The Hotel Castro is well situated for sleeping over to ensure a short stretch into Santiago de Compostela when walking the Camino. The accommodation is very nice and clean and I got a good night's sleep. There is a bar and vegetable store 80m from the entrance that is suitable to buy a good dinner as the hotel's cafeteria was closed. I will recommend this Hotel on your way into Santiago.

The mini fridge and air conditioning did not work. It is not such a big deal, but one is a little disappointed. I paid in full when I made the booking. But I was called back after I handed in my keys and said my goodbyes and was nearly off the premises. The lady apologized sincerely, but it is a bit humiliating

Lovely big room with comfy bed. Big bathroom with shower. Spotlessly clean. Rooms claim to be soundproofed but you did still hear noise from neighbouring rooms and the corridor. It was a short drive from the airport and suited me perfectly for a 1 night stop off before exploring Santiago and beyond. Free parking was excellent.

The area looked quite industrial with some sort of power station chimney nearby. No buffet style or English breakfast option, only a selection of sandwiches and cakes.

The room was great and it had a lot of space clean all the connections were there. The lighting was good the TV was wonderful. The hotel was was very good. It had breakfast in the morning for a small amount of money.

The location was a little farther away from the city. The benefits were that it was quieter, but you didn’t have too much to choose from. As far as eating and shopping. The property was close to a bus stop. The only thing was on the return from the bus stop you had to cross the highway that was very busy traffic.

The Hotel and apartment was spacious and very well decorated. Rooms were quiet and well equipped. Car parking was ample. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The bed cover looked very smart but should be wider to avoid slipping. A kettle would be helpful.

Lovely polite easy going hotel when you are finishing the Camino. It's 3 miles from Santiago but that makes it better because you need to sleep. Only 10 euro taxi, but walk it🙏 Very clean room after the walk, some places were interesting to say the least 😀 Yeah a thumbs up for me, great value 👍

I've travelled all year and even though I love Seinfeld and should pick things out...I can't. Top 5 hotels this year. If you walking Camino stay there, lovely finish 👍

Location was very nice, as it's a short last day walk to Santiago de Compostela the following day. There was an elevator.

Their restaurant being closed on weekends. The restaurant nearest to the hotel also closed very early on Sundays. We had to get a taxi to go to SDC for dinner.

The room exceeded our expectations. It was roomy, clean and the bathroom was exceptional. Also, very important, it was right off the Caminho Ingles. The cafe provided a wide range of drinks and food items.

We cant think of a negative to either the room or the hotel complex itself.

The room was very nice and spacious, all the hotel is nice &clean We also got extra bed for our child.

The only less pleasant thing were noisy tourist busses with engine running and smelly exhausts right below our window So next time I d try a different section of the hotel.

It was a great place to park up the motorhome out of town.

The Restuarant we were given a menu and told we could not order anything from it. And then the options we were given was different to everyone else. Mixed frozen veg starter and then the same with a piece of fish. It was like Faulty Towers.

Hotel is right on the Camino Ingles so it was fantastic to be able to relax and recuperate after a long day’s walking. It has an old works feel about it in the facade and flooring but all the facilities are modern and comfortable.

As with most of the hotels we stayed in on this trip, no water / beverage facilities are provided in the room.
