Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool unheated but refreshing and large. Apartment was a good size, very clean and the balcony was lovely. Location is quiet with good access to transport and shops.

Pool was only open 10am-6pm when we were there although we would have liked to have swum early morning before heading out to explore and again after dinner. 'Non-smoking throughout' ended up with almost constant smoking in the pool areas (wafting up to our balcony), on all the balconies surrounding our room and coming through the aircon unit in our room and the corridors. Ok if you're also a smoker I guess ;(

I had a spacious apartment that had everything I needed, also enough equipment for occasional cooking. Everything was exceptionally clean, no chemical or weird smells -- I'm allergy prone. Idk if it's the season but it was very quiet, also no annoying noise from the street. As others already wrote, the location is sub-optimal but manageable for able-bodied people without a car. One has to go down the hill about 5-7 min to reach the bus stop or walk 35-40 min to the Cathedral. The nearest good supermarket is in the shopping mall and can be reached in 7-10 min. I'd only wish that wi-fi identification worked more smoothly just with a password for example, because I had to fill out the registration form multiple times and sometimes it didn't work.

We really liked the cleanliness of BQ Augusta, the hotel is spotless. The room and balcony are spacious and comfortable. The rooms have a constantly-powered wall socket which is very convenient for charging your mobile devices when you're out of the room. The staff is super-friendly and accommodating, the checkout at noon is great too. Breakfast service is very good, the selection is quite wide and the overall quality is very good as well. The outdoor pool has shallow and deeper sections (>1.5 m), so you can do a bit of swimming if you're a somewhat taller person. There is also a section that is safe for children. You can find free parking in the streets around the hotel pretty easily, in addition the bus and taxi station are a minute walk away from the reception. The hotel is near the Porto Pi shopping mall (10 minutes on foot), which is convenient. Many reviews state that the location is not ideal, however, we found that to be a plus since the nearby highway offers an easy and quick way to get out of town for a road trip around Mallorca.

It would be nice if the hotel provided disposable slippers and a water boiler/electric kettle in the room. The balcony lights remain on all night, with no ability to turn them off or dim the light. Thankfully the curtains are quite thick, but some light does slip underneath the curtains, so the rooms can't be pitch-dark. The hotel is located 50-60 minutes from the center by foot (4-5 km distance), in a hilly area which can be troublesome for some.

The BQ Augusta hotel is a lovely place to stay when in Mallorca. The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are big and very comfortable. The bed was two single beds pushed together, which was fine for me as a solo traveller but may not suit couples. The hotel itself is up a hill, but there are steps you can go up instead of going uphill. The area it is in is okay, it seems quite run down and can be quite noisy at night (had room facing the street). Can be difficult to sleep when the windows are open. The air conditioning doesn't work great either, had it on the coldest setting, and after ten minutes it started blowing out hot air. The food in the restaurant is amazing, I had the quesadillas and the pizzas, both were incredible and very big portions. Very well priced as well compared to restaurants in the area. There are shops nearby, about a 10 minutes walk, and plenty of bus stops for when you're going into Palma/going exploring. You are near the port so you can watch all the boats in the harbour, but obviously this also means you will hear the boats leaving. I liked it but may not be for everyone. There are also cats nearby! Which for any cat lover is a bonus. Pool area is nice and very relaxing to sit on the lounge chairs after a day of exploring. Also, very close to Castle Beveller, I walked to there from the hotel

Service in the restaurant was excellent.

I wish my luggage had been stored in a locked room, someone stole from my bags while they were in storage. Pool area cushions were not put on seats early or beads were not uncovered.

Exceptionally clean hotel, great pool facilities, friendly and helpful staff, comfy beds, very reasonably priced in a quieter area. The hotel is a short walk from the marina and buses 46 & 47 are in the next street, and bus 4 is about 5-10mins away - all options take you to Palma centre, Cala Major and Portopi shopping centre. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you don’t mind being a bit further from the city centre and using transport or taking walks!

Totally minor but it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room. This doesn’t affect everyone but I would be mindful that the streets around the hotel are quite steep if you struggle with mobility. Though there is access to buses and the hotel can call taxis.

The hotel was quite basic but very clean. Good little pool, and we never had to worry about getting a sunbed. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The food was great when we ate there with a good menu selection and the drinks were lovely. The location was excellent, with great bus links into Palma and Cala Major and other places.Very close yo Ponti Pi shopping centre, which has everything you could want!

I would've liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room. And then 2 minor points being that there was inly one charging point by one side of the bed but not the other. Also the air conditioning control unit was faded so very difficult to read the signs and settings but these are minor points.

the hotel is exactly as it is presented in the pictures; it is located in an excellent location, close to the bus stop; because taxis in Majorca are cheap, we used taxis to the Old Town, as the reception staff always ordered taxis for us, like the last day they provided taxis to the airport, which made us feel at ease. The breakfast at the hotel is rich and varied and it was very nice to have a long cup of coffee around the pool. On the last day, we were free the room at 12:30, but we left our luggage at the reception and spent the whole day at the pool, where we had a nice lunch and drinks. After that, we used the changing rooms and bathrooms for fitness, where we showered, changed and prepared for our flight, which was extremely comfortable. We are satisfied and have no complaints about the hotel. Everyone from the staff was very kind and responsive, like everyone else on the island. For us, they were miraculously experienced.

Everything ! Clean , lovely staff lovely food , pool is stunning , loungers , gym I didn’t use , balcony right over view of main road , had seen some bad reviews about noise and lights on outside but there was not a sound anywhere , corner shop a minute walk , 5 mins walk to Porto pi, it is up the top of a lot of hills , and luggage room for if you want to leave it after checkout will definitely visit again !
