Fan Flat Mariscal 1 was a lovely retreat for me to decompress after many weeks of traveling through Portugal and Spain and getting ready to fly back to Amsterdam. In particular, the apartment has everything one needs in an apartment — very clean and comfortable bed, with clean cotton bed linens, very clean kitchen and bathroom, ample towels and tools for cooking. One will need to buy any foodstuffs and drink, but that was not a problem for me at all as I’m used to staying at properties such as this. I didn’t feel like walking to the Centro or visiting any tourist monuments, this stay was for me to relax and unwind and walk a little within the neighbourhood. Within a few blocks from this property I found a little produce shop and larger mercado open every day but Sunday, where I was able to purchase a few things to eat and drink, and also there are many convenient small and larger restaurants within 5 minutes walk as well. Mainly, I was able to easily find beautiful places to sit outside and enjoy the warm air, watch people since there are many city benches along the streets, and also this property is merely 2 blocks away from the east side of the Guadalmedina River, it’s helpful to note that the river runs from north to south to the sea.. and therefore, the Centro is directly south just blocks from here.

Absolutely perfect, I loved it.

+ The accommodation is located a few minutes from the center, which is great + Room amenities are sufficient - On the other hand, there is a lot of noise from outside. The accommodation is located close to the police station and police officers often drive around on motorbikes, which is loud, the windows do not seal at all. - Parking is quite a challenge. You will be lucky to park on the main road, if not, there is a paid parking lot nearby, or there are free parking lots within walking distance. Overall it is pretty good. :))

The room is very clean and perfectly located in walking distance to the city center. There is also a nice bar next to the flat, with local workers hanging out, it serves a good breakfast sandwich with coffee for breakfast.

The balcony with windows does not shield any noise from the often busy street. The shower only has hot water for 30 seconds (then you have to wait a few minutes). Shower was also very small. The toilet seat was moving and screwed on crookedly.

Excellent location within a short walk to many sights. This apartment is compact but very efficient with everything we needed for a comfortable 6-night stay. The shower stall was a bit tight but the shower itself was great—wonderful pressure, lots of hot water and a shelf for soap and shampoo. Great to have a washing machine—it was easy to use and was right next to the bathroom sink, making it very handy to set toiletries. There are several good-size grocery stores within a 5-minute walk (we found Maskom the best stocked) and there’s a convenient and very reasonably-priced parking lot (Las Delicias) just a 1-minute walk from the apartment. The bed was comfortable, the wifi was excellent and the lift (elevator) was fast and convenient. Reasonable price compared with other area lodging. All in all this was a wonderful place to stay.

Everything was great and we would definitely stay again if we return to Malaga. We highly recommend this property to other travelers.

Far from town center. To get the keys you need to go to another building in a lock box, no employee. Then go back to your building, go to your apartment, open the door you find yourself in front of two other doors, choose the one indicated by the owner and enter your studio.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful – located right in the city center, with everything just a 10-minute walk away. The area was peaceful, and the apartment itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. A perfect place to stay – highly recommended!

Its usual apartment, enough to stay. Around 10mins from main center. Its quite place but in case of noise outside you can hear it. i read about warm water but there is boiler so you need to switch on if you gonna take shower.

The shower cabin is very small and not much convenient to stay there. The bed consists of 2 separates beds so if you are couple its not convenient as it could be split when you sleep in the middle.

Unfortunately the electricity went out in the last night. But that can happen anywhere, also in a 5 star hotel

In the center of city, easy to get scooter or walk around

Street was loud and clothes took forever to dry so we had to keep them open and listen to it. Still good tho

The apartment location was excellent, the room was as it is in the pictures, bad was really comfortable
