Great room, quiet, comfortable bed, good shower. Nice bar and restaurant with very good food. The free airport transfer worked well, although the process for booking it was convoluted - see what I didn't like for details.

Before the stay I received a message saying I would need to book the airport transfer in advance and that I could do this by WhatsApp or over the telephone. I sent a WhatsApp message to the number given but received no reply. So, after a day or two, I telephoned and was told I would need to do it on the hotel's website. The message had not said that! Anyway, eventually I booked the transfer but after more effort than should have been necessary.

I was on a day transit in Madrid and the location was just perfect near the airport. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious, with modern furniture & luxury bathrooms. The main restaurant offered delicious food as well.

No porter services, I had to transfer my luggage myself which is really inconvenient. This point should be reconsidered in many 4 star hotels in Spain as I faced the same problem in a couple of hotels during this summer trip. Either they don’t have porters or their shifts start later on the day while my trips were usually early morning! Another point is the pool size and surrounding amenities which is considered tiny compared to the hotel size.. disliked it.

Great stay in the comfortable suite at this hotel. It is much better than most airport hotels in that it is nestled in a lovely tree lined neighborhood. With groceries stores, great bakeries and restaurants (I recommend Humo's Gastrobar) within walking distance. There are also three nice little parks around the building which is great if you have a little one. The little pool area was nice (and much needed with the Madrid heat) and the airport shuttle was also very convenient & easy to book.

The food we had the first night for dinner at the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Rather over-priced & dry, and the service was slow & inattentive despite it not being very busy at all. The breakfast was fine though.

Got off to bad start with a delayed shuttle to hotel. Hot outside by Hotel bus stop and no seating. Arrived early and got shuttle an hour after booked time. I was pretty cooked by then after travelling since 9 am to Madrid and the outside heat. After a hot shower and a good nights sleep I have better perspective on reviewing place. Hotel is a distance from airport. The shuttle needs to be provided to compete with other hotels. Other hotels had 3–5 shuttle pick ups during my waiting time. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offered a lot of choice and was good start to another travelling day. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful.

The free shuttle needs to be provided to make this hotel seem reasonable priced or in competition with other options closer to airport. Once at hotel it is a good choice for someone in transit or overnighting near Madrid airport.

Fabulous Reception staff. Excellent breakfast. Lovely room but a bit dark.Was good to be able to open the window. Normal sized cups would have been nice to have in the room rather that the tiny paper cups.Dis someone buy a job lot from Amazon!! Pool area and terrace a bonus. Dinner was good but a more varied price range and type of food would be good. Shuttle Service to T1 and T 4 excellent. A huge help and one reason we took the booking. Enjoyed the recommendation to visit Parque Capricho nearby. Thank you.

Cups in the bedroom, not paper pill cups. Terrace cover pulled over on bright sunny days. Dinner menu a bit more varied.

I did like the comfort , the hotel is clean , the location , we can find a little market to get snacks ! The welcome treats it was nice to have and eat 👍🏼 the calmness around the hotel ❤️ hearing the bids in the morning 😍

It says free shuttle so for my understanding, mean the shuttle pass at the airport a certain times and drop you off at the airport . I didnt know we have to schedule it prior to come and to leave the hotel . That was my only frustration. I pick this hotel because i thought the shuttle will be free so i would be happy to pay extra for the location . But now i pay extra for location and pay extra for the taxi ride . Also i was disappointed about the food at the restaurant! I order the curry chicken and it seems like frozen dish not really tasty.

We have stayed many times at Maydrit and always found the staff very pleasant, quick, and helpful. Although the room (Room 102) was fine, I have stayed in nicer ones in the past. I thought the room looked a little "tired"

As mentioned above, I have stayed in nicer rooms than 102 in the past. I think the cost now is getting very steep. We arrived well after 11 pm and left early the next morning - we were there about 10 hours. I think the cost of 144 euros for the night quite excessive. I think you ought to do some sort of special rate for guests who will be in the hotel for less than 12 hours. When we first stayed with you a few years ago the cost of a room was 50/60 euros!

Clean and quiet room. Nice staff. I stayed here because I had a morning flight, the free shuttle was on time and only minutes to terminal 1. Location is in a residential area with few dining options but near a metro station and a grocery store. The room was too warm even though I had the thermostat set at 18c and then changed to 16c. It didn’t matter what I set it for, still too warm even though it was a cool evening in Madrid so I opened the window. Weird bathroom set up, it’s open to the room with the bidet and toilet in a stall with glass sliding doors, and the shower is in a separate glassed stall but otherwise open to the room. Not very private if you’re sharing the room. A bit overpriced.

Hidden gem near Madrid airport. We have stayed in many hotels next to the airport, Maydrit was a very pleasant surprise! Newly renovated, large rooms with perfect climate control, excellent shower, comfortable beds (excellent mattress, pillows and linen). Amazing staff!! And at the reception, and in the restaurant, and even the shuttle driver! Very tasty, high quality and not expensive restaurant. We hope that all this will last for a long time, we have already booked two more nights for our next stops in Madrid airport.

Hotel Maydrit Airport was an excellent, convenient hotel near the Madrid airport. The breakfast buffet was splendid (including being able to accommodate dairy free and gluten free), the beds were very comfortable, the room was quiet and comfortable, and the staff was extremely responsive and helpful.

It's close to a Metro station but a long ride to downtown, so that made it hard to go back and forth. There's a couple of great grocery stores nearby, but not the best restaurants compared to downtown. The hotel restaurant was good, however.
