Location is satisfying!Beds are comfortable, room is small but clean.

Most staff are friendly except one who help us check in.He let two spainish check in half an hour before two clock while let us wait till two clock and pretended only one room just ready in the second floor.That is why we will not choose the hotel when we come back to Madrid.

It’s ideally situated behind Gran Vía, close to many local and international food outlets and shops. Also close to a police station so one feels safe in the area. Right behind Gran Vía. The staff here are particularly friendly and helpful. I have stayed 3 times and this has always been the case. Cleanliness is obviously key to their service - they are constantly cleaning.

Slightly small but the room’s not expensive so that’s fine. A further plug or USB for charging of phones, etc. that’s more accessible would be helpful. Another hostal provides fresh fruit in communal areas which would also be a nice touch.

Perfect location, safe area, walking distance (15-20 min.) to the main tourist attractions, very friendly staff, clean rooms, daily room cleaning. You have everything You need in the such a small room. Heating was perfect. There is no fridge in the room, but You can find it in the hostel kitchen.

Toilet was in the room (without normal wall or door between bathroom and bed). I've never seen something like that. We booked 2 single rooms. There is a elevator in the building but if Your room is on the top (3rd) floor, You have to use internal staircase. Our rooms were next to the laundry room and it was a little bit noisy early in the morning.

Friendly reception. Was happy to have a good rate of around 60€ for a single room with bathroom. Prices are expensive in most hostels on busy weekends. Room was small but ok for 2-3 days. Room not facing street so no street noises. Walls are paperthin so if your neighbour talks loud you're in bad luck. Fortunately I was lucky. After midnight until 7 am it was absolutely quiet. Cleanliness was really ok. Airconditioning worked really well. Very helpful in sweltering summer. Bakery next door for coffee and breakfast.

Shower very small and door didn't close.

The location is perfect, everything is close, I didn't need to use public transportation (except from and to the airport). The staff is really friendly. The room was small, cosy and clean. I would recommend to any female solo traveler (the police station is just across the street and it seems really safe).

It didn't really bother me, but it was odd - there was no wall between the toilet and the bedroom. It would be nice if there was a small refrigerator.

The hotel is very nice, the room is nice and sufficient for a solo traveller with an affordable cost, the location is very good as it is very close to the city center and the main areas and attactions in Madrid so you can easily move walking without taking the taxi or the public transport which will save a lot of money and time. Very recommended for who is looking to visit Madrid for a few days and needs to spend most of his day sightseeing out of the hotel. the best thing is having a proviate bath room in your room.

For that price and location it is awsome. There was everything you need for oversleeping. Moreover electric kettle and teabag. Hair dryer. Gel and Shampoo. Room was very clean and quiet and warm. Water was hot. I had been staying there for 2 night but a I can imagine to be there much more longer, no problem.

Noise from the air conditioner. It is not too bad, but I am not used to. I only noticed in the morning, it didn't disturb me during night. And a shower and toilet without door. On the other hand, it is just for you, why not. I have just never seen it before. Nothing why I wouldn't go back.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room, although small, was clean and what I needed. The location is one of the best in Madrid! The room was cleaned meticulously every day.

A small fridge in the room would make the experience a whole lot enjoyable. The air conditioning was not efficient enough for the hot temperatures in Madrid.

The room looked nice and was clean, the basics were provided, there was a sink in the room, toilet and shower were somewhat separated by low walls, it all fulfilled its function. The staff was kind

For Madrid the price was probably ok, but due to all my journeys I compare worldwide and found it a bit high, at least I am expecting a fridge and microwave in the room for the price

Everything was clean and organized when we arrived. There was a kettle in the room and they provided free tea. Towels and toiletries were also given. There were two sockets, one on each side of the bed so we didn’t need to share. AC worked perfectly as well, which was essential at this time in Madrid. The location was amazing! Less than 5 mins away from the nearest metro, it is centric and close to bars and restaurants. There are Dia or Carrefour groceries just beside the building. And it’s so close to the shopping spots as well. Highly recommendable.

The room wasn’t cleaned the following days and toiletries were not replaced. I don’t think they expect one small sachet of bath soap could last 4 days but still, we had to keep requesting for new supplies every day. If cleaning wasn’t automatic, they should have a door sign that says “please clean my room” or “please don’t clean my room”. This would be helpful.
