This is our 2nd time in hotel Joan Miro Museum. The staff of the personnel is the best one in the hotel. The ladies at the reception (kudos to all of them without exception), the staff in the kitchen (Samuel omelette guy :)) are all have positive attitude. the breakfast has wide range of options for different taste and the price is reasonable. The hotel has own parking space 100 meters away from the hotel in an underground car park for a price (12 euros per day, again affordable comparing to others) There are many restaurants nearby who offer high quality service

The only thing that went worse was hygiene in some areas, some bed linens had some stains on it on one day, so they may work on this in the future.

The hotel met our request to have a double bed with sea view. It had a mini fridge/chiller which was a bonus! We didn't hire a car but the location worked for us, 10 minutes from Palma city centre and around half an hour to the airport - A few restaurants in the area and only a short walk to the beach. The hotel provided a shuttle service to the centre and beach too! The cleaners, reception staff and cooks were amazing. We both felt extremely welcome. We had breakfast near the end of our stay, which is a shame as if we knew it was so good we would have booked it for a full stay, also great value for money!

Although it was okay for us I wouldn't recommend this hotel for people with access/walking issues as the hill to the hotel is steep and many would struggle if they didn't get a taxis. We were sweating pulling our cases up but we managed haha!

Breakfast delicious, especially the omelette and scrambled eggs man - best we have had in a hotel. A lovely selection and very generous. The room was very nice and quiet and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We also had several nice meals there in the evening and prices were reasonable. Wine very good too. A lovely clean hotel, swimming pool and surroundings. Loved the mural of Miro’s workroom.

The toilet in the bathroom was situated a little too close to the side of the shower, so wasn’t very comfortable. It is in quite a hilly situation if you are elderly.

I had a little problem at check-in because I accidentally booked my room for the next day. Luckily, Mira at the reception was extremely helpful and kind. She gave me the great idea to try adjusting my booking, which really helped and made it possible for me to check in without issues. On top of that, I even received a free room upgrade. Mira was very warm and welcoming — she explained how to get around by bus, where the beaches and restaurants are, and was really caring throughout the whole process. She is truly an excellent receptionist and made me feel very welcome from the start. I really appreciated her support and kindness during my stay.

Hotel stuff are very kind and helpful, rooms and entire hotel are very clean and practical. Beach is 650-700 meters away from hotel. Bus stop is 5 mins away. ‘Uphill’ everyone has been previously mentioned in the ratings is not high at all, just a bit.

Hair dryer and door knob of the balcony are old and need to be changed, in my opinion. I also think breakfast is a bit overpriced. It would also be nice with a roof over swimming pool, since its burning from 12:00-17:00 in that area.

The hotel surprised us positively. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was rich, diverse and with slight daily changes. Noise-wise the rooms are decently isolated. We didn’t have time to use the facilities, but they were easily available. There are multiple very nice restaurants nearby, as well as a small supermarket. There is a big shopping mall 15 minutes walk away. It’s a bit hard to park a car next to the hotel, but surrounding streets offered alternatives. The highway is near for easy access to the rest of the island. There is also a frequently running city bus nearby.

We could smell the cigarette smoke from other guests despite closed windows. The fridge contained items left by previous guests. Our room had very narrow door to the bathroom (peaking into other rooms we noticed that it was an exception).

My stay exceeded expectations. I felt that buzz, escapism and specialness you want when on holiday yet, in contrast, it also felt welcoming, inclusive and comfortable. Reception staff (day and night) gave total attention to whoever was stood in front of them. The cleanliness of rooms was notable - staff were friendly, professional and seemed to take pride in the hotel. Bar and restaurant staff were helpful and attentive. Breakfast was awesome. I felt I could linger. Samuel's cheerful presence and tasty omelettes were great. Pool area was clean, not too busy and inclusive. I liked that the hotel attracted different nationalities who all seemed equally relaxed and comfortable.

Not much. Soundproofing seemed good but could hear amorous movement of beds.

We were very surprised by the breakfast (variety, options differ each day, omelettes made fresh, selection of hot and cold and can eat it on the veranda) as well as the pool which was a great size and surprisingly very quiet! Also saw some reviews moan about the hill, which is actually fine (would be a lot harder in the heat with pushchair/wheelchair obviously) just a bit of an incline, and it means the hotel is a little further back from the noise but still beach/restaurants a ten minute walk away so lovely and close. The free bus to the beach and palma centre once a day was also a great addition for guests!

The hairdryer in the bathroom was pretty useless- only a minor point but bring your own if you have the space in your luggage. If a light sleeper you might hear the odd bang on the wall or someone coming back from a late night in their heels on the floor above you- but we slept pretty well.

The breakfast was delicious, we also enjoyed very affordable drinks and dinner at the hotel. Our rooms had balconies, were clean and comfortable. The location was great in Cala Major, with a beautiful beach and loads of food & drink options just 10 mins walk away. The local bus is €2 for a quick ride to Palma town centre, or the hotel offered a free shuttle every morning that you have to book with reception the day before. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for being so friendly, you made our holiday really special with kind gestures and amazing service. We went to some brilliant restaurants, bars and even clubs from your recommendations. And taxi bookings you made were always on time. Thank you.

The staff is extremely nice and helpful, this was a big plus. Location is very good, about ten minutes walk from the beach and full of good restaurants nearby. Also easy to move around with the car and has free parking in the streets nearby. One really bad thing about the stay was our bed. The mattress was really uncomfortable and I would feel like it was folding. The hotel in general is a bit outdated, which is fine, but the mattress condition was really bad. Maybe I was just unlucky with the room. Another point is that the courtains don’t fully close which is also not very nice in a very sunny day. In short, I recommend the stay there although needs improvement in comfort.
