The location and view from the suite (on floor 3, 4 or 5) is great. Close enough for a short taxi ride to the Yumbo and good proximity for walking down to the beach. In the seedier side (for swingers!) the nearby (awful) Cita Centre will offer you all you might want. Otherwise it’s best to avoid the basement level. At the hotel the restaurant food is fine, most evenings… with a rotating menu each evening so sure to cater for most people’s favourite dishes. There are no fixed seating times - which is a plus - but the older guests do tend to arrive early for dinner. The younger guests just manage their time to arrive as the first wave of oldies are heading to bed. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and always smiling and many remember you form previous visits. We have been twice and we would visit again.

We never have stayed on the ground floor or first floor and unless you are a smoker or like second hand smoke I would recommend you avoid these floors as the design of the hotel and little wind means that smokers exhaled smoke can linger around the lower doors. It’s a minor issue but one that will make you sick if you really cannot stomach smoke. The lifts are small but efficient.

Excellent location of the hotel, on the dunes by the main promenade. Exit to the dunes and the ocean directly from the hotel. Cleanliness in the hotel, in the room, by the pool is the reference one. Well-detailed details, for example, after returning from the dunes special taps for rinsing feet. Most importantly, however, the staff: friendly, helpful, relational. This stay was important to us for reasons other than sightseeing or tourism only. The staff did more than cool professionalism to make us remember it that way - Thank you. Very good and varied food. Cameral atmosphere. Big parking plot for the cars near by. 3 min by walk to the shop and restaurant center on the beach.

A somewhat small dining room. Demographics of the hotel for the most part rather 60+, for that everywhere peace and blissful silence. End of the day, these are minor matters...

The Hotel comes with a fantastic, quiet location directly at the sand dunes of Maspalomas. There is a panoramic walkway that you can follow along the coast for >10km and a direct access to cross through the dunes down to the beach (approx. 10-15min.). The rooms are spacious, modern and starting from the 3rd floor there is a great view over the dunes down to the beach. The pool area is very well designed to provide ample space and there is an area elevated from the pool with relaxing sun beds and a lounge area to enjoy drinks under the palm trees with great views. The breakfast buffet provides a wide selection of choices incl. pancakes, waffles and special made omelettes.

Evenings are rather quite at this location. So do not plan to hang out at the bar or elsewhere on the venue for drinks after 10pm.

This hotel is exactly what a great hotel should be. Everything here is designed for the perfect, stress-free vacation. The atmosphere is peaceful, nothing feels overwhelming, and every detail is thoughtfully arranged for maximum comfort. The swimming pool is incredibly cozy, and there’s never too many people, making it a perfect spot to relax. The location is wonderful, right next to the dunes, offering stunning views from the rooms. The breakfast and dinner options are both delicious and diverse, ensuring that every meal is a pleasure. For those who enjoy staying active, the gym is excellent, and the sauna is a real highlight—free, hot, and offering breathtaking views of the dunes and the sea. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and in the evening, a talented woman sings beautifully, adding to the charming atmosphere. Honestly, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. This newly renovated hotel is located directly by the dunes of Maspalomas. It is in 5 mins walking distance to the beach promenade and the Cita shopping center. The rooms are modern and spacious, the pool deck is spacious and the buffet breakfast amazing. There is also a quite well equipped gym/ fitness area. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We got a free upgrade to the 5th floor with the best rooms and views, a nice suprise!

There is not much we did not like. I am not a big sun deck person so I would have preferred more shade through palm trees there but I think the majority of guests prefer direct sun - there are plenty of sun beds. In the top floor rooms there are Nespresso coffee makers which is nice. Considering the upscale service level of the hotel I would recommend providing one free refill of the capsules per day. Less fancy hotels do that, it would be just the icing on the cake for the Santa Monica.

Could not fault this hotel whatsoever. Fabulous location with the beach, shops, and restaurants nearby. Fantastic facilities with the pool, bar etc. and everything was extremely clean. The food was lovely with a variety of choices each night, with each night being a different theme. (Make sure when booking via booking.com you select the option with dinner included- it’s more than worth it). All staff were English speaking and so happy to help. On our arrival they had saved us some food because our flight landed after dinner time, and when we asked about tours, the gentleman at reception was happy to recommend and book us onto a tour of the island!

Amazing hotel which exceeded all expectations, all hotel staff were amazing and attentive very pleasant to deal with. Rooms are spacious and very clean not to mention the sea view was stunning. Checked in quite late but everything was ready and waiting and whole process was very smooth, requested a late check out also which was accepted and put in place amazingly. What really stood out for me was coming back to my room to find a note and gift from hotel manager wishing me a happy birthday when i had not mentioned it was my birthday at all, much appriciated.

The only improvment would have been a double bed as opposed to two singles

The staff was amazing! Especially one guy that waited on the tables in the pool bar. We had arranged to give him a really good tip on our last day, but unfortunately he apparently had the day off. The breakfast was equally amazing, with a fantastic selection of anything you think of!

Our stay was amazing. The hotel is new and very modern. The rooms are spacious and clean (big thanks to Mercy for cleaning our room so professionally). The stuff is friendly and helpful . Breakfast was very good, there was a big variety of food. Dinner was fantastic and very various too. Every day there was a differrent cuisine like italian, canarian, asian, etc.

It would be nice to improve the quality of WiFi in the rooms, because the connection wasn't very stable. Also for the breakfast, scrambled eggs could be better - from the real eggs, not from semi-finished poducts. Everything else was perfect, so we definitely recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and well stocked. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all pleasant. The room was large enough though the fridge was a little small. The site was secure on both entrances, from the road and the beach.

The breakfast items could have been hotter, but it's only a minor issue. There isn't really a lot to fault about the hotel and facilities.
