The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Everything you need is close by. We had no trouble finding a bathing chair in the morning as reservations were not allowed The kids loved the hotel with the different pools and many activities. The entertainment team was spectacular and keeps the adults and the the young enjoying their time Their night shows were well prepared I will definitely cone back

Nothing. One small improvement could be the food. Some days the food would be very good but on others it was ok But, You could always find something to eat

Location is great. All inclusive offer was really worth it. food and drinks available 24/7. great selection and good food. Employees were so nice, espcially, Entertainment team - never seen such a nice and welcoming dedicated group. even though travelling with 2 toddlers it was one of the best stays I had so far. both us parents and children were very happy

our bathroom door could almost not be closed. it was swollen wood probably from water consumption from the douche. The noise from the stage is quite strong. trying to go to bed early instead of watching the show downstairs - like we did the first night - could be quite challenging.

We have stayed at many hotels around the world. This is also a great hotel with clean rooms and a kind, polite staff, BUT… We have never seen an entertainment team like this before!!! They worked with such heart and passion that words cannot describe it. They were not only friendly and smiling, as most animators are in hotels, but the level of harmony, professionalism, and charisma this team had was something we had never experienced before. I can confidently say that we will return to this hotel as soon as possible just to meet this team again. We congratulate each member for their dedication and are grateful, as guests, that they contributed to our fantastic vacation.

The hotel is a typical family-friendly resort with all-inclusive services, which attracts many families with children as well as older guests. The atmosphere was lively, but sometimes a bit too chaotic due to the large number of kids. The all-inclusive dining was plentiful, though often crowded and noisy. The room was clean and met standard expectations. The staff was friendly, though occasionally overwhelmed by the large number of guests. The hotel offers decent amenities, including pools and animation programs for children. However, for those looking for a more peaceful holiday, it may not be the best choice. Overall, I would recommend this hotel primarily for families with children who will enjoy the wide range of activities and food options. If you're seeking a quieter stay, it's better to look elsewhere.

Location is great: close to the beach and walk distance from centre. Facilities are amazing: pool is great, the only small problem is only few hours of direct sun, and in afternoon most of sun-beds are in the shade (been there in November, so not sure if during whole year). Food is good and there is plenty of choice. Hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner are comfortable (so no need to rush), and availability of snacks 24h is a big plus. Evening show by the pool was great every day.

Room was advertised as adults only, but hotel is not adults only, so expect kids roaming around the main swimming pool and around the restaurant.

The FOOD! So good, so much variety and available literally all day! Best all inclusive food I had. Staff was friendly, specially the cleaning ladies in the restaurant, reception staff and animation team. I liked that every time we passed by them, they would look us in the eye and say hello. The disco kids is a hit! I was also positive surprised by how clean it was everywhere and how dedicated and professional the cleaning stff at the restaurant were.

Get Punchi a new costume haha! No seriously its a great hotel, there was nothing we didnt like.

All staff was very nice and helpful. Animation team/evening program very good and enjoyable. Gluten free option food available to pre order (pancakes,chips,burger,pizza) + naturally gluten free options from buffet. I liked the fact, that you not allowed to reserve sun lounge with a towel early morning hours before you actually go to pool.

We liked everything. (Tiles at the edge of one pool need fixing.)

The food was great, I am not a fan of buffets but have to say its one of the best buffets in a hotel I have had, the entertainment team work so hard and it shows, very good, fantastic for kids, although we didn't have kids with us we appreciated hiw good this hotel is for families and will return with my gran kids, location is fantastic too, pool bar serving drinks all day and night with different food areas for snacks, you are never hungry or thirsty in this hotel

The shower was rubbish, no pressure and goes hot and cold every 30 seconds, the toilet flush is tricky to use, we get that thus hotel is a save the plant kind of hotel but a shower is one of the important things in your room, second to a comfy bed which it was. Some of the room locations are a bit of a trek away from the bars and restaurants, we were in room 458 which is quite a distance away, it involved walking down 3 corridors with 2 sets of stairs, not ideal with a load of cases, and that was just to get to the lift to take youbto floor 4, and yep 458 is right at the end of the corridor so a mission to get anywhere, so ask for rooms nearer the restaurant if you can get one

As other reviews have stated the food is great. Sometimes with all inclusive it can be a gamble but rest assured there's tasty food options for all including a nice salad bar. The staff are friendly and location is perfect. The beds are also very comfortable and the hotel is pleasantly clean. I've stayed in others in Gran Canária and hopefully if we come back we will be using the Abora Catalina again.

Unfortunately the pool near our room was under construction which is just bad timing on our side but there were others to use which was fine. The only real complaint is that we wish the pool was open later than 6.

The Staff especially the girl on reception ,really friendly and helpful,unlike the 2 older men at the reception on Dunas On the beach San Augustin,who were unhelpful when I realised I had mistaken booked dunas in Cape Verde. Superior family room with a view,fantastic view,comfortable beds,gorgeous Room. Food & drinks 1st class,served quickly no queues any bar.Plenty of staff,unlike any other all inclusive I’ve visited. Location perfect,Entertainment excellent.Animation team so professional. Hairdresser on site,Which looked reasonably priced.Plenty of pools ,jacuzzi,and a naked solarium on roof,which we didn’t visit as we didn’t have enough time.Would definitely return.
