Spacious bathroom is a big plus for me. Comfortable bed. The location is nice ( supermarket is few minutes walk, cafe). Metro line is around 7 minutes walk.

Breakfast doesn’t have a big variety of products. First time I found that hotel doesn’t have coffee machine which can make different types of coffee like latte, cappuccino and others, only espresso/americano. One thing was strange for me, there is a bottle of water in the room as a present but you need to have an opener and sure they don’t have it in the room.

This is definitely a good hotel. Rooms and bathroom are comfortable, neat and tidy. I stayed here for several days and was in two different rooms. As far as I know, there are two types of rooms. One type of room has a small vestibule behind the hallway door. In that vestibule, a second door leads to the actual bedroom and a third door to the bathroom. I found this to be the best type of room. In other rooms, the hallway door leads directly to the bedroom with bathroom (so without that small vestibule). My room on the 6th floor looked out onto an inner courtyard. The other room on the 5th floor looked out onto the street at the back of the hotel. In both rooms, there was no noise from outside. The breakfast buffet is very good and offers various options. You can also ask the staff for something extra: such as fried eggs. The staff at the reception and in the bar/restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful. A number of meals can be enjoyed in the evening. Not on Sundays. The hotel is located just outside the city centre. You can get there with metro lines 5 and 7, both of which have a stop in Ayora. From Colón (in the centre of Valencia), Ayora is the 4th station (towards Marítim). You can also take line 5 at the airport (also towards Marítim). When you arrive in Ayora, choose the exit Calle Jerónimo de Monsoriu / Calle de la Industria. Not the other exit. From there it is only 5 minutes to Av. del Port.

A small peculiar remark perhaps is that in the hotel the staff who takes care of the rooms move their towels, sheets, etc. with trolleys, on wheels of course. When they drive through the hall with those trolleys, it sounds like you're hearing a metro. Not that the staff drives wildly or makes a lot of noise themselves. Not at all. But those wheels make a noticeable sound. Of course the staff works from early in the morning. That's why I recommend choosing a room with a vestibule. Strange that no one else wrote this in the comments.

Great location with convenient walking distances to key attractions (Mestalla 20 min, Oceanografic 15 min, beach 15 min, city centre 25 min). Enjoyed a good breakfast and encountered exceptionally polite staff.

Room 225 was quite noisy, likely due to its proximity to the elevator, and the walls seemed to be quite thin.

All very nice. One thing that is missing big time is a ramp for entering the hotel the stroller/wheelchair/people who cannot do the stairs. There is about 10 stairs from the street to the hotels ground floor/reception. We travelled with a 1 year old child and a stroller. Every single time leaving and coming back we had to carry it up and down the stairs. When asked the receptionists if we could acrivate the wheelchair lift istalled by the stairs, they said no and no alternative to carrying the stroller up and doen the stairs all the time.

I like the location - near yo the metro station and city center! I like the breakfast - the coffee is good. Good option for vegan and veggie.if you stay more days, there is an option to waive room cleaning in exchange for drinks. They can cook you an omelet according to your preference. There is fresh orange juice, warm milk and local cuisine - specialties for breakfast. Convenient public transport. There are places to eat near the hotel and supermarkets.

I did not like the darkness in the room - the light in the room itself is not good. It must be with the curtain continuously drawn because the view is to neighboring rooms. Square with windows - you can only see windows if you are without a curtain. Nothing more - a bit depressing.

NH Ciudad the Valencia is a good hotel. It shows a bit signs of age, but it's not bad at all. Room had a good size for a couple. Bathroom was ok and shower worked well. Room was cleaned daily, but towels and bed sheets/linens were never changed for the 3 days of our stay. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is not pretty and has nothing really attractive, but it's convenient to explore different areas of the city. Ayora metro station is just 10min walk and the beach and city of arts and sciences are just 20min walk. Breakfast buffet was good and had a good variety of dishes, including local stuff.

Basically no toiletries (except soap/shampoo) and no slippers provided. Room was turned to the inner part of the hotel and there was no view and no natural light at all. Acoustic isolation not the best and you can hear people and or staff in other rooms/corridors.

Great location close to Ayora metro station, which allows you to be in the city centre in about 5-10 minutes. Rooms are clean and although interiors could use an update, everything was fine. Staff were helpful and very kind, definetely could not fault them!

Rooms aren’t very well isolated, there was one instance were I could hear the guest in the neighbouring room shaving his beard with a trimmer. The sound was so clear that it was like the guest was in my room. Walls are thin and there is also a small gap under the access door, which allows light in at night as well as being a source of noise when another guest walks by or is talking while in the corridor.

Good location near public transport. Beach is 15min bus ride and city center is maybe 20min. Hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Around the hotel there is a supermarket, and general store for everything you need. Also nice pastry and coffee in nearby cafe.

Hotel breakfast is maybe a bit expensive at €15 per person, however they offer a nice variety of food. €10 per day for faster wifi is just ridiculous, but the free wifi is decent enough.

Good location, close to the metro and also to several bus stations. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of energy for someone eager to discover Valencia on foot!:) Very helpful staff, always there if you have a question or a request. We arrived in town early in the day and left very late in the evening, but is was no problem to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out, respectively.

Nothing to say here! We went to Valencia to have a good time and that's exactly what we had!:)

The location is excellent, the staff were helpful and accommodating. The reception very well presented, obviously been renovated. The breakfast was high quality and plentiful, the serving staff very helpful. Bed and pillows comfortable, excellent nights sleep. Hotel parking excellent.

The bedroom was OK but in need of redecorating, wallpaper coming off the wall. The bathroom needs a complete renovation and more importantly a good clean, there were areas which had obviously been missed.
