Quieter end of Puerto del Carmen. Beach behind hotel was lovely. No problem getting sunbeds. Sea swimming every day. Beach not stony and spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Lots to choose from. Walkable to main strip along seafront which took maybe 30+ mins. Or taxi for €6. Gym was air conditioned. Room was very quiet and never heard outdoor noises or airplanes at night. Pool area and gardens very well maintained. 6km from airport. Would definitely return in the future.

If sharing room with a friend, the bathroom has a floor to ceiling length glass panel (same size as average door) which enables anyone in sittingroom area to fully see into bathroom. Zero privacy. We shared with our teenage daughter who slept in sofa bed and had to confine ourselves to bedroom any time she used bathroom.

all the pools and the jacuzzis were too cold to go into. over 1 week stay in december i saw a total of 8 people in the pools. it was very frustrsting to see signs on the walls stating the temperature of the pool was 26 degrees and tge jacuzzi was in the 30s when they clearly werent. do the staff not wonder why no one goes into the pools? the beach was right on our doorstep and the sea temp was lovely so we just went to the beach. a real shame about the pools cos everything else was just fab

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was perfect, position of the hotel, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, room equipment, excellent facilities (gym, fitness classes, amazing pool, spa area). Breakfast one of the best I’ve been to. Hotel staff were also exceptional and a special mention to Christina and Nikol, all extremely attentive and perfect at what they do. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and the comfort. Loved everything about this hotel and I will, without a doubt, be returning.

Evening entertainment was not really in-keeping with the hotel. We would have liked something a bit more sophisticated and less tribute band!! Also, at night it was too bright in the restaurant. It felt like a cafe. Lights need dimming and maybe candles. The big umbrellas on the terrace only went up at the end of our stay. Before that there was no shade from morning sun when eating breakfast.

This was our third stay at Lava Beach, so we knew what to expect. The hotel is meticulously clean and maintained, the staff are very polite and friendly. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.

I’m pretty certain our first stay the hotel was adult only. This visit there were quite a number of families with children. This wasn’t an inconvenience and hasn’t changed our opinion of the hotel. We upgraded to a premium plus room and was a little disappointed to find out there was some quite noisy maintenance work being undertaken in the adjoining room. This was only for approximately 2hours on our third day

The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The view is amazing. The location is very convenient. The breakfast was nice and of a good quality. Everyone works so hard. Thank you for all your efforts and for making our stay so nice. The receptionist helped us booking a trip to the volcano and cave which we would recommend! ( apart from the optional meal which we did not have as the quality seemed poor). Thank you all!

We have given feedback as we perceived the pool bar service to be slow. If you like swimming in the sea, it can be windy. We did not particularly like the restaurants near the hotel.

We had a fantastic time at Hotel Lava Beach. The location is perfect—right by the beach and super peaceful, but still close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is modern, clean, and really well looked after. Our room was spacious with a lovely terrace, and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was great every morning with lots of choice, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The pool area is lovely with plenty of space to relax, and the whole vibe of the hotel is calm and chilled. Would definitely come back.

We loved this hotel. The staff are so friendly and professional and very helpful. The Breakfast Buffet was excellent. The hotel has so many extra free classes such as pilates, yoga, water aerobics and much more. The spa was also gorgeous. The Interior design is very modern and immaculate. Everything is always perfectly clean. The pool is large, and the gardens absolutely manicured to perfection.

The Evening Buffet was good but I think the BBQ needs larger pieces of meat. I would like to see a large paella one of the nights. The entertainment was good but could go on until 11pm it stops at 10pm. I would like to see more of the double loungers as they are so comfortable but not enough of them.

Spotless Hotel. The staff are lovely and always have a smile and say hello. Natalia and joel- amazing with the guests. We were half board, and the quality of food was excellent. Always a lovely choice for breakfast and dinner. I can't fault the food or drinks. The welcome, checkin, location, room, amenities , facilities, staff, food, pool, entertainment. All excellent. I wanted a five star hotel for a peaceful holiday. Lava beach delivered. Bravo to you guys. I will see you next year.
