Balcony light. It’s quite hot in the room, however, we could not open the curtains at night to make it more fresh as there was a balcony light and no one told us it could be switched of from the reception

Close to promenade and beach. Friendly staff. Very clean. Nice pool, Handy laundry room. Supermarket, car hire and buses all very close by and good, free street parking outside. Wifi worked well.

A bit distant from the resort centre, though still walkable. Some rooms still need refurbishment and this in ongoing. Worth paying for a sea view room on floor 4 or 5 - much better. Hot water in shower a bit limited but just adequate for two showers if careful.

Another visit to Roca Verde which we love because of it's great location excellent facilities. cleanliness and friendly helpful staff. We should particularly mention the receptionist Acaymo who went out of his way to help sort out the television in our apartment. He is polite helpful and attentive. 5* service. New additions to the facilities are a gym with state. ofbthe art equipment which I used every day. Also the new restaurant Palmira Terraza Club next door which we have reviewed separately on Google and Facebook.

There is nothing we don't like.

The apartment was spacious, fairly clean and the staff were friendly despite some of the negative reviews I'd read after booking. We were pleasantly surprised with our apartment for the price paid and would book here again. The pool area was clean and tidy and there were always plenty of loungers available. Location is great for the beach and nearby bars and restaurants.

Whilst the apartment had been renovated in part, the finish was not the best and further improvements could be made to make the place excellent. There were some minor finishing touches not complete to standard such as painting of the new skirting boards and a loose plug socket near the sofa. The kitchen needed a full overhaul - the cupboards we tried and the benches have clearly been painted and now chipped.

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are very clean and beds very comfortable with crisp white linen. Excellent shower and facilities including free wifi. Lovely balcony overlooking pool and a second balcony with a sea view! Above all we were made to feel very welcome by all staff working in reception. The girls were very helpful in giving us local knowledge and help with transport etc. Pool lifeguard was very friendly also and found my lost sunglasses for me! The two pool areas are well managed, clean and organised. The apartments are very close to everything and easy to get to. Well done to the staff. Liam and Maria

Minor upgrades needed, some internal doors dont close, electric switches need replacing etc, but considering we got a good room rate and a complimentary bottle of wine in a great location, these issues were very minor. Overall it is the wonderful staff that make such a difference when you are on holiday!

I'm glad I chose this hotel. I was traveling solo and encountered some issues with roaming and banking. Thankfully, the staff was amazing and made me feel very welcome. My hotel room had a living room and an open kitchen, so I even managed to cook some meals for myself. The hotel and the room were impeccably clean and stylish. The hotel boasts a beautiful gym equipped with a Smith machine, light and heavy dumbbells, a sled, cardio machines, and more. The pool area also looks neat, clean, and beautiful. Thank you very much to the super polite staff at reception, especially the two lovely ladies and the extremely professional and polite receptionist, Acaymo.

Nice clean apartment, modern facilities. Loved the artificial grass on the balcony. Would have preferred to be on a higher floor but nonetheless it was a nice stay. The location, just a few metres from the promenade walk, a few minutes from bus stops, ten minutes to Annexo II, were all really good. Friendly unobtrusive staff and cleaners. If you want something simple and pretty low cost, try this one. I'd stay here again.

I think the beds were memory foam. I've never had a MF mattress before and I must admit I wasn't a fan. I like a firm mattress with back support but that's not what memory foam does: it makes a little hollow where you've just been lying and not only is it hard to turn over, but the support is lacking. I made do, though. Not a huge thing.

Paint on wooden part of balcony badly needs re painting. Would have liked 3 keys instead of 2 for 3 people. No duvet in room and it was cold at night in January. Found out by chance next day that these are at reception Bar food wasn’t great

The staff was excellent, really very very nice people. The pool, pool area and gym, absolutely amazing, location is perfect and it's great value for money.

No air-conditioning and the building itself is pretty old, which you don't notice until you enter the room, especially the bathroom, but I think that price, location and facilities make up for it.

Location is perfect, friendly and helpfull staff at reception. Plenty space around pool, however there was no bar at the pool. Spacious enough rooms.

Towels were not changed every 3 days as per their policy. No cleaning done except rubbish was taken. Very hard mattress, but that might not be an issue for everyone.
