who make the experience even better. Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent, and the location is very convenient — just a 5-minute walk from the metro station and within walking distance of many attractions. Overall, staying in Madrid was simply amazing.

All services were satisfying: reception, housekeeping, breakfast, luggage storage. Location is great, vivid, and close to city center with no noise from street outside. Food was great. Me and my family, 4 in total, really enjoyed our stay, especially the kids enjoyed the jumping on the bed before sleeping, they were confy. As a hostel it is super great option and for sure I would book it again

Breakfast area was small but very well organized, sometimes you have to wait for a free table.

The hotel is very well located in the city centre and the room was cleaned daily.

Maybe it sounds funny, it was too hot in the room during the night, and we couldn't open the window being in February...Also, it was quite noisy because of the stairs close to our room. The room would need some improvements with some minor things like a hanger for the towels and a simple glass/container for the toothbrushes.

Very central location and very reasonably priced. Room a bit cramped but clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Nice shower. Excellent breakfast – the hotel had two stars but the breakfast was five-star. Walking distance to all the main attractions. We only used the metro on the final day to get to Moncloa (for the Museo de América) and to see the Cibeles fountain by night.

Nothing to dislike.
